So far Shin has always done a good job with hosting RP's.


Well I've just read through all the OoC posts, time to read up on the IC posts. To get a feel as to how the RP flows.


[Edit] started working on a character sheet. Genbu senshi. And I think I'll somewhat reuse Nistor for this. Though not the non-violence part.


[Edit2] don't feel like creating a new post for this thing: put up part of the character sheet, still under construction but take a look at it. I still need to rewatch more of the series to get the correct feel of the setting. This is also why I've got a lot of todo/in progress remarks on the sheet.

It's a good place to get started and you can try new things, and hopefully branch out into other places. This site has quite a few RP's ( understatement )


Anyway post your Character sheets here for approval like always lol. Although it is set in the Universe of the Fushigi Yuugi franchise, I've completely wiped out most of the history, just the settings and lore are what we are taking for this RP.

Celestial Power: Gliding: While not exactly fly, he is able to glide up to a distance of 10meters, he can also utilize this in a way that allows him to be quick of his feet moving very rapidly and quickly. By using wind, he can glide at a faster speed in small 'jumps'. Shorter the distance, the faster he is. He cannot glide higher than 3 feet from the ground, can glide from rooftop to rooftop though.


Celestial Artifact: Don't know yet.


Weapon of choice: He has a Guan Dao spear on his back but mostly used the Miao dao broadsword.

Clothing; Aside from his attire, he wears a torn cloak-like cape and minimun armor which is on his left shoulder. He also wears armored boots.





Personality:


Positive;


----He is generally a happy person who would like not much more than to sleep. Has a Habit (and history) of flirting with women which more often than not usually goes no further than beings friends and having connections, unless they themselves wanted a little more for their acquiantanceship. Which surprisingly he never gets in trouble with most women at all... Unless trhey are actually trying to harm them(which usually ends with them blushing n not knowing what to say)


-----He is very easy to get along with yet has a sort of mischief about him and often will trick or play with those he knows to the point where they get irritated or embarrassed. Loves to drink and spends most of his time hiding in bars and the like from the Emperor trying to contact him, which he is no good at things like that and uaully ignores all summonings from the Palace, including the summons from the emperor, making him one of the more lazy Celestial Warriors. Even though he says that he forgot when he actually ignored the summons for drinks.


----Despite this attitude, he actually has reasons for such behavior, such as he does it to enmlighten the mood or gets people's minds of despressing things, even going as far as the tease the Priestess if she felt sad.


---He is very protective of his comrades, up to the point that he would kill anyone who threatened the safety of the Priestess, even the Emperor himself.





Negative;


---As Stated before, he has a habit of drinking and staying in Taverns, which sometimes gets him into trouble causing fights which makes others look down upon him.


---When fighting he kills mercilessly, everyone who stood up against him usually will be killed. Even those who beg, he usually kills them with a cold expression, which sometimes alienates him from his comrades. He is not above flat out killing a man if they commit a grievous crime in front of him such if he caught them killing a human or fun or severely harming a woman or child.


Biography: He was born into a High Class Nobility, learning politics and swordfighting. At the age of 15 it was made known to him that he was a Celestial Warrior, which at firs was left as a secret by his parents. Somehow the word of this got to the Emperor and while he officially became a Celestial Warrior at the age of 17, he was actually forced has his family was them moved to some other part of the world and taken hostage, though for them, it was pretty much a happy excursion for his parents who were actually one of the very few noble families who really didn't care about status despite their nobility.


After that, he had actually left the Capitol and trained for the coming of the Priestess. As the years gone by he was well known not as a Celestial warrior, but as a fool who constantly got into fights in taverns around the country and picked up women. One rumor in particular is how he has assembled a harem of women, thought hat is a lie, but hey, it made him more popular. To the ladies anyway, for the truth is most of them he saved from monsters or crooked men.


He never really met any of the other Celestial Warriors


He was last known to have been somewhere outside the City of Touran hiding out after hiding from ther Empire who sent out a summons for him months ago, which he forgot about.


Life skills; Over the course of his training he was good at tracking wild game and Hunted for a living. Most camping or hunting related things he is good at.


List of special techniques: can only think of three for now.

Element: Wind


Description: Charging his sword with sharpened Ki, he can release a slash of wind sharp enough to cut through a sword and shield. it's a fairly userful for some long distance attacks. It is also purely for diarming, and does not harm the target, unless he makes it so.


Name: Electric


Type: Mana


Element: Lightning


Description: By either charging his sword or hand with Lightning, he can fire either a Lightning bolt or allow for lighting to travel across the ground towards the target, the range is small unless it comes into contact with Water.


Name: Blitz wave


Type: Mana


Element: Wind


Description: By swinging his sword he can generate a massive wind tempest that can blow a small building away, rthough is comepletly harmless to humans, it may still toss them into deathly situations.

• About the general height, he's neither in bad nor good shape.

Benevolent:


* Open-minded: When approached he's open to anyone talking to him while keeping at least 1 hand inside his outfit on his Tekken. He's trustworthy as long as you don't offend him.


* Keeper of secrets: He'll keep whatever is told to him to himself, unless he got permission to tell others the information.


Somewhere in between:


* Calculated: When faced with decisions he'll always take his time, even when there is none to take. This could result in him being late to help someone or in taking exactly the correct action to save someone. It entirely depends on the situation. This also results in him not talking all that much, unless it's necessary.


Malevolent:


* Quick to strike: When someone offends him he's somewhat quick to strike out using his Tekken. Because of his status in court he hasn't been reprimanded yet.


* world-strange: He hasn't been outside the court since birth, trained to handle the treasury he learned how to do the bookkeeping of the country. So far his mark has not been discovered.


Biography:


His parents were well known warriors, sadly they died in a fight against monsters when he was young. He has little to no memories of his parents and believes that one is raised by those nearby. His early years at the court consisted mostly of running from and to with messages while in between he got taught how to fight. His prowess with the Tessen got him some respect, even though he refused to join the military. His skills with the calculus allowed him to keep a spot in the court at the treasury department. Doing the numbers and informing the head treasurer of the state of the cashflow.


Ever since he was borne he was stuck inside the court, and didn't really mind it. His mischievous acts as a child where that he'd sneak off with some books or scrolls of people to read them. Later he would always return them, and several times he was also caught trying to look at documents that weren't meant for his eyes. This way he learned not to look at documents from the generals, and a few other members of the court. Unknown to him some of the court members actually prepared scrolls for him to read.


Nobody has of yet noticed the sign of the 'Winnowing Basket' on his shoulder, since this has always been covered up by his outfit ever since it started to show itself. He himself has some notion about it, and is looking through scrolls in his spare time to figure out what it means. He's known in the library as someone now knowledgeable about signs and symbols, although he's yet to find a scroll mentioning the symbol of the Seiryuu warriors.


Life skills: calculus, tessenjutsu (martial art of the fan)

Description: Taking out his fan he spreads it and using his ki enhances it to be like metal. Thus making it capable of knocking away projectile weapons without damaging the fan.

Description: Taking his fan he spreads it out, and while using his ki to enhance it he waves it causing a shockwave to follow.

His background seems a little plain though. Does he have any family? Interests besides book-keeping/maintaining the court treasury?


Just so you know I mentioned in my first post that the emperor of kutou is offering huge rewards to anyone who has leads on a seiryuu warrior so...if he cares about palace coffers...(:B)

I think we'll have to wait for the timeskip before I can move everyone around. I was going to timeskip the Genbu group to search the city Touran at the insistence of the priestess, for her friend. If your character is still around Touran we can meet him there.

I remember that from the anime series, but no. The time discrepancy would be too great. However that is not to say the priestess and the warriors will not have adventures in the real world. As the intro post of the RP states, both worlds are in peril. So we will have some action in the real world which will make for some interesting posts.


So basically, time will flow the same in both world.
