Someone told me that my daughter was very cute. My "daughter" was my little sister...

That makes me think of a type of story my mom has told me before.


When my brother (who is two years older than I) was born, my two aunts were there. My older aunt (who is, I believe 17 or 18 years older than my mom) was holding my brother when the doctor walked in to check my my brother, and he said, "Aww, can I take the baby away from Grandma for a moment?" My mom just looked at her sister then said, "She's my sister." The doctor squirmed for a moment, but my mom's sister only laughed and said, "As long as I get to take him away sometimes and spoil him, I don't mind being called Grandma!"
