Fallen: Friends or foes?

Aki smiled. "Lemonade is a bit sour but sweet. All of this stuff is pasta. It's grainy but kind of pasty. They taste good as well. I am going to get plain with garlic bread and butter on top. You can chose whatever you want."

 

[Grimmneko]

"Oh" Chez looked back down at the menu, looking mostly at the pictures. He found something that looked like it might taste good and pointed at it. "Can I get this?"

 

[IceQueen]

Aki nodded. "Now we wait until the waiter comes back." She said. As she said this the waiter came back. "I will have plain spaghetti with butter." The water nodded. He looked at Chez. "What would you like?" He asked.

Chez waited as Akira took her order then looked up at the waiter. "I'll have this." He told him, pointing at a picture on the menu. He wasn't quite sure what it was or if it was good, but he wanted to try something.

 

[IceQueen]

The waiter nodded and went to give the order to the kitchen. Aki smiled and giggled a bit. "That is how you use a menu."

"Ingenious." He whispered, watching the man walk towards the source of the good smells in the building. Even the simplest things here seemed to amaze him. "It really is outstanding what humans have taught themselves to do." He spoke as if he hadn't expected as much from them.

 

[IceQueen]

Aki smiled. "Not that amazing. We build cellphones and things, but those are to connect us to people that are far away." She said.

 

[Grimmneko]

Chez smiled. "Oh yes. I've seen those as well. You're all always on those. Very talkative. It's nice. HUmans have done many amazing things. Maybe not all so great, but still impressive."

 

[IceQueen]

Aki giggled and took a long sip of her lemonade. There were so many things he hadn't experienced yet, and she hadn't either. That's why she liked traveling.

Chez watched her and looked down at his own drink. "Lemonade..." He let the word roll off his tongue as he picked up the drink and took a sip. His face wrinkled up at the taste and he put the cup down. "That's... That's an interesting taste."

 

[IceQueen]

Aki smiled. "I like it." She said, taking another long sip.

 

[Grimmneko]

Chez took one more sip, just to try it but shook his head. "No. No, I don't like it." He scoot the cup away from himself. At least he tried it.

Aki smiled. 'Well then, more for me." She said, taking a drink of his.

Chez let her take his drink, getting distracted by everything around him instead. The food didn't take too long and soon it was being set in front of them. He looked down at the bowl of pasta in front of him curiously.

Aki smiled and took her fork, twirling it in the pasta before eating it off her fork.

 

[Grimmneko]

Chez watched Akira for a moment before picking up his own fork. He picked up some pasta with it, took a bite, and slurped up the noodles. He grinned, licking his lips. "Oh. That's really good!"

 

[IceQueen]

Aki smiled. "See? Not all things are bitter."

 

[Grimmneko]

Chez nodded. "Yes. This is much better." He happily continued eating, slurping up all his noodles.

Aki giggled and finished her plate, leaning back. She sighed, her stomach full.

 

[Grimmneko]

Chez finished as well, licking his lips and looking more than happy. "I don't think I've eaten that much at once. I'd be called a glutton for doing such."

 

[IceQueen]

Aki smiled. "Yeah, but I don't care."

 

[Grimmneko]

"Ah, but humans eat this much all the time. It's good. I don't really have to eat, and usually I don't." He glanced around again. "Do we leave now?"

 

[IceQueen]

Aki shook her head. "The waiter comes with the bill, we pay, then leave."

 

[Grimmneko]

"Oh. So, we wait." He sat still, waiting with his hands in his lap.

Aki nodded, leaning back into the booth. Soon, the waiter came, depositing the check. Aki signed and got up. "We can go now
