He yawned as they made it to defense against the dark arts. The teacher this year was a middle aged man with black hair and square rim glasses. He wore unconventional clothing. Not robes or a suit but rather a long sleeved blue T and jeans.

"you're going to make me fall asleep in class" she said as they walked into defense against the dark arts. As they went into the classroom Emily took note of how different their professor dressed from the other professors. "Earl...he is dressed kinda oddly, isn't he?..." she whispered

"He's wearing very casual muggle clothing," He said. "Morning kids." The man said in an American accent. "I'm Jack Wilde. You can call me Mr. Wilde. Professor Wilde. Professor Jack. Or Mr. Jack. Or just Jack whatever catches your fancy. I graduated top of my class from Ivlemory." He said. "Spent a few years as head of No-maj and Wizard relations for a while as well as being an Auror." He said. "Alright lets see who I'm working with." He pointed at Emily. "Lets start with you. What's your name? What are some of your interests?"

"Casual...muggle ...clothing?..." she whispered more to herself then to Earl, quite intrigued with his way of dressing. She wondered if all muggle teachers dressed in such a way. Emily quitely listened as the professor introduced himself to the class, she and many other were intrigued when they clearly heard his accent as well when he mentioned he graduated from Ivlemory. Emily got a bit nervous when she was first pointed out from the class, but she pushed those nerves away as she replied. "I'm Emily sir, Emily Turner.....I play the violin, draw and I have quite the fascination with magical creatures..." she answered
