Vex's breathing slowed into a steady rhythm, his lips parting loosely as he drifted off into sleep. Without warning, his body began to change due to the massive loss of energy, morphing down into a child-like form with the jumbled sounds of shifting bones. It got to the point where his body was that of a child, his head leaning against Mahiro's shoulder in his sleep.

Vex smiled in his sleep curling up against Mahiro. He was sleeping pretty soundly for a while until the sound of someone knocking on the door rang in his ears. His eyes shot open and he looked towards the door before crawling beneath the bed as the nurse opened it.
