Heya, guys. I am gravely sorry for the slowness of this Roleplay. I have been lacking motivation to push it onto the next scene... or trying to make the reboot, for that matter. I’ve been stuck trying to make a cool intro for the reboot Roleplay. Plus, I’m having trouble trying to push the episode to the next scene.

Honestly, I feel like you shouldn't be planning so far ahead - y'know? And rushing this along really isn't going to help anyone?

Don’t we all usually plan ahead of time? I know I like to do that alot. And I rarely change my plans unless there are glaring plotholes or new developments arose.

Also, happy New Years, everyone!

That much is understandable, but I feel it's not really a good idea to plan ahead too far - I mean, who knows if we'll even get to the reboot, y'know?

Welcome to 2020, fellas! Have a good one!

Heya, guys. So, I know the roleplay has been... a little slow lately and the reboot that I've been working on hasn't been released for almost a year, but I'm still trying to make some progress onto the reboot, little by little! In fact, just to prove that I'm trying to work on it, here's a sneak peek on the reboot so far.

----------------------------
"Oooh... for the final time, General Phoenix, I am NOT recruiting any more crewmembers."
"Captain Spearson, you sure as hell know that, when fleet captains, such as yourself, are qualified to be given an elite crew, you need a minimum of FOUR crewmembers-"
"Sir, I am perfectly comfortable with the crew that I have chosen and, as far as I know, they are all that I need."
"Oh, really now, Snowflake? How so?"
"Talia Shore: a well-known and very successful assassin who uses her stealth and improvised weapons during her missions against our enemies. A qualified candidate for my legion, as well as a useful invader. Hamele Isaragi: a skilled medical doctor and surgeon who, thanks to her special utilities, can ensure her patient's survival. Xu'Orz: a Thugalek defective who was part of the Commission's science branch, he will always provide a scientific explanation to any anomalies and assist in neutralizing them.
And don't call me Snowflake."
"Hm... Oh, how very useful. Kind of sounds like you're running more of a skeleton crew here. While you are running a solid crew, you seem to be forgetting the fact that, aside from not meeting the minimum crewmember quota, you are holding a crew that does not have access to another set of hands."

"And allow me to reiterate: I never really wanted a full crew from the start for fear of causing additional casualties; I only choose to pick a handful because the other fleet captains and you will not stop pestering me about it."
"Oh, alright, Captain Snowflake. I am so sorry for trying to giving you a little cabinet because, apparently, you are such a stable genius to not need additional handwork!"

"Sir, I am not a genius. I only command a large-scale space fleet. I do not have extensive knowledge of science nor medicine-"
"And yet, you kept persisting that you do not need a crew, even though they are an elite class who could potentially save your ass from large-scale assaults from the Cyber Empire!"

"Sir-"
"Captain Susan Spearson, I am getting sick of this insubordination! You are the one who got yourself a crew, whether willingly or not, so you will heed to the rules accompanied it! So, I will give you a choice: You either pick one or more crewmembers to fill in the minimum crew quota or you can just your existing crew the boot entirely! What will it be?"

"..."
"... Well?"

"... Fine. Fine, sir. What are your recommendations?"
"Fina-freaking-ly. Here is my laptop. It contains the files of potential candidates for your elite crew."

"Thank you... ... The first candidate that I read was named Ma'arz."
"Ma'arz Gelonz? Ah, yes. He's a graduate from Mars, who is waiting to fill in his occupation as an interdisciplinary scientist."

"So I see... Isn't this Kqidons-"
"Yes. Yes, she is. Her father still insists that she gets signed up to an elite crew class in a space fleet. I'd personally pick her as a crewmember."

"Duly noted... What the...? 'Species: Spectre'."
"It is not a practical joke, I assure you. This woman died at some point and came back as a ghost through anomalous means."

"I hope it is not... Hm. I like the sound of this man."
"Eurgh... I'm not too sure. He qualifies as an elite and has passed his military exam, but this Lux character is suspicious."

"I had spies trying to infiltrate my ship in the past. I am sure I can deal with him..."
"Hm... alright."
"I think I've made my decision."

Interesting... So if I'm reading this right, she never really wanted anyone besides the initial members of Talia, Hamele and whoever Xu'Orz is in her crew, but was threatened into it... Oh, if only that was the end of it (I am so sorry).

Sounds pretty good so far, though!

Also, since Talia Hamele, and Xu'Orz already knew each other at this point, are they friends I’m assuming? Or more like they tolerate each other?

Me? I've seen more active days here, I can tell you that. Holding up alright, but struggling to find stuff I may wanna hop into and the activity therein...

I've been taking some government classes so I can expand my knowledge to the various types of government there is. Thanks to that, I'm gonna make some changes to the types of governments that exist for my species sheets, as well as specifications on the type of government each species runs. For example:

  • The Humans' government is a representative democracy, where the legal citizens of the One-Earth Society vote on the members and leaders of their government (In this case, the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive branches).
  • The Freakazoids' government is (currently) an anocractic oligarchy, where the leading dictator of the Novus Libertas Regime stays in power until their death, while its legislative and judicial branches stay in power for a certain time, depending on their positions. The current dictatress, Wrauglo Kacvadua, has announced that she is making plans to democroize her country, so the anocracy may turn into a form of democracy soon.
