I like that! I think it would be more realistic than randomly having a child on board. Plus, it’ll give the team some more bonding time with her cause at first they think she’s defenseless. But then she’s not.

But yeah. I'm honestly unsure if I should change the other introductions of my other characters, maybe just change Hamele being in the first episode but is keeping to herself, IDK.

I personally think you should make her a little bit older; make her age sound like she's been in Susan's fleet long enough to know her captain.

Agree with everything y’all have said, except Wikipedia. It’s so bad. My class teacher automatically fails papers if Wikipedia is one of the sources, unless it’s used ironically or to disprove Wikipedia.
