I also vote for number one because we've already invested so much time on our characters and we have something good going on now, and it'd be a shame to see all that go to waste.

If possible, No.1 would be best. Mostly because if we ended up restarting I would feel... oddly wanting to make my character a little more dark and 'evil' as people got to know him. Funny part is that if you look in hak's bio, there in plenty to suggest his past being darker than I have wrote down.(A side I am still hesitant to reveal or use)

If we made it concurrent with current event,s would would have to Skip Over the current point, give a Description of what happened during the exchange, (ie.Gensho and Naname made it in time as Hak was trying to save both his sister and Koi and the deal went south, both girls ended up being passed out for several days, all the warriors being all tense towards hak, etc.)


Then go do some thing that like...say the girls got hit with a poison and the warriors go to some ruins, find the cure, fight a boss, etc. then when Koi comes back during that time, we can either continue on or start back to where we were before.


That's whats going through my head anyway.

Or...during the whole event, Koi(the priestess of Genbu) gets kidnapped by an unknown assailant, and you must gather the rest of the Genbu warriors to save her. Story changes to rescue the priestess.


And to make it more epic, it's someone from Kutou who's the kidnapper, so your characters have an excuse to come meet our characters ( )

True. Poor Koi does end up getting kidnapped alot lol.

Okay then, I feel number 1 would be the obvious choice at this point. However I will be going with this somewhere out of left field when dealing with the priestess and what the group should do now. At least that is what I would like to think I am doing haha

I also agree with #1 I kinda like Mitsuhide atm. So I want to RP him some more.....

Hey everyone,


I have come to a decision to discontinue this RP for now. There were various reasons for this decision ( hype dies down, holidays dampered posting, people MIA, etc) but my biggest reason is the fact that I cannot reconcile my choice of dividing the RPers into two groups and heavily depending the story on the Priestess', it has mostly been detrimental for the Genbu side however, trying to reorganize this through plot holes and other things has been difficult for me. Mostly due to my pride and desire as a storyteller to tell things right and by the book. Better GM's would have simply made up some jazz to bridge the story... confound my sense of continuity!


So for now, rather than let this die slowly, let us freeze it in suspended animation. That way at a later date, if the interest is still there, simple call to arms will have all of us and maybe more, flock back to this classic story.


I thank you sincerely for your participation. You are all quality RPers whom any GM would like to have.


Also, on that note, and being honest even more, another reason for the dismissal of this RP, is because I have been investing into a revival of an RP from another site, but reviving it here. I hope you do not mind me tagging you all into the interest thread in the future. @Helral, @Jack Rakan, @Fenris,@Andromeda Arc know of what I am speaking of. If you want to inquire from any of them or myself in pm's.
