I’m curious what everyone is thinking since they all witnessed a next gen elder fail to summon a familiar, something of which everyone else succeeded

Rory probably doesn't care nor is he much interested. Same as his feelings towards her past. History with Scatty or no, Rory just sees Ember as another student.

So any idea when the Sub villian shows up before the main bads army?

If I recall right After this class there's going to be some interaction for characters then there will be a 6 month time skip. (After the time skip every one will get to fill in the blanks for what their characters have been up to) and after the time skip we meet the first 2 bad guys

Rcticwolf I'm going to be doing a holiday illustration for Flamel Academy! Which brings me to ask 2 questions.

1. Would I have your permission to add Ember in the drawing?

2.if so would you allow her to be dressed as a reindeer or something else?

I had an interesting thought, what if everyone could use all the elements, however if anyone tries to use any element that wasn’t their initial element. Example being if Ember used her aura to use water for anything would act like a poison on the body that would take a significant depletion of aura to counter, leaving the user in a very weakened state

Well no because everyone can already learn multiple elements (usually just sorcerers/elementalist) so using a certain elemental magic that’s opposite to your primary won’t really do anything.

The whole primary and secondary element thing is simply what elements your character wanted to learn. Not something that it like intricately tied to one’s being. So even if ember is a fire master because fire is what she closely connects to doesn’t mean she couldn’t learn water magic or air magic. It would just be weaker than fire because that’s what she is a master in, or should would have trouble understanding how to use it properly . Though I do get what you are saying, and certain types of magic do cause damage or require sacrifice (like chimera with time magic). I guess it could be more of a psychological thing? Something mental that blocks her from using other forms of magic and her body responds with physical pain

I do approve of her having some sort of block that doesn’t allow her to use other forms of magic and it makes her physically ill if you wanted to go that route!! Let me know what you are thinking
