Emily frowned turning turning towards the comment to see who had spoken. Before she said anything to the Hufflepuff girl she was stopped by Earl's quick input. She looked up at Earl as he stood there defending her.

"Aw look at that. johnson likes the Slytherin girl." She said. Earl pulled out his wand and pointed it at her. "Maybe I do just a little bit that a problem for you? You have your head stuck so far up your arse with house pride?" "That's enough Earl." Ron said. "Put your wand away and sit down." Ron then looked at the HUfflepuff girl. "Five points from Hufflepuff. Five points to Hufflepuff on Earl's part defending a fellow student and you'll have detention with me young woman."

Emily glared at the Hufflepuff girl and what she was saying. It was dumb thing to make fun of, course Earl liked her. After all she and Earl are best friends. The interaction was soon stopped by Ron, which Emily was most surprise from the out come. Their classmate got in trouble losing points and getting detention. However Earl being awarded? he sure was lucky
