um I don't mind i'm cool with whatever. But wouldn't @Tiny Dancer be included in that as well or no?

It'll depend on whether or not Toyu went with them to Kailai's place. Knowing Kailai he'd probably invite him over as well...but I don't want to God mod. And I think Toyu already knows he's a Celestial warrior...as well as the fact that Meilin is the Seiryuu priestess...especially after Darling's last post =P

Well let's keep things to about 5 maximum for now, that should include non-combat skills as well.


I was asked a very interesting question I though I should clarify for everyone.


Question: Can the Celestial Warriors 'sense' the presence of their Priestess?


Answer: When the Priestess arrives into the world of the Four Gods Universe, all their celestial warriors literally feel her arrival and their symbol glows. Being near the priestess as a celestial warrior gives them a particular feeling from her presence. Otherwise, celestial warriors do not have an innate ability to 'track' the priestess when separated from her. However real-world tracking skills or supernatural ones can be used to do just that.

Heh, that was how it was intended. As for where Toyu starts off in the next chapter, I will keep him back, as I can't see him following Kailai around like the others. He would be aware he is a Celestial warrior already.

Plus we get to see some of the Seiryuu warriors' responses--whether they decide to join the priestess, their reasons for doing so, or if Meilin even wants to be a priestess, etc.


On the other hand, skipping all that will allow us to get to the plot faster...which is where all the interesting stuff is.

So, those in the know about their celestial warrior heritage would figure out that Mei Ling is the Priestess of Seiryu. That being the case, a relatively short explanation about the lore and all that can either be summarized by a scene at the temple, or it can be implied that most of the info has been explained and they are simply at the temple to reinforce that fact to her.


Go ahead and set the tone of the new chapter. Everyone else will follow suit... well most everyone. I created the problem of the 'beast' in this chapter to give the Priestess a sense of duty, unknowingly of course. I am trying to work with the priestess' personality:

Whenever someone is in trouble, Mei-Lin will be there to defend them

Thanks, I guess I didn't want to "crash dive" by not making sure of what is happening with our characters exactly, like where they are at the moment and so on.

I like writing in a more impersonal narrative form when writing plot posts. But I'll add more detail next time.


I have found that having different events marked by chapters and such creates a fresh start for new action.

Many times that makes things easier to catch up for some, because dragging on the same narrative for a long time can overwhelm someone who has been away since they have to catch up with everything.


I try to make it so that new chapters give everyone a clean slate on where they want their characters to be.
