St. Germain used a variety of names and titles, including the Marquis de Montferrat, Comte Bellamarre, Chevalier Schoening, Count Weldon, Comte Soltikoff, Manuel Doria, Graf Tzarogy, and Prinz Ragoczy.
so long story short he was either a real alchemist, or a really talented conman. either way there are lots of places you can read about him on Wikipedia or on liveabout.
You know it’s a wonder how many people throughout the years actually studied alchemy is crazy because of how it’s viewed today. But then again people used to search out witchcraft to help with ailments before they hunted witches
