Name:Siren
Species: Grey Fox

Skills (aka regular skills of a grey fox:
Speed: can run up to 42 miles per hours
Excellent at swimming (how it kills it's prey)
Can climb trees
Impeccable sight, smell and hearing. (They can hear a mouse squeal from 150 feet away)
Grey fox claws retract

Beast abilities:
Can breathe underwater
Can swim as fast as it can run.
Uses it's sight to see when swimming
Drags prey/enemy's beneath water to drown them instead of letting them drown.


Diet: omnivore

Elemental affinity: water

Chimera's familiar. It's still weird using a real picture for a faceclaim since I typically draw but as shown I suck at animals. But I overall had fun with the creative aspect of it

Species: Polar Bear

Beast form: Tundra Guardian (enlarged form with various ice crystals on him)

Elemental Affinity: water/ Ice

Basic skills:
+great hearing (akin to a dogs)
+strong swimmer (6mph)
+can run up to 37mph
+still hunter (can stay perfectly still for hours on end)
+strong sense of smell
+physically strong
+ three forms (Base, Bear, Guardian)

Beast Skills:
+ice based magic
+Yetti (stands on 2 legs and increases his physical strength)

Special ability: Tundra
Tundra has two separate abilities built in, it could either create a massive snow storm from the moisture in the air to shield anyone in the eye of the storm or tundra can be used as an elemental boost to Eli giving him greater control over ice magic.

I personally took this limitation in stride. I took inspiration for Siren's abilities and beast form based off of how grey foxes actually kill their prey.

(Which is done by a grey fox driving their prey into water and waiting for them to drown before collecting their prize)

Base form and animal forms are real normal animals that are found in nature. The beast form allows them to turn into mythical creatures as long as it makes sense.

Yorrick is a polar bear turns into a Yetti like beast

Siren is a fox that gains aquatic like adaptations

And Aria is a peacock that turns into a Phoenix

I figured she would have a wolf that turns into some version of fenrir but if you are trying to make it more interesting.

You could do a lizard that turns into a dragon or something of that nature. As long as you can explain the transformation I will consider it

Most mythological beasts are either animal hybrids (like the Chimera or Griffin) or monster animals. (Like the Kraken or Pheonix) as examples.

GUIDE TO CHIMERA'S SUPPORT SWEETS
Chocolate chip cookies:
made specifically to help with basic aches, pains and to stop blood loss before it becomes severe.
Sugar cookies:
helps with open wounds and indigestion, may also increase proteins in the bones to help assist with stuff like fractures. Fracture bones cannot magically heal entirely with a sugar cookie however.

helps with different infections. May also cleanse the body of unwanted bacteria.

I’m sure a few of you have been waiting to see what I came up with for Ember’s familiar, so here you go.



Name: Cybros

Species: a black furred Wolf with yellow eyes. Appears as a small pup when not in a fight.

Beast form: transforms into a 3 headed wolf.

Elemental Affinity: cursed flames - flames that can cause status ailments beyond just burning.

Base skills: superior senses (hearing, smelling, etc.) maintains a pack instinct when with ember. Supernatural strength, speed and agility.

Beast form skills: fire control

torrential blaze - becomes surrounded by a tornado of fire that can be used as a shield or sent after an enemy.

Wealth of Erebus - capable of fertilizing plants with volcanic ash straight from the depths of Tartarus, very nourishing for all plant life

Forbidden skill!!

Tartarian Titan - a purely reactionary skill that has only happened once. When Ember loses all control and enters a feral rage, her familiar becomes a monstrously Titanic beast driven by the desire of pure destruction.

Diet: anything

Appearance: the monster

History: the monster was unleashed the day that a Celtic next gen claimed victory over a Valkyrie in training and tarnishing her honor as a warrior, in anger of lose Ember became overcome with rage and the valkyries banded together to subdue the beast and chain it in the freezing landscape of helheim, ember on the other hand was punished in a different way and the Celtic warrior learned a terrible truth

Also, it seems people were posting to try to hurry them out of there so that's part of why James seems oblivious to stuff like Eli's responses/Eli needing responding to multiple things.
