Emily chuckled to how much Earl disliked the character although she had no clue who these heros that him and Josh would always discuss.
"Well yeah. All of my other friends are so there's no reason to stay."
"True, I was sure Josh and Alyssa were going home, But I didn't know you were going as well" she said. Now knowing they would all be on the train together. "Um Earl...could I ask you for a favor when you go back home? Could you take Luna with you?" She asked
"Why?" He asked.
"well I can't leave her at Hogwarts on her own....and well I can't take her home as well, father wouldn't allow me to have her in the house....so I think she will be happier with you during our brake.." she replied
"Alright. I'll do it." He said
"thank you Earl" she said with a smile. She would miss her kitten while back home on the holidays but she would be happy to know she would be safe with Earl.
"So you're dad. Seems like the real strict type."
"Yes...he is quite strict....he just like things done a certain way..." she replied
"And blows up if they aren't?"
Emily was starting to feel uneasy talking about her father "he has a few times.."
He noticed he uneasiness. He decided to back off. "Nevermind."
Emily didnt say anything as she just hugged her knees and looked out to the lake
He smiled and took off his robes and uniform leaving him in swimming trunks.
Hearing rustling next to her, she turned and looked up to see Earl now standing there in swimming trunks.
He ran into the water of the black lake
Emily staied back on shore as she watched Earl run off to the lake to were Lucky was. She opened her bag and pulled out a book and started to read.
He spent a good two hours in the water and came out sunburned. "Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow."
Emily looked up from her book and gasped "oh my goodness Earl...your completely red"
"Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow."
Emily set her book down and stood up to take a look at him, he was horribly sunburned. " I dont know if any of my healing spells will work....ill go talk to Madam Pomfrey I know she will have burn paste...stay right here..." she said taking off running "don't move!" She yelled before disappearing into the school
He sat down in the shade.
Emily came back catching her breath before saying a word "Earl! I got the burn healing paste" She said holding out the bottle to him
He started to apply it to his skin. The affect was almost instantly
"Wow... this stuff is wonderful" Emily said with amazement
