Fantasy Faereach City of Magicks (Now Accepting)

Rex began exploring the undergrowth of the Emerald Enclave, trying to retrace his steps towards where he first woke up. Of course, he wasn't entirely sure, but knew that it was somewhere near water. He eventually found the edge of a waterfall, but wasn't sure if it was it. Walking along the edge, Rex paused and crouched, picking up a metal star "Odd"

Crimson pet Zedd sticks his head out Crimson's jacket and breaths crimson energy out his mouth forming a energy barrier protecting them from the Annihilation Cannon.

When the chains came Crimson grabbed Mizuki disappearing leaving a Rage energy grenade to destroy the chains. The grenade explodes and Crimson and Mizuki appears a couple of feet away from Kandra. @Metaphysics

Crimson held out his hand absorbing the rage hidden within the bloodfire. He used the energy to energizing his fist. He jumps into the air, behind Kandra. Hitsu the same thing like last time. He blast Kandra with Crimson rage energy hoping Hitsu knows what to do. @Metaphysics

Kazuhiro Tomioka Kazuhiro flinched for a second from the sudden force on his injuries and wrapped his arms around the crying Ryd. Sitting there in silence for a few moments he chuckled. "No need to thank me. Your trust is thanks enough Ryd." Kazuhiro sat in silence holding Ryd and letting her cry as he stared forward. Make it home Mizuki... the family still needs you.

Mizuki Gensai Grunting at Crimson's sudden heroic action she glared at him, "Thanks but you don't need to risk your hide for me, you idiot!" Turning to Hitsugya she snarled but listened to him anyway and dragged Crimson with her into a shadowy mess she summoned. "Make it out alive Hitsu... or I'll bring you back and kill you myself." Throwing Crimson through the portal and grabbing his little pet she threw him in too before walking in with her scythe. "Also Kandra. One day we'll have a fair fight... because the next time will be on my turf." Without waiting for a response she walked through the portal and disappeared from sight. Appearing on the other side they were at Paragon square. "Get your ass moving kid, we gotta get somewhere I can defend unless your dumb enough to think you can take care of him on your own. I know you've been feeding off of rage energy. Therefore you're gonna love being around me for the next couple of weeks." Without waiting she walked forward toward Kazuhiro's apartment. "I could tell because nobody can pull of magic that strong in this town excluding my family, and Enania."

(Zedd was still with inside Crimson's jacket)

Crimson was pushed inside a portal after coming out a shadowy mess. He exits the portal and is now at Paragon Square. Crimson smiles as the girl speaks about rage ignoreing all the outburst of insults up until now. We just might. He says with a smirk. So what's your name? He asked while following her. @Kihara017

Rex paused, hearing movement in the undergrowth, so he ducked behind a bush. Perhaps it was just some wild animal, but the animals here were wild at an entirely new level. After it passed, he stood up again and and looked out at the waterfall, seeing something floating in the water. Rex gave an uneasy look at the water, not sure if it would be infested by underwater terrors or not, and decided to risk it. Taking off his trench coat, Rex jumped in and swam towards the duffle bag.

Malorn Drakanos Malorn sighed at Heidts' comment of more money. He was partially tempted to punch him, just to get that smug look off of his face, he wondered if the severe burns from doing so would be worth the effort. Eventually he decided on no. "Heidt. You realize..nevermind you don't care either way." Malorn told him. If it weren't for the fact this was actually important I'd tell him to fuck off at this point.. he thought to himself, sighing and taking a fifty out of his wallet and holding it out to Heidt before holding it in the air slightly like a treat for a dog. "This is it, Heidt. Tell us everything we should know about this guy that you know." He demanded before lowering the bill back to a normal level.

@Halohbottech

Okay, now he was just pushing his luck. Falin's crimson eyes narrowed at the man. She was about ready to just deck him for trying to get more money out of them. But knowing her luck, she'd just end up breaking his jaw and knocking his ass out. Not that doing so wouldn't have been satisfying...

But no, once again Malorn just gave in and offered some more to Heidt. Though watching him tease the man with it was plenty amusing. She nodded at Malorn's statement, half tempted to add a threat of her own on top of it.

Ikari

Ikari was shock to see such power coming from the guy and knew he couldn’t take on both of them. He made a very unpleased face, not liking that he had lost this battle.” Looks like you made the stronger ally brother, but don’t worry I lost this battle but not the war. From this moment on I won’t be trying to kill you but I will make your life so miserable you’ll be begging for death” he said with a evil smirk. He knew he caused serious damage to his brother, plus that poison should affect him for another 2 hour. Ikari had to take the lost but he did cause some serious damage none the less so he forfeits.

“I forfeit, don’t worry I know when I’m beat, should of known better then to team up with such a weak and useless girl” he snickered. He then created a very thick smoke screen in order to make his escape out of the building, to recollect himself. He moved with super speed making sure to leave no trail. This was not what he expected when he decided to look for his brother and kill him. He sighed looks like he will have to actually come up with a plan to take him out. On the bright side he did turn one of his friends against him, cause a large amount of pain and burned his house down. Not a bad first step in kill and torturing his brother.

He breaks in to an abandon home and decide this is where he will stay from now on. He will just have to lay low and stalk his prey until he finds the prefect time to strike. He will sit back and study them, gather as much information as he can before he kills them both. He smiles with an evil grin on his face and thinking about how brilliant he is.

Vix

Vix couldn’t believe that his brother and himself cause all of this destruction and pain. He looked around the building and then his eyes fixed themselves on mykky and Frillz. He tried his best to hobble over to the both of them as fast as he could. Each step was like being stab in the gut over and over again, the pain was something that he wasn’t sure he could handle.

He reached the both of them after the struggle of walking across the room and said “I’m so sorry that this had to happen to you. You guys didn’t deserve this and it my fault, for befriending you.” After that he use all the energy he could muster to begin a healing spell. “I’m sorry to you too melchio, looks like those people were right about foxes bring nothing but bad luck. I want to take your mind off of all the negative things but instead I made you strike down your best-friend and involved you in a fight.” He said nearly to the point of tears

He finished his healing spell but used to much energy in the process, plus he body was going into shock because of all the pain it was feeling. He vision got blurry and he hardly could stand up. that when he fell to the floor unconscious. @Halohbottech (just got off work so this might be a mess lol)

She giggled a little bit, taking his hand in hers just to have that familiar feeling back.
"I told you I look better when I've had a shower." She teased gently, leaning into him a little bit. She blushed a little bit, turning a light pink at his next question, or more appropriately the statement after it. A...date. Did he...? She giggles a bit to hide her embarrassment and presses her face against his side, huffing a bit.

"If this is your way of asking me out, Falcon, I think we need to work on your people skills a bit more." She looked up at him then and gave a half-smirk, giving his hand a squeeze before running her free hand through her still-damp hair. She was only teasing of course- if anyone looked close enough, they could probably see her practically vibrating with excitement right now.

"But...yes. I would love to go see a movie. But you're pickin and you're buyin since I dont know a dammed thing about the culture of this world." She fell into another fit of giggles before looping her other arm around Falcon's mid-section, giving him a tight hug and nuzzling into his chest a little bit.

"I won't let anything happen to you, Falcon," she began softly, speaking quietly so that only he would be able to hear her, "I promise. You promised to always be here for me, so my promise in return is to make sure nothing happens to you because you can't very well accomplish that promise if you're...dead." She struggled to say the word, finding it hard to say it out loud since the very thought itself practically sent shivers down her spine. She would stick to her word and make sure no harm came to this being, even if it was the last thing she ever did. She let go, keeping her fingers locked with his as she started to make her way to where she remembered there being a cinema of some sorts.

Heidt grinned, waiting patiently for Malorn to lower the cash to his level so he could snatch it away. A crisp fifty dollar bill. He could've hoped for more, but he knew Malorn pretty well, so he thought. This was good enough for just a little info. Many would call him prideless, and they'd be half-right. When it came to money, he was willing to sink pretty low to acquire it, and couldn't care less if he were treated like a dog, so long as he got his compensation (and the compensation were good). Plus, he thought of Malorn as a pal, so any money he got from him was good money. Chuckling, he pocketed his well made five hundred and fifty dollars, and cracked his neck whilst stretching an arm to the sky.

"Thank you good man! Demon. Whatever. So, about Hitsugya, some things you should know-" His grin persisted, though he seemed a bit nervous to talk about the guy behind his back. Heidt, while being cocky and conniving, was a notoriously superstitious, constantly checking behind dark corners and behind his back, especially when talking about supernatural beings behind their backs. "-are of course where he lives- here's the address-" He handed both of them slips of paper with Hitsugya's address on them. "-his age, weight (muscles bruh) and of course, how powerful he is. And, let me say this-" He chuckled darkly, shaking his head. "-he's one hell of a powerhouse. If it weren't for Aurum and Argyrus here, I'd never stand a chance against him."

"Starting off with the physical traits, he's decently tall, and has a lean, yet muscular build- similar to Bruce Lee's except... taller. So, he has a little more reach than the martial artist. Along with this, he's exceptionally well trained in physical combat, and has wings, so he has the flight advantage and gets a little more speed and maneuverability in the air- like all flying enemies. Take out his wings- take out his biggest advantage over you." He sighed, letting out a long breath laced with smoke. He took a few seconds to get his breath back before he continued. "Also, uh, age- age... his age...? He's... oh yeah he's 18. Despite the power I'm about to describe to you, one thing you should know about the guy: he's pretty good about avoiding conflict. Mostly, the fight comes to him, if you catch my drift. He doesn't go lookin' for a fight- he reminds me'ah you in that way, Malorn." He gave the Grand Demon a cheeky grin, before continuing on.

"Now, about his powers- he doesn't have many, but don't let that foolsya. He's incredibly strong. Saw him take on 'bout five demons whilst holding back and all he suffered was a lil' flesh wound. Mindja they were just Minor Demons- not even Daemons- but still. Doubt I could take 5 at a time and still be able to stand. Ignore the innuendo in that." He took another puff before continuing. "Now, 'bout his powers: from what I saw here, he can cast an' control black lightnin' and black fire. Extremely dangerous. If either of ya's don't know how the heat spectrum works, I'll's explain it to ya. Red=cold. White=hot. Purple=hotter. Black=hottest." He gave them a serious look hidden behind a grinning mask. "If ya aren't protected against magic in a major way, getting caught in that fire means fourth or even fifth degree burns bucko. Same thing with the lightning, 'cept it can stop your heart, permanently paralyze you, or cause major spinal/nervous system/or brain damage." He took one final puff, before tossing the cigarette to the ground and stomping it out. "So yeah, the guy's dangerous. Also, it seems like he has 'dis, ah, berserk, or somethin' where his powers become twice as strong. Roughly. Iunno. Anyways, watch out for that. Now what, oh leader Malorn?" He inquired, sarcasm dripping from his voice.

Melchio

"Don't call me friends weak or useless!" Melchio roared, anger flaring through him. Coating his blade in ice, he shot forward, preparing to cut Ikari in half, until he got a face full of smoke, causing him to cough and hack, stumbling back stunned. When he came to his senses, the smoke'd cleared, and Ikari was gone, which caused him to sigh in contempt for the being. That's when he realized Vix was gone too. Whipping his head around in worry, he searched for what felt like an eternity until he spotted his love, bent over Mykky bleeding out, yet still trying to help. Tossing his polearm aside, Melchio sprinted to Vix's side as he collapsed, catching his head in his lap.

"No! No, Vix hold on! Please!" Pulling Vix's head to his chest, Melchio hugged him tight, tears welling up in the corners of his eyes, afraid that his Vix would leave his world. That's when he saw a stirring figure- Frillz. The monster stood, shaking itself loose of dust and soot, before noticing Melciho, and hissing a hello to him. Melchio was surprised by the hospitality, but still held Vix tight. He couldn't carry Mykky and Vix- he was too tired from the fight earlier and his stunt here. Frillz seemed to recognize this, and showing intelligence well outside his species normal ability, picked up Mykky, and gestured for Melchio to lead the way. Tears still on the brink of falling, Melchio nodded to Frillz thankfully, before running to a young woman passing by. After a short exchange, she explained where the nearest hospital was, and like a bullet, Melchio took off, his wings blasting him from the ground, and sending him in the direction she pointed. Frillz sprinted after him.

"Just hold on Vix- please for the love all that is HOLY hold on...!" He whispered, eyes frantically searching the ground for any sign of a hospital, but for some time, to no avail, finding nothing. After half an hour of searching, he finally saw what he was looking for, and smashed to the ground before racing in, his shirt soaked with Vix's blood, and his eyes and cheeks wet with tears. Vix was getting extremely pale at this point, and was as white as paper.

"Please! Someone, help us! V-Vix, he's bleeding to death!"

- - - - -

Some time had passed since Melchio had brought Vix to the hospital, and while he'd been bandaged up, the ER was too full for the doctors to preform any extensive work on him. All they knew was there was some internal bleeding, and they'd done their best to patch Vix up. Mykky rested in the bed next to Vix's, and was suffering from burns covering a fair amount of her body and a concussion that refused to leave. The doctor's said that Vix could recover, but it'd be difficult for the kitsune, especially since they were going to have to preform surgery on him, in order to fix up that internal bleeding issue for good.

"..." Melchio sat silently, hoping and not hoping that Vix'd wake up. He was better asleep- he wouldn't be in pain if he were asleep- but he wanted him awake, so they could talk. So Melchio could tell him that he wasn't annoying, that he wasn't bad luck- after all, if it weren't for him, Mykky wouldn't be alive, and he'd still be passed out, possibly dying, thanks to that last confrontation with Falcon. He'd tell him that he was never a nuisance to him, and that he was sorry he hadn't noticed his brother sooner, after all, it was his job to slay demons. "...Melchio you idiot..." He whispered, burying his face in his hands, eyes jammed shut, tears welling up again. "Why didn't you notice that damn demon coming...? Why weren't you doing your job?! *sniff* I-if you'd have just done y-your damn job, this never would've happened!" He sobbed, shaking his head, at this point, his tears fell freely, running through his hands and dripping to the floor. He wanted to destroy everything, just obliterate the city in his VANGUARD mode, leaving nothing behind except Vix. That was his warrior instincts speaking- seek revenge, seek revenge, seek revenge. He couldn't heal. He could only harm. Oh, why couldn't he have been the son of a priestess?!

Frillz, however, was not so sad. Sure, he wasn't happy, but he sat silently, observing all that went down. He rested a hand on Melchio's back, while still watching Mykky. He was... disappointed in his mistress. She paid the price she deserved, however, and hopefully would learn from this. If not... then that was her own fault.

"...Thanks Frillz." Melchio muttered, his voice muffled by his hands, which were still plastered to his face. He'd give an arm and a leg- hell, his life- to hear Vix's voice again. He'd do anything- he just wouldn't give up Vix. He needed that damn Kitsune in his life! Not in the afterlife!

Falcon

Falcon huffed, his embarrassment clearly showing on his face. "Rude." He didn't bother saying anything else, mostly because of the small smile growing on his face at Nyr's goofy smile. "Yeah, okay. That's cool with me. But no cheesy romance films. Those things're the opposite of realistic, and I don't want you thinking that's how this world's society works, got i-it?" He stuttered, surprised by her sudden display of affection. He wasn't used to getting hugs, or being leaned upon so much. He smiled softly, carefully running his hand through her hair, careful not to tug any hair or cut it with his nails. Was this what it felt like... to be a normal couple? Just... walking. Talking. Laughing. Promising... that's the word he'd used to describe how he felt about their relationship. It wasn't like him to be optimistic, but maybe... just this once... he'd think positively.

His smile faded a little, as she mentioned death. If he were dead...? He didn't think she'd do anything too drastic if he died... but the fear of what she could do sent a wave of metaphorical goosebumps down Falcon's arms. He let himself be led for a few minutes, before taking the lead himself, and making sure they walked at a steady, yet quick pace. They had no idea what movie they'd see, so there was no rush. Walking in silence let him think a little more. He thought about quite a bit, most of it returning to that word he knew so well- death. And, on that way to the theater, he nodded to himself, a sign of resolution. He'd listened, but now, it was time for him to speak. Clearing his throat, without any warning, he began a tale, and he'd let Nyr think of it as she wished.

"Once upon a time... a long, long time ago... in a long forgotten land... there lived a young man.

He was neither extremely handsome, nor was he extremely ugly.

He was... he was average. Extremely so.

He lived a decent life, with many people all living in one house. They were so close, that, despite not being related by blood...

They called themselves a family. Brothers. Sisters.

The young man was an outsider for some time to this treatment, and kept mostly to himself.

At times, he'd look up at the sky, the moon, and wonder why he'd been adopted into this life- this family- so willingly.

All these people were so special. So amazing. So extraordinary.

He was so average.

Despite this, there was one young man, one young man who could see through his average-ness.

Every night that he'd stare at the moon, the brother would sit there with him, wondering what the young man saw in the moon that he couldn't.

He'd ask questions.

The young man would reluctantly answer, and each time, be embarrassed by the older brother's laugh.

"Hey! You said you wouldn't laugh this time!"

"Haha! I-I'm sorry! It's... It's just too funny!"

Sometimes, he'd remind the young man of his past.

"...Hey, do you remember?"

"Remember? What?"

"The day we first met dummy! When I found you out in the snow!"

"...What's so special about that?"

"...Iunno. I just figured I'd ask. Every day, that memory gets a little more and more faded..."

"So why ask me?"

"So that way you don't forget like I am! I want you to remember all the good in your life, okay? Promise me!"

"...Fine. I'll promise you that much. I don't make promises often, but I'll promise you that."

"I'll hold you to it!"

Time went on like this for some time, and eventually, the young man accepted the family as his own.

Many days were spent laughing and having fun.

Just as many were spent in tears and frustration.

But everyday was memorable, and the young man loved that.

Despite being so much less than those around him...

He no longer felt... average.

Of course, life is never that sweet.

Never that innocent.

One day, the young man received a message from his father- his birth father.

It told him that he was going to die a terrible, painful death unless he killed everyone he loved.

The young man was naive, and thinking that his father was some great, powerful force, believed him.

He cried many a night, and on those nights, he'd never let his brother see him.

"..."

"Hey... bro?"

"..."

"...Can I come up? Please? I just want-"

"
Go away..."

"Okay. But, if you want to talk, I'll be right he-"

"Go away!"

"..."

"..."

"...Fine."

It took a month. A month for the young man to break.

To give in to his fear.

So... with a heavy heart, and heavier tears in his eyes, he committed the deed.

Every soul in that house besides his own he slaughtered. He tore into them like a ravenous beast.

But...

It wasn't enough.

His father... his father was greedy.

He said his son needed more souls. More blood on his hand to live.

So he went to his brother's village, and slaughtered every being there.

So there he stood... with their blood on his hands.

He realized then.

He lived a life worse than death.

However, he did not do his job the best he could.

For... one soul remained in the world he'd destroyed: his brother's.

And... upon the Cliffs of Byorgs, they met once more.

They fought.

Many hours past.

Two days.

And then it happened.

The brother was killed.

The young man was pained, with blades having been stabbed into him many a time.

But he'd won. A blade through the brother's stomach, and he'd won.

Or so he thought.

When he reached the cliff edge, he felt arms around his torso.

It was his brother.

And together, they fell.

And fell.

And fell.

Until they could fall no more.

And the young man died."

- - - - -

"Every time I think of that story, I'm reminded of death. I've been told this story a thousand times now. Once a year, every year, I'm told this story. On one, particularly painful day, I'm told this story. And... I'm unable to forget it. I've been told it so many times that I have it memorized, and I couldn't forget it, even if I tried." He stared calmly ahead, his eyes reflecting no pain, yet still being somber.

"After telling this story so many times, after being told this story so many times... you begin to put yourself in the young man's shoes. You begin to see things from his perspective. You begin to understand what he thought of death, and why he'd kill so many people that didn't deserve it. You begin to think like him. Talk like him. Look like him, even, though this is on the inside, of course." He grinned, though no humor was in that smile, and ran his hand through his own hair. "And it makes you very, very sad."

He stayed quiet, for just a moment, before looking at Nyr dearly, and pulling her just a bit closer. "But... you want to know what I learned? What I've come to understand? That... if we fear death... or fear what comes after it, that we truly become like the young man in the story. So... I stopped fearing death. It doesn't meant I embrace it- no, this life has some good in it, after all- it just means I don't fear it. Fear gives way to paranoia. Paranoia... paranoia gives way to madness." Pulling Nyr into a full hug, he rested his chin on her hair, relishing it, despite it being wet. "So... don't be afraid of death. Don't be afraid of me dying. Mostly because I'm too strong for that. You're too strong for that. But also... because it'll drive you crazy. Okay?" He smiled, holding her out at arms length, and cocking an eyebrow. While he had told the story, they'd reached the movies. His look asked Nyr if she wanted to go in, or if she wanted to talk a little more.

Vix

It was a strange experience for Vix at the moment. He didn’t feel himself dead but at the same time he wasn’t alive, and conscious. Well whatever he was at the moment was super boring, there was no excitement and there was no fun. He sighed with a frown on his face, he had to make a choose now, he either could just die or he could go back and live. He knew if he chose to live, that he will be in an incredible amount of pain. He sighed he was never good at making life changing decides like this. He knew it wasn’t much of chose, he still had promises he had to keep, debts to collect and melchio to go to. He sighed knowing this isn’t going to be a fun trip back to his body.

Vix created a small little flame of blue fox fire and used it to guide his way back to his body. He started walking what felt like an entity when he started to feel pain. He knew he was getting close when the pain got more intense. He yelled out “shit if this what the trip back to the living is like. I don’t want to know what I will feel when I come to.” The closer he got, the harder it was to stay standing. He dropped to his knees and began to crawl to his body that was now in sight of him. Just keeping moving he told him in his head. He was right there, all he needed to do was reach his body and he could heal himself. He let out his tear of joy when he final made it to his body and next thing he knew he was opening his eyes.

When he came to he let out a scream of shear pain. “Fuck! What wrong with you doctors, can’t you even properly heal someone or numb their pain at least!” he began to yell at everyone coming into the room. This was not what he wanted when he woke up, for fuck sake it was there job to help those in pain and they couldn’t even do that. He was feeling panic because he didn’t see anyone he knew. That is when he started to yell for Melchio. “Melchio! Melchio! Where are you?! “he need something to comfort him in this terrible time and that was all he asked for. @Halohbottech

With the bag under his arm, Rex awkwerdly swam back towards shore, glad to get away from the mysterious water. As soon as he got back on land, he shook some of the water out of his hair, soaking wet. This had better be worth it, but the mysterious bag could have Anything in it. There was only one way of knowing, he set it on the ground and crouched in front of it. Grabbing the zipper, he carefully opened it, then stared inside. "Surprise!" a creepy voice spoke suddenly.

$Heidt$

Same thing with the lightning, 'cept it can stop your heart, permanently paralyze you, or cause major spinal/nervous system/or brain damage." You begin to understand what he thought of death, and why he'd kill so many people that didn't deserve it.

Nyr was a bit shocked at his sudden affection, but she wasn't about to question it. She just smiled up at him, nudging him gently.

"Of course I'm gonna worry about you dying. It won't drive me crazy, but it'll always be there in the back of my mind." She giggled softly before leading him into the cinema. "It's a natural instinct when you care about someone enough- you worry about their well-being and whether or not they'll be okay. The people of my tribe are very family-oriented, so the women will sit vigilance while their husbands or sons or brothers or fathers go out hunting or to protect our boarders. It's what I was raised on, so it's what I'm going to do." She giggled a bit, leaning against him and nuzzling into him a little bit.

"I want a Dr. Pepper, by the way. And some popcorn." She smiles, squeezing his hand a little bit before looking up at the movie board. None of the titles sounded remotely familiar to her, and she sighed a bit, shaking her head.

"None of these sound vaguely familiar. Or anything." She giggled a bit, looking up at him. "Do you know what any of these are?" She tilted her head, looking up at him again. She wasn't sure if he was any more familiar with this world's culture than she was, but one could hope. She ran her free hand through her hair, mussing it up a little bit. She felt like such an outsider in this world, it was almost uncomfortable. She figured it could be worse, however. At least she understood what was being said and what most things were. She wasn't thrown in completely blind.

Melchio

The instant he heard Vix yelling, Melchio leapt to his feet outside the room. He saw doctors rushing in and out of the Kitsune's room, and figured something had gone wrong. Panic written all over his face, he sprinted forward, trying to force his way into the room, only to have a wall of doctors get in his way. "Dangit, move- move! I want to see him!" They didn't want to let him in, as they were trying to administer morphine to the roaring fox, but he forced his way in, shoving the doctors aside.

"Vix, Vix!" He cried, grabbing his hand. "Calm down already- I'm right here, no need to yell! I mean, yeah you're probably most definitely in a ton of pain, but there's no need to go giving me another heart attack!" He scolded him, but it was clear to anyone that he was brimming with happiness to finally see his Vix awake. He'd feared for the worst for some time, and was so glad to see Vix was awake. The doctor's sidled in one by one, warily eyeing the Kitsune and winged man holding his hand. He shot them a warning glance that told them to back off until he called them over, and they obliged, staying away from them. Melchio glanced back at Vix, tears in the corners of his eyes.

"Oh, Vix, I'm so glad you're okay! I thought you'd died back there- I mean, you collapsed and I kept calling your name but you just wouldn't get up!" He rested his forehead against Vix's knuckle, trying to conceal the tears that were begging to fall from his eyes. "A-and then the doctors- the doctors couldn't operate or administer any morphine because they were dealing with some more patients from an accident at a skyscraper or some sort- it was just awful!" By now, he was looking at Vix again, his eyes watery and red from long, uninterrupted crying over the unconscious fox. "Please tell me you're okay- even if its a lie! I don't want to have to keep worrying, Vix! You're too precious to me to lose, so please tell me you're okay!"

Falcon

Family. That word still sent shivers down Falcon's back. He wasn't ready for another family. He wasn't sure he'd ever be ready for another family. Brothers. Sisters. All these words with pain attached to them, they made Falcon visibly wince. He wasn't ready for a family yet. He might never be ready again. But... if Nyr wanted one... then he'd oblige. Even at his own expense. After all, what is a relationship if it isn't sacrifice? He chuckled, embarrassed as she nuzzled him affectionately, his ear lighting up again. He'd need to get the other one fixed, he was sure Nyr'd be up to it. She did mention she was a proficient healer, after all. He was still nervous about her powers- it looked an awful lot like magic- but he'd have to trust that she knew what she was doing.

Falcon frowned some, as he looked at the titles. It slowly became more and more obvious that he had no idea what he was looking at. He tried to cover it up by looking like he was comparing which movies were better in comparison to the others... but it was painfully obvious that he had no idea what the hell he was doing. He let out a frustrated sigh, looking back and forth between the titles, trying to find something- anything he liked. Damnit! Why couldn't they just order them into categories?! Horror films in this row, action here, romance here- it'd make his life so much easier! Finally, he saw a movie he recognized: Epitome. He'd heard about it when he was stalking a pair of girls he'd later make his prey a few nights ago. Apparently it was about a group of humans who discover a new world and use these machines to try and learn more about the sentient creatures there. He'd heard it was top notch, and that it had some of the best CGI that the movie industry had ever seen!

...Whatever the hell that meant had to be good. Plus, it was directed by Bichael May, so it was bound to be eye-grabbing. He pointed to the name of the only movie on the list he recognized. "How about we go see that one. I heard Epitome's pretty good." It was kind of a rhetorical question given that Nyr probably wouldn't have cared enough about this world's movies to learn about Epitome, but given all the buzz about it, maybe she knew. Either way, he stepped up, bought their tickets, and head to the concession stand, leading Nyr by the hand. As they got in line, he glanced back at Nyr, looking her up and down. "...I have no idea what size I should get you, I'll be honest. Large, medium, or small?" He was just going to get some water and maybe some Skittles, so there was no need for him to specify. He was bland- he knew that- but given how his body worked, he wasn't going to try anything too new.

Rex opened his eyes, a little dizzy. As soon as he could think, he blinked in disbelief. Had this happened again? But this time, there was no amnesia, atleast no Major amnesia. He sat up and rubbed his head, growing more annoyed, how did he lose consciousness? The last thing he remembered was recovering the dufflebag. The dufflebag. He looked around, not seeing it anywhere. "Goddamnit!" he muttered irritably, standing up and leaning against a tree. Now came the second surprise, he was no longer in the Emerald Enclave, but was in the Blossoming Grasslands. "Somebody's throwin' me for a loop!" he muttered, checking to see if anything was missing in his pockets, finding it was all like normal.

((Bichael May xD I'm dyin))

Nyr smiled up at him and nodded. "Sounds good to me." Even though she had no idea what that movie was or what it was even about. The definition that came to mind of the word didn't seem like it'd be anything exciting for the movie. An epitome of what? She shrugged to herself and glanced at the sizes.

"Might as well get me a large. I can eat a lot more than you think. Months of long, harsh winters taught me how to stock up." She giggled, waiting until they had their respective concession items before heading to the theater they were directed to. She was surprised to find most of the seats taken, and she gave a nervous glance at Falcon before leading him to some seats that were mostly by themselves in the way back. She wasn't used to big crowds like this, and she figured Falcon wasn't going to be to fond of them either. She takes her seat anyways and was a bit thankful that the chairs surrounding them were mostly empty. She set her drink in the cup holder next to her and took a handful of popcorn, eating it. She loved the way it tasted, and almost upended the bag right then and there. But she didnt. She would be a little more civil just for the sake of Falcon.

As the previews started, Nyr slipped her free hand into Falcon's, attention still on the screen. She didn't know why, but she never quite felt complete without his hand in hers any more. It was like an urge that she didn't really feel the need to suppress. It wasn't harmful, in fact it was quite common for the various couples she used to pass by when she was roaming the streets. She smiled a little to herself, eating another handful of popcorn and chasing it down with a sip of her soda.

Kandra Bal Magna

Kandra scoffed at the girl as she left. "You can try. And you will watch as I tear away at your heart until you are a mere powerless husk." He said as the stoned that flew out slowly put themselves back together and reformed the portion of the castle they were on. "Haruko, how well could you infiltrate Faereach as someone else?" He called out as he walked to this vault.
