Emily smiled picking up a sandwich, she never had a proper sandwhich in her life until she came to Hogwarts. Both Josh and Earl had agreed that the tiny cucumber finger sandwiches didn't count. However, Emily had become quite fond of them and the varieties there were. So she tended to pick one to eat at lunchtime if a new one poped up.

Emily looked over at Earl "I still say finger sandwiches count" she said sticking out her tongue at him. She had picked up a bacon sandwich to which after taking a bite her eyes went wide and looked down at it. She set the sand which down and started to opened it to see what was inside. "what is this?!" she asked pulling up a bacon strip. She sat up holding it out to Earl

"It's bacon. Have you never had bacon? Oh the humanity. Josh." He said lookibg at Josh. "She's never had bacon."

Josh let out a hardy laugh "I'm sorry Emily...." he said but just could not help but laugh, but her expression of amazement and confusion was hilarious to Josh. "oh no the horror!....her poor soul...has never tasted the heavenly bacon" Josh said
"huh?...ba..con?..." she said saying bacon in a weird way causing Josh to giggle. "...no I never had ba con...what is it?....is this a muggle food?..." she said confused as she looked at the two boys.

"so anyone can have bacon?...." she said sitting back down as she took another bite of the bacon " I wonder why I never have heard of it..." she said looking at the bacon strip "it kinda looks like prosciutto....but cooked and crispy..." Emily said wondering why she never had bacon before.
