I went and finished the main series for Fushigi Yuugi. watched up to the second OVA(which is insane).


Now i'm taking a break. it reminds me of other anime (akatsuki no yona for one). I am fairly impressed with how this series settled my mind from the more 'mainstream' anime and has opened the door to many ideas. xD dang i love old anime....

What put me off was this line at top of the Character section: Post your CS draft in OoC for the GM to approve.

-nods- The GM and I have role played together in another rp here on the site, and he set up a conversation with me in private to discuss entering this role play. We had a back and forth about this and the character I would play, so I am afraid that the approval and such was held in private. Apologies for any confusion on my part.

I'm enjoying Seiryuu's side immensely right now: dragon with amnesia, royal librarian, court treasurer, runaway princess, emperor's personal soldier, and a priestess aiming to be a star actressxD. I really wanna post again, but I think I'll wait until the others get a chance to post.

Fushigi Yugi has a special place in my heart as the first romance/reverse harem anime I ever watched ()
The journey and drama was certainly memorable, though (in my opinion at least) things only got exiting after the ceremony was screwed up and the journey to look for the shinzaho beganxD


Never watched the anime for Akatsuki no Yona, but I've read the manga. From my point of view, Akatsuki no Yona is more about politics and character building, whereas Fushigi Yugi is more about the epic adventure and fantasy--though both have aspects of each other.

But now, since I watched it all and have a decent idea with how some of it works, I'll be ending up using my strange ability to write the post as i am thinking about it. It's kinda weird.

Kailai is viewed of as weirdo by his peers because he's occasionally seen talking to animals, his pacifist views, his tendency to seclude himself in the library, and because his best friend is a bird. Though, I definitely see Mitsuhide as being his second best friend...since they probably spent a lot of time together


And now that he's basically revealed his identity as a celestial warrior to the city guards...heh(>>)


As for Mitsu meeting the group, no worries. Kailai plans on returning to the library to double-check the Universe of Four Gods...possibly bringing the group along to hear the story as well^^

She and Koi both arrived late in the day I think, so now it's close to evening, like almost sun set? @Koi Miazaki does that sound right, cause I know it was day when you and I arrived but some time has passed, so I'd think it'd be close to sundown. xD
