Realistic or Modern Family roleplay

"Hm sounds nice." Mariah starts to unpack the groceries leaving out the items that she's going to use for dinner.


"Hey can you get the kids washed up for dinner please, it's a school night and no one wanted to get up this morning for school"
 
Mariah took out some chicken to bake, made some string beans and mashed potatoes.


She turned the radio on washed her hands and started to cook
 
Nikki goes and washes his hands. Than,he says,mom to you need me to help you cook dinner.

Mariah Smiled at Nikki


"Sure Love. How about stir the mashed potatoes for mommy and put a little seasoning in it, not too much though."
 
OK,mom,said Nikki. Than,he stirred the mashed potatoes,and he put a little seasoning in it.
 
Alexa pounded down the stairs with happiness as her parents came into view.


"Hey, mom!" She exclaimed before throwing her arms around her mother and kissing her on the cheek.


"Hello, dad." She spoke a little less enthusiastic before embracing her father.


"What did you get for your wonder kids?" She teased him with a friendly manner. She slightly peeked into the bags with curiosity.
 
Mariah hugged her daughter back loving the attention she gets from her daughter


"Hey Kitty how are you hun? You hungry? I know your probably tired from work as well"


She kissed her forehead.
 
Alexa grinned as she walked over to Nikki and jokingly lifted his arm to her mouth while saying, "I'm starving! I could probably eat Nikki right now!" She released his arm and ruffled his hair playfully.


"How was work for you guys? It was a slow day at the diner tonight." She turned towards her parents.
 
Alexa hugged her brother before chewing on her bottom lip nervously. "I got most of the house clean. All I have to do is clean the windows. I'll go do that right now while we wait for dinner to finish." She hefted herself up quickly before dashing off into a nearby bathroom for the cleaning supplies. She returned with windex in one hand and paper towel in the other. She spritz the large window in the living room before wiping it clean of dust particles with a paper towel. She continued cleaning the windows throughout the house.
 
Danny sits down at the table with nikki, and says "So nikki have you made any friends yet?"

" No need to yell Danny." Mariah walked over to the table placing everyone's plates in front of them and a pitcher of water and lemonade along with some glasses. "Come on Kitty, you can do that after dinner. Come eat first please"
 
Danny smiled, and said "Yui my favourite child... i mean second favourite i got you a gift" danny gave her a bag full of video games.
 
Mariah looked over at Danny "How come you didn't ask if she did her chores today?" Mariah knew Yui was his favorite she always had been , They were just alike in so many ways.
