"Oh thanks" she said smiling "um how did you have the money to get these?" She asjed knowing the games were expensive

Danny replied "Because uhh she did extra homework, and how did i afford these games? Lets just say mom is paying rent"

Mariah rolled her eyes, she didn't want to fight in front of the kids. "Just can you wait until after dinner" She held what she wanted to say until after the kids were asleep

"Thanks mom thanks dad " she said hugging them both in turn "need any help with dinner?" She asked trying to be helpful

"No just for everyone to sit and eat because no one wanted to wake up this morning and it's already 9:30 so everyone please let's just eat"

Yui laughred sitting diwn to eat "i wasent alseep i was just recharging my batteries " she joked

Danny asked " Honey can you get me a beer out the fridge for this tasty looking dinner"

Alexa waved at Yui, pausing momentarily to turn towards her with a smile on her lips. She was about to asked her something when their father had called out to Yui. She came and sat across from her family members as she nibbled on her dinner.


"Dinner is fantastic." She complimented the chef of the day as she dug in. She slightly frowned at the arguing on why Yui was considered the favorite. Everyone knew father favorited and made Yui special, but Alexa tried to not let it bother her. Yet, at times, it seemed to get on her nerves. But, she never let that jealousy come out and lash on Yui. She loved her to pieces.

Mariah giggled "whatever y'all was doing we wasn't on time." When she heard Danny ask for a drink she knew it would be a long night


"Yui get your dad a beer please"


Mariah looked over at Alexa. She knew that comment bothered her. Maybe she'd surprise her tomorrow since it was Friday and the last day until summer break. She deserved a treat. Nikki and Yui was Danny's favorites but Alexa was hers.

Yui ate quitly she hated people talking about her tryed to stay as in the shadows as she could but that was hard. Yui nodded getting up to get a beer for dad but a look in her eye made it seem like she would be watching hum closely now.

Alexis glanced over to her mother. She could feel her mother's pitiful eyes laying upon her. She shrugged silently with a smile lacing her lips together to let her know that she was pretending like the comment didn't affect her. She paused her eating as her father asked for a beer. She closed her eyes as flashbacks of him lashing out on the family came flowing behind her eyelids. She reopened them and resumed eating quickly. Maybe if she could finish her diner quickly enough, she wouldn't have to-.. But, then again, she had to protect her family if he did decide to go overboard. She started to eat at a slower pace.

Danny smiled, and said "Thank you honey, but can you get me 9 more beers?"" danny then drank his beer, and ate his food.

Nikki ate all of his food. Than,he said mom,dinner was delicious.

Yui's phone buzzed she quickly finished ger dinner ignoring her father asking for 9 more beers then thanked mom for the food and then rushed off

Danny sighed, and said "buzzing phone quickly rushing off i think she has a boyfriend" danny finished his beer, and food he then grabbed a beer out the fridge, and started drinking it.

Mariah gawked at Danny.


"Don't you think that's enough Hun?" She said placing a fake smile for the kids.


"Hey why don't y'all finish up and head to bed"

Danny yelled "ITS A FUCKING ENOUGH WHEN I SAY ITS ENOUGH!" danny said as he finished his beer he then grabbed another one, and started drinking it.

Yui in her room heard him shout still talking on the phone she walked to her bedroom door locking it she was talking to her penpal hinata from japan she hadent told anyone in the family about him cuz she dident know how,d they react

Alexa quickly gobbled her good down before grabbing Nikki by the arm and dragging both of them upstairs. She pounder on Yui's door.


"Yui open up! We need to go into my bedroom! Now!" She yelled as their father started yelling some more. She felt terror grip her sides and she subconsciously tightened her hand around Nikki'so arm.

Mariah quickly gathered the dishes putting them in the sink

Nikki tells Alexa,thank you for bringing me upstairs,sis,I hate it,when mom and dad argue.

Yui says she has to go before hanging up and opening the door " are we leaving? "

"It's okay, guys. We aren't leaving. We're just going into my bedroom, okay? It'll be more safe there. Think of it like a sleep over." She faked a smile and put on her brave face for her siblings. She took an arm of Yui and dragged them into her room. She released them to lock the door behind okay. She ushered them over to her queen sized bed.

"Will mom be okay?" asked a concernd yui sfter sitting on her bed

DANNY YELLED "OKAY FINE IF YOU WANT ME TO STOP DRINKING THIS BOTTLE WELL TAKE IT!" Danny throws the beer bottle at Mariah
