The bottle hit her thigh and cut her leg as she tried to move away. Tears started to fall down her cheek. She ran upstairs to her room and grabbed a couple suitcases leaving Danny to get drunk and hopefully pass out. After packing a few outfits Mariah quietly knocked on Alexa's door


"It's mom open up quickly"

Danny grabbed another beer out the fridge he then started drinking it.

"Mommy will be okay, sugar." Alexa kissed her head. She heard their mother's voice on the other side of the door and quickly got up and unlocked it. She gasped as blood ran down her leg.


"Mommy!" Alexa quickly pulled her inside, hugging her mom tightly. "What happened?"

"It's okay. Babies. Alexa I need you to listen closely " Mariah grabbed her daughters face


"You and your brother and sister pack as much as you can right now. Okay? Right now" She held a couple bags and a small suit case in her hand

Arcus ran downstairs to see what happened. When he saw his dad and the broken bear bottle he ran to find mom. As he rounded the corner to his sister room he saw mom with blood on her leg. "Mom is everything alright??" Arcus asked as he hugged mom and wiped the sleepiness out of his eyes.
