I know how you feel, a few years ago, or several, I was one of the lead roles in a Musical Play. We were told we did a great job. But the thing that killed it was the Microphone for the Piano... the music drowned out most of the lines and everything... makes it horrible on dvd.


I am also looking forward to meeting your character. I think it'll be a fun encounter.


EDIT; Normally, they are supposed to check that stuff hours before the event... it's strange that they didnt do that.

Actually, we had a tec rehearsal (or something) but it was for a limited 15 mins. However, they just tested the video that would be shown on screen, the background music with the speakers, and our blocking on stage. We didn't even get to test the microphones. Dx


so yeah... so strange... and disappointing.

It can take me 15min to hours--possibly days--to write a single post, depending on the amount of ideas/motivation I have. Even then, I can't post until I'm relaxed, at home, and in front of my pc (' :| )

Celestial Power: She can speak into peoples minds. It matter not who she can make a connection with a person and speak inside their mind and so long as she keeps that channel open the person can respond to her.


Celestial Artifact: will think of one later


Weapon of choice: Twin swords each with a single edge. They combine together to form a dual edge heavy blade.


Elemental Affinity: Ice and Lightning

Physical Appearance


- She is 178 cm tall


- She weighs: 138lbs


- She has lavender colored hair with bangs and a length that reaches down her back


- For a person with an academic job she has a well honed physique.


-She wears a lilac colored traditional one-piece dress with matching detached sleeves and an overcoat made of fur.


- Her glasses are custom made and she likes them a lot.


-She wears long stockings that keep her warm.




Personality:


Courageous: She is no coward. In fact she faces most dangers with a hearty attitude. There is not much she fears. Anything she does find to fear she gets over it by focusing on what she has to do.


Resourceful: Even if there is only one hope of winning she is able to discern it. She will use many things from her looks, personality belongings and surroundings to attain her goals.


Cunning: Her resourcefulness is can surpass her morals and conscience, making her do things that most normal ordinary and good folk would not do. If it means using people, their feelings, theirs passions for her to get what she wants, than so be it.


Liar: She can lie when she needs to. Holding the truth back is what she may view it as.

Biography:


Lei Lan Fa was born to a farmer of the distant province near the vast plains area of the south of the empire. For years the townspeople housed many nomadic tribes that came to them. Leilan was fascinated with the world outside but her parents thought it best to keep her in the town as a protection. Although she didnt know it, the people of the town recognized her birthmark as a symbol of Genbu priestess' warriors. During a time of struggle of power, the borders near her town have been attacked by bandits and soldiers from other places. She decided to help to fight against her parents wishes and found out that she was quite a warrior. It was around this time that she found out about her powers.

When she returned her parents explained everything to her about the traditions of the warriors of Genbu and the priestess, lore passed down to every generation. She wasnt mad about it but now she knew and that meant a lot to her. As she grew older she did not live for the sake of her destiny but chose a path aside from it. She thought it would be okay to do as she pleased and when and if the priestess came then she would do her duty. She continued her farming with her parents land during the growing season and worked as a teacher during the off season.

Description: Leilan puts lightning ki into an object and uses that object to pierce the ground. Where the object is will shock anyone except her within 10 meters or so.

Description: it shoots crystal shaped ice at the bad guy


Name: Spiral Flash


Type: Ki


Element: Lightning


Description: Using the lightning properties of the ki she can multi twirl her twin blades around her to either bash down the enemy or defend against attacks.

Description: calls up a mist that makes everyone in it difficult to find out where everyone else is except for Leilan.

Plot post is up. I timeshifted everyone a day ahead and wrote in some standard plot to explain what happened. Feel free to have your character moved anywhere you wish. The plot I am currently focusing on is brought out in the post for each group.


Seiryu group is to investigate the 'Beast' related attacks, not all members need to do this if they have something else in mind, but at least the priestess and one other person. I will post leading plot into that story and may act as a TPC.


Genbu group, we are going to focus a little more on the plot of why the empire is searching for the priestess and the celestial warriors.

Well, it was mostly a One Liner type RP unless you are fighting. Generally, when I post now I write as I am thinking about it. So in reality, it takes me about five minuets depending if the post itself is still flowing out of my head. I cannot for the life of me take longer than twenty minuets at a time writing a post.


So in all seriousness, when I say i'm going to post, the post that comes after ten minuets or sooner literally came out of my brain with no prior thought. I don't know if there is anyone here who could attest to that more than maybe Shin, since half the time the post is sometimes actually needs edits after it's posted lol. (makes it seem that i can post whenever unless I am stuck haha)
