Fantasy Faereach City of Magicks (Now Accepting)

@Halohbottech (I just now noticed your post was hidden in a quote...) @Mitchs98

Yep, this pretty much sealed the deal. She and Heidt weren't exactly going to get along all that well. Not to mention she didn't care for the way he just walked up and grabbed her. She gave a low growl, white fangs visible in the sunlight. "Get off me," She snarled, taking advantage of the arm wrapped around her neck and her smaller stature. Seizing his arm and shirt, a quick pivot was all it really took to throw the man off her. Crimson eyes cast a piercing glare down at him.

||The world is at risk and you're more concerned about money?|| Dereth's voice called out, ||You're lucky Falin's the one that got a hold of you first.||

"That's enough Dereth," Falin muttered before glancing over at Malorn. Who seemed to already be offering to pay the man. She shook her head, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Nyr took his hand again, this time locking her fingers with his. When she looked at him, there was a new fire to her eyes. It wasn't anger, but something else that didn't quite have a name.
"I have spent many moons listening to the Elder Tree tell it's tales over and over again. What you are...what you believe you have become...is nothing. You might believe you are a monster. You might think there is no hope. But when I wield the power of the Earth in my very core, when I have learned to control that what seeks to destroy me...there is still hope for you." She picked up their linked hands and pressed the back of his to her heated cheek, closing her eyes a little bit as she exhales and relishes in the cold that seemed to spread across her cheek.

"An abomination is not what I see when I look at you. An abomination is mindless, stupid, only striving to fulfill the darkest parts of their beings. You have intelligence. You strive to sate the hunger that dwells within you. Simply an instinct of survival. An abomination...not even close. Misunderstood...perhaps." She opened her eyes and loomed at him again, a small smile spreading across her lips.

"Why don't I show you something amazing...a taste of my power, if you will. There was a small grassy area not far from here, and that should be more than enough for me to put on a demonstration." She giggled a bit, lowering their hands to the table but not letting go. She had been aching to do something good with her powers since she woke up- if she didn't do something with them, she felt like she might combust at any moment now. She hummed a little, finishing off her soda and tucking Aquios safely into her pouch. She wanted be outside again, that was where she was most comfortable.

Malorn Drakanos

Malorn nodded, dark magic would make sense for the amount of destruction at hand. Sure, elemental magic could of done this, but it would if been much harder and more time consuming unless you were a god or something. Before he could speak, however, Heidt appeared and offered to sell them further information. Just like Heidt, ask to tag along for something to do then turn around and sell 'interesting' information unexpectedly. Or in Malorns case, expectedly. Malorn sighed and grabbed his wallet from his jacket pocket, producing 5 100 dollar bils, and holding them out to Heidt. "Here." He told him flatly. "Now do go on about this valuable information of yours." He added after.

Ferra and Torr

"You better or I'll track you down and drag you back here!" She called out to him as he walked off and down the street. Sighing she walked back into the house and over the broken door. Explaining that would be an issue, but oh well. Soon after the owner of the house, a middle aged man in a burgandy suit, arrived. And sure enough his jaw dropped as soon as he saw the broken door, N'ythg, Torr, and a blood stained Ferra camping out in the room waiting on him. "Oh uh..don't worry. I'll buy a new door later." She assured him, thinking the door was the only issue. He simply nodded and closed his mouth before walking in the rest of the way.

Eventually after talking for a while they came to an agreement, apparently dragon meat was his favorite food so he allowed her to buy the house for most of it and fifteen thousand bucks to be paid at a rate of $800 a month. Of course, Ferra happily agreed and paid him the money. After cramming the refrigerator full of dragon meat wrapped in paper towels for herself Torr loaded the rest, bag and all, into his car for him. A few minutes later the man was gone and they were left alone in their new house.

"
Now then! Time to get furniture and new clothes." She declared, she'd fix the door later, besides she was fairly sure N'ythg would brutally maim any tresspassers. Before they left however she scribbled a note telling N'ythg not to worry and they'd be back soon and to feel free to wander around a bit as well, placing it in front of him as well as assuming the thing could read english seeing as it understood her. And at that her and Torr left, shutting the door behind them before proceeding to walk down the street towards the Buisiness district, assuming they had furniture shops there.

Before she got to far, however, she remembered the 'for sale' sign. Turning, she quickly tossed a fireball at it and burned it to the ground. No way in hell anyone was buying her house she just bought. And with that, they continued down the street.

Falcon

"That... sounds nice. I'm up for it." Falcon grinned, it was small, but it was something. Standing, he left his cash on the table- the exact cost of their meal that he'd calculated whilst they talked. He didn't think much of it, but thanks to his time at college, he'd picked up mental math pretty well. He led her out of the cafe, and back to the streets, before letting her lead him where they were going. As they walked, he thought back. A lot of things had happened today that he would've thought could never happened. He'd saved someone's life rather than ended it, made a friend in not only Aquios, but also in Nyr- though he wasn't sure how long it'd last- and he'd even managed to be relatively nice.

Sure, he still had dark thoughts that bubbled at the back of his mind, but those kept being suppressed by Nyr. She made all the negative emotions that once filled Falcon's whole body simmer down to a little flame that was constantly flickering in and out of existence. He'd smiled for the first time in what felt like forever, and meant the sincere feelings behind that smile. As she led him along, he thought back to the Cafe, and what she'd said about what he thought of himself. She didn't think of him as a monster, or an abomination, but simply saw him as misunderstood. Was he, though? Is that the name one'd use to describe a cannibal? Misunderstood? Is that the name someone'd use to describe a murderer? Misunderstood?

Then again, you weren't exactly in control of your actions, were you? Sure, you need to consume human flesh to live- a disgusting thought, no matter who you are- but it's not as if you enjoy it. Relax. Let what's happening around happen. It couldn't hurt to put a little of the trust you have for Nyr in yourself, could it? Falcon could see the darkness again, wrapping around him like a warm blanket, trying to protect him from the harsh light. Perhaps it was right. He needed to relax, just a little. Unwind. For once, instead of being adrift in a sea of light, perhaps he could float in the warm embrace of darkness, and let his own darkness sleep. He sighed, as the vision faded, and he was once again in the real world, approaching the grassy null Nyr had spoken about.

"Is... this the place Nyr?" He asked, a bit wary to be so easily spotted by anyone on the null. Still, that darkness reminded him to calm himself, so he did. Plopping down with crossed legs, and his palms relaxed on the grass, he let the grass's warmth flow into him. Unlike the grass below, he hadn't suntanned all day, and wasn't very warm. The warmth soothed him, and he watched Nyr carefully. "Do what you want. I'll watch from here."

$Heidt$

Heidt was practically drooling at the sight of the five hundred dollars, and snatched them out of Malorn's hand, leaping up off the ground in the process, not a bruise in sight on him. He flicked through the cash, and chuckled, slipping the money into a pocket hidden in his get up, shrugging as if he were reluctant to give up his info. "Ah well, I suppose that's decent money there, Malorn. Fine, I'll divulge my all important info." His greed sated, he leaned back, pretending to relax into a chair, his legs more than strong enough to support the action. He waited a moment, taking a puff of his cigarette, before starting with a long exhale.

"I've seen somethings in my lifetime before. But what I saw here today was... wasn't anything I'd ever seen in my life before." He took another puff, his eyes serious as they've been in some time. "I saw vines fly, demons rise and fall, and at the center of it all... was an angel. But, he didn't radiate as much HOLY energy as I thought- I've met Angels before, and they don't exactly radiate DEMONIC energy, do they Malorn?" His question was rhetorical, but he still cast his eyes at Malorn, feeling the waves of oppressive, DEMONIC energy roll of his body like waves at the beach. "I met a Fallen Angel. Did some digging. Th' name's Hitsugya somethin-or-other. But he wasn't the one who kidnapped the Neko Kazuhiro. That was... someone else." He frowned, trying hard to remember what he looked like, but something was blocking his mind, making him have a headache whenever he tried to remember. Sitting up, sweat beaded on his brow as he glanced at Malorn.

"Sorry Malorn, bud, but I can't give ya anymore info. I-I mean..." He frowned, trying to remember, but it only made his head hurt more, and made more sweat bead on his brow. "...I just can't remember for the life of me what the hell that kidnapper looked like... But I bet if we find that Fallen Angel, he'd know. He isn't in leagues with the guy, though. 'Cause I remember seeing Hitsugya destroy the demons the kidnapper summoned." He sighed, relaxing, his cheery demeanor returning. "So, what now Malorn-y ol' pal?"

"No...get her to leave before..." She suddenly heard it. The faint ominous singing echoing from the far side of the hall as darkness slowly crawled towards them. "Oh no." She said as they disappeared in a flash of light."

Kandra Bal Magna

The guards slowly parted as Kandra Bal Magna himself strode to meet the intruder in a timely manner. He wore gaudy clothing in the coler of bright pink and a sparkly pink staff with a stuffed unicorn head at one head. He put his hand on Haruko's shoulder. "You're free to intervene but I'd like to fight this lady here." He said before walking past him. "So...you're the one who broke into my castle?" He said as a wall of runes blocked her from the teleporter room.

"Normally, I'd let my friends here deal with you...but your people are...meager entertainment, so I've decided to participate in this little game we have." He spread his arms towards her. "You can have one clean hit. But if yo don't make it count...well...let's say that you won't be able to even think about the consequences."
Kazuhiro Tomioka As they appeared in his apartment he set Ryd down and chuckled. Walking to his bathroom he looked back at Ryd. "Hey, I said trust me right? I know he's dangerous, Mizuki knows it too even in her blind rage. Hell, as far as she's concerned you're one of us now. Trust is our strength." Walking into the bathroom he brought out a surprising amount of medical supplies. "Now then, why don't we get patched up?"

Mizuki Gensai Glaring at Kandra she glanced over to see Hitsugya and his friend. Her rage still burning she collected herself enough to speak. "You're the one who took Kazuhiro right? I'm sure he told you exactly what you needed to know. Good. I have a single request if you're as civilized as you seem to act. I want his chain scythes, correction, MY chain scythes if we're going to fight." Standing straight she slammed her scythe blade into the ground behind her and walked forward to stand in front of Kandra. "I'm sure you want to see what I can do right? Only fair to see the best." Staring at Kandra with a straight face all her rage dissipated for the moment.

Nyr grinned and skipped a few paces in front of him before plopping herself down so that she was sitting, cross legged, and facing him. She was really excited, and she started to prepare herself by taking a few deep breaths and calming her essence down. Once she was calmed enough, she smiled faintly.

"Watch this." She hummed a bit, resting her palms flat on the grass and exhaling, muttering a few words in an ancient language before her eyes opened and glowed a soft green. "Imagine...a dance between two forgotten lovers..." Her words were monotonous and almost not her own, but suddenly a figure made of clay and dirt sprung up from the ground- a life-sized representation of a girl who looked strikingly similar to Nyr dressed in a flowing dress that moved like actual cloth as if it wasn't comprised of dirt at all. The next figure that appeared from the ground resembled Falcon a little, but didn't match him entirely. The figures took their shape and then took a pose to start a waltz. As the figures started to move in a circle, twirling and dipping each other, soft music sprung up from the grass around them. As the music picked up speed, so did the dancers, and Nyr's body seemed to sway in time to the music as she controlled her puppets made of dirt. The music came to an end, and the male figure dipped the female figure, disappearing back into the ground just as they were about to kiss.

Nyr's eyes faded back to their normal mismatched colors and she blinked a bit, turning a light shade of pink and rubbing the back of her neck. "I apologize if that was messy. I haven't played a marionettist in quite some time. My father used to do it all the time for me." She giggled a bit sheepishly before combing her fingers through her hair. She loved showing off her powers. It was something she took pride in.

"That's just a small bit of what I can do, but I remember when that very act used to drain me and threaten to burn me out." She ran her hand over the grass, and the strands of green seemed to take on a life of their own around her touch. She sighed a bit, lifting her hand again and a smaller scale of the two dancers appeared, trapped in the ending posed as if frozen in time.

"I have to connect to the Earth to be able to do large scale items. Little things like this-" she motioned to the small figures "don't require much effort at all. It's an art, a skill, something I've had to craft to perfection yet still need to do so much to make it perfect..." She huffs a sigh and waves the figures away, returning them to the Earth.

"I love the Earth Mother and all of Her creations, and I always will for She has shown me a great honor and a great blessing that very few shamans get to experience in their lifetime. The shamans who have an affinity for water tend to make the best healers. Earth, the best defenders. Fire, the best fighters. And Air, the best strategists. I have an affinity for water and Earth, making me a pronounced healer and an outstanding defender, since those two elements live in harmony." She explained, taking Aquios out of her bag and giving him a hug.

"My elemental is the ultimate control of my powers. If he were not near me, my power would drain quicker, and I would not be able to use my power to the fullest scale I have trained it to. I can use my power without him, but I can only live through it with him near me." She let the elemental free to roll and play around in the grass, chasing the various insects that would appear out of the grass every so often.

Rex took a step out of the bar, carrying a box of expensive liquor and wine. He was slightly buzzed, but not enough to hinder his further functions and he walked down the street. As of right now, he had not a single care in the world, and decided to up his style. Walking into a store, Rex began looking for a good suit, or atleast something that would be a better replacement then his old trench coat. After an hour, he stepped out of the store, wearing a brand new tuxedo, and a nice looking Fedora. Smiling, he straitened his hat and strutted down the street, feeling like a million bucks, though in reality he was only worth about a hundred now.

Inside the pub, Chaos whipped out a cloth and wiped down the table "Pig" He said to himself, then threw away all the empty bottles left behind. That wasn't the end of it though, since he now had to clean up the broken bottle bits left behind, which was a constant daily occurrence.

Falcon

Falcon sat back, and waited for the show to start. His gold eyes trained on Nyr, blinking slowly as the warm fall air calmed him and filled him with energy. He watched, an waited, anticipation growing by the second. Then, finally, it began. And it was amazing. He watched in awe, as Nyr's eyes glew, their normal shades giving way for a vibrant green- one that reminded him of what their planet looked like from space- greens and browns, whites and blues peppering the giant ball. He felt his heart skip a beat, as the very Earth let itself give way to Nyr's command, a pair of figurines, at first small, then adult, growing from it. A woman and a man, who bore a striking resemblance to him and Nyr, interlocked hands, and began a slow dance, that as the grass played faster and faster, moved faster and faster in time. He let himself be entranced by their elegant movements, in perfect time with the humming grass, and only see what they did. And as it ended, he found himself blushing, as they moved in for a kiss that he'd never get to see finished, as they sunk back to the earth.

"If that was messy... then you at full power must be impossible to ignore." He muttered, flopping back in the grass, staring up at the sky, and letting himself soak in its rays. "I can't express what I felt as words, if I'm going to be blatantly honest, when I saw that dance. You're right." He grinned softly. "That was amazing. I wish I could be as amazing as you sometimes, Nyr, despite having just met you. You..." His hat slid off his head, tumbling down the null, his hair spilling out into the grass like a wave of black and white. "...and Aquios, both of you, have done something for me that I couldn't hope to repay, you know that, right?" He fiddled with his fingers, tapping his claws together, as he stared up at the clouds. "I couldn't hope before meeting you. Hell, I don't know if I can hope right now. But, eh, when you're around, I guess that's okay. You hope for me. You do that, and I won't leave your side, for anything. I promise. I don't make those often enough, Nyr.

"I promise. No matter how hard the going gets, the shit we may get into... I'll stay by you in it. I don't want you, or Aquios as my enemies. Not because I'm afraid of you two... but for... another reason." He smiled somberly, his hands clenching into fists. "I suppose despite all the growing I've done today, I still can't say everything I want to. But, eh, when you're around, I guess that's okay. You say what I want to say. You do that, and I stay by your side, no matter what it is that needs to be said. I promise, and I know I don't make those often enough, Nyr.

"I promise, okay?"

Nyr grinned at his words and moved to flop down the grass beside him, taking his hand in hers again before turning to watch the sky as well.

"You an I? We can take on the world as long as we're at eachother's sides." She giggles a bit, giving his hand a squeeze before sighing softly. She was...enjoying this. Enjoying her time with this person and enjoying the fact that she could help him and just...enjoying the day as the sunlight dappled the ground in warm yellows and oranges. Hope. It was the only thing that had kept her training all those days just to be able to control her power to the point it wouldn't rip her apart from the outside in. Hope was the reason she was still as bright and bubbly as she was despite the fact that she grew more homesick with every day that passed. If she had hope in herself, she could hope for him as well.

Shifting a little bit she turned her head and rested it on his chest, yawning a little bit. After the days events, it wasn't surprising that she was as tired as she was. She was grateful for the few moments of peace that she was getting where, for once in her young life, she almost felt normal. It made her press closer to Falcon, grumbling a bit and burying her face into his neck.

"It's not fair. I know that any minute now, I'm going to have to resume my daily tasks and I'd rather just tell them to bugger off so that I can stay here for a little bit longer." She muttered grumpily, relishing in the chill of his skin. "At least we'll have close to eternity to work on this, right?" She gave a lazy laugh and nestled in a little more, yawning again before letting her eyes slip shut.

"Do me a favor and wake me if anything exciting happens, yeah?" She mumbled sleepily, words slipping off as she fell into a light slumber, breathing deeply and dreaming of the place she used to call home.

It was a long night, Rex was out on town, exploring the city in its fullness. So lost in the adventures, was he, that he lost track of time. Now this was the highlight of his life, his one known day of life, as he visited different restaurants and bars, seeing what the city had to offer. Of course, everything has to come to an end, and eventually he stumbled back towards Ferras large house. It was probably early morning, the sun not quite risen yet, as he walked up to the door way. Grabbing the door nob, which was still attached to the doorway despite the rest being broken, he pulled it off "I'll just let myself in" He muttered. Rex yawned and sat down on the floor in the living room. "To the future, I guess" He mumbled to himself, lighting a cigar in his mouth. Rex paused for a moment, not sure if she would want smoking in her house, but figured it was no big deal. He was only able to make it halfway through the cigar before he fell into a deep sleep.

"Well we can talk about you and what you remember of me or you could try to do anything you need to make yourself feel more at home. "

Falcon

"Can we...?" Falcon muttered, amusement peppering his voice as he felt her squeeze his hand, his heart pounding even more than when she'd flopped down next to him. Taking on the world. It was a big challenge, but with Nyr by his side... For once Falcon was filled with a kind of determination that refused to be destroyed. He may have done things in his past that were irrefutable, that could never be atoned for, but then again...

That was the past wasn't it?

And here, laying in the grass, staring up at the sky like tomorrow'd never come... this was the present. Laying here, with her head using him as a pillow, to his heart's happiness and his embarrassment, this was the present, wasn't it? And that feeling in his chest, that was... joy? Haha... no. It was something deeper, something so forbidden, yet so lovely that he could no longer name it. For, how could one even hope to name the unnameable if they'd never felt that feeling for someone, or had someone feel it toward them.

"Well, if you want, I could help you." He muttered, running his palm across Nyr's head, careful to keep his claws away from her head. He didn't want to hurt her, so he stayed careful. "And... yeah, eternity. Not sure how we'll pull off living that long... but knowing you, you'd just bop me upside the head for thinking of dying of old age on you, huh?" he snickered, palming her hair, surprised that, even unwashed it was still soft to the touch. He nodded, as she fell asleep on him, drifting off to a world he'd never get to visit. He layed there in silence, the only noise to be heard the sound of his own breathing and Nyr's, resonating throughout the square. Despite her request of waking her up, he'd need someone to awaken him first, as the warmth of the young woman at his side, and the calm of the null slowly tugged at his consciousness, bringing him to slumber just a few minutes after Nyr'd fallen asleep.

The light. The dark. It swirled about Falcon like the crashing tide of an ocean violently smashing against the sea-wall of a city. The hurricane of darkness overhead crackled with lightning of golden light- opposing forces met in a battle for dominance decided solely by Falcon. His demons. His desire. It all rode on his choice. What choice did he have? How could he disobey his demons? The light grew, lightning striking the ocean and cleaving holes through it as deep as the deepest trench in the world. A light slashed a hole through the clouds, cleaving them apart to bathe the land in the HOLY light of day, even if it were for a sheer moment.

IT descended, clad in light, wings as wide as the sky. IT reached for Falcon, and embraced him, wings curling about them as they descended to the city below. HoPe was left behind. Dreams were abandoned. The city would give him all he needed. IT would give him all he needed. IT was there for him, always. IT would never let him go. IT loved him. IT was his HoPe. IT was his Dreams.

But Falcon didn't want IT.

Falcon didn't love IT.

Because Falcon knew what IT was, what IT had done. He knew IT better than IT knew him, and better even than IT knew ITself.

IT was a fool. IT was a murderer. IT was his guilt, his hatred of the world, his desire to kill, to maim, to slaughter to devour to endtorupturetodestroytoeat... to kill.

IT was evil. IT was His Demons.

So Falcon cried out its name, cried out its name into the blinding light that soaked into his skin, and with each cry, a Darkness flooded from his mouth, burning IT more and more until it finally could take no more, and let him free. He tumbled from the sky, and fell to the City of Light below. IT had done its job anyways, and would make Falcon love IT no matter what.

But the DARKNESS would not let that occur. The DARKNESS was not a fallacy, was not something that could let Falcon fall from grace. He needed to see that the DARKNESS was more than just something scary and un-understandable. IT was his enemy. The DARKNESS... well The DARKNESS was something more.

Since time immeasurable, The DARKNESS has been. It guided many lives to Salvation, to freedom. IT simply guided lives to Damnation.

The DARKNESS has always been there to love and be loved.

IT has always been there to hate and be hated.

And so The DARKNESS asked the remaining that loved it a question.

"W
ho Are You?"

"..."

"..."

"..."

Within Himself, Falcon fell, but never did he ever touch the light. The DARKNESS flooded the city, and a whirlwind of darkness overtook IT, and swept it away, the gold light no more. Further and further Falcon fell into blackness, his vision filled with the love of The DARKNESS.

Further and further did Falcon fall into His World.

And when he could fall no further, he was able to answer the question. The answer wasn't perfect. It was jaded, broken, and in many ways, disgusting. But... it was him.

"...I know Who I Am. I'm... I'm a broken soul. Broken by IT, the thing that's plagued me all my life. I'm a jaded individual, who can't accept what he's done, and what he's become- broken. Despite this, and my disgust with myself... I've recently... become what I need to be. This isn't Who I Am, but it's What I Need To Be.

I'm not Falcon, but that's Who I Need To Be.

I'm not broken anymore, that's What I Was.

I'm not jaded anylonger, that's What I Was."

So... who was he. Who was this once-broken, once-jaded, once-disgusting creature that was named abomination that lay in the darkness like a child would lay in its warm bedsheets, wrapped up in a warm embrace?

"I... am you, DARKNESS."

"Yes. You are. You have always been. You are my child, Falcon, child of DARKNESS. You are not IT's child. IT made you, but IT is no more. IT made you because IT was slain. IT was desperate, afraid, angry,

alone.

These feelings you feel, you've felt all your life: those were ITs dying feelings: abandonment, abhorrence with what IT'd done. Yet despite this, you're able to see IT now, aren't you?"

"Yes."

"Do you pity it? What would you do if you saw it?"

"Try to love it. Because... it isn't pitiful. It's broken, like I was."

"...there will come a time in which you need to fix IT. Can you? You ridding yourself of its influence makes it manifest in a physical being. IT will hunt you down, and in its pain, will kill you. Can you fix IT."

"DARKNESS... if I was able to be fixed... and I am the culmination of ITs negativity... if NYR could fix me, if AQUIOS could fix me... then I can fix IT. And I will. As FALCON, product of DARKNESS, with NYR and AQUIOS by my side, when the time comes, I will fix IT."

"...Good. I will see you in time, my child. For now, fix IT.

I love you, my child. Despite the thing's you've done, despite the thing's you will have to do, I love you. I hope in time you can forgive IT, despite the tales of your birth. None of which, are true. You will not remember this. Are you okay with that?"

"Yes. I've been Baptized in Blacklight, and I am okay with this. Even if Static is all that fills my mind, I'm okay with this. I won't remember, but I will still do as I need to. Goodbye."

"Goodbye."

Falcon cracked an eye open, staring off into the sky, a weight lifted off his shoulders. For... whatever reason. Huh. He felt... better. Like, he'd fixed himself, despite his attitude towards life. He stared down at Nyr, who was still fast asleep on his chest, and smiled, just a bit. He still remembered his promise to her. If she needed him... he'd be there. He watched Aquios run among the grass for a while, before staring back up at the sky. Despite all that'd happened... he felt... fine. No. Good. He felt... good.

Ferra and Torr

After several hours of shopping Ferra walked up her street with two bags of clothes and a mattress strapped to Torrs' back. Of course, she'd bought more furniture if not much, but that'd be delivered tommorrow. She was tired, and it was evident on her face that she was. Eventually she made it home to notice that the door had almost completely fallen off the hinges, shrugging she stepped inside. She immediately noticed Rex asleep against the living room wall, well at-least he came back like she asked him too. Deciding against bothering him for now she walked up stairs, put her bags of clothes down in her room, and came back down before lugging the mattress up the stairs. "Don't bother Rex Torr, let him sleep for now." She told him from the top of the stairs. Shrugging Torr trudged over to a corner of the living room as quietly as possible and sat down.

He had to admit, he liked the idea of having a actual house for once, yet it felt so foreign to him at the same time. Meanwhile Ferra had elected to take a shower, something she welcomed whole-heartedly. After a while she came back down the stairs in a simple white sleep shirt and pants, lugging the mattress back down behind her after deciding to sleep in the living room like a slumber party of sorts.

Walking over to the light switch she flicked it off and walked over to the mattress then looked at Rex. Shrugging she decided to pick him up and lay him on the other half of the king sized bed, grabbing the cigar as it fell out of his mouth and tossing it out of the door, which was more than big enough to have enough room for both of them comfortably. "
Welp. Might as well get some sleep, good night Torr." She told him, climbing onto the other side of the bed and using her wings as a makeshift blanket. A few seconds after closing her eyes she was asleep, tiredness winning over excitement of having a new house.

"That's enough Dereth," Falin muttered before glancing over at Malorn. Who seemed to already be offering to pay the man. She shook her head, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Falcon

"That... sounds nice.

((I got #snipe'd))

Malorn Drakanos

Malorn smirked as Falin tossed Heidt to the ground like a ragdoll. Note to self, don't touch her. He thought to himself. Eventually Heidt stood, took the money, and began explaining. A fallen angel? Interesting indeed. Even more interesting that someone had summoned demons to cause all of this. Thinking over the information he had recieved he eventually answered Heidt on what to do next, "Do you happen to know where this 'Hitsugya' lives?" He asked him.

"Dammit where'd she go!" shouted Hitsu, punching guard after guard. Running down the halls of the giant castle, he became fed up with the never ending number of demons and guards. He could feel Mizuki's surge of power but there was something else that was there. Hitsugya extended his hand, while still jumping in the air, and opened his palm up. Tsk tsk tsk BOOM!! A massive explosiom made a huge rip in the wall, and through it Hitsu ran down corridor after corridor.

"A fallen angel?" Falin murmured before shaking her head. As long as he wasn't an archangel. Not that she hadn't had to put one down before. But at least they had a name, as little to go on as that was. "But someone capable of summoning other demons . . . Likely a conjurer or other mage of some sort, demon or not." She glanced at Malorn as he asked where they could find Hitsugya. Chances are, that greedy rat wasn't going to tell them whether or not he knew anything without being paid more. That was always how these types seemed to operate. Granted if it came down to it, she could forcefully take the information... But that was more of a last resort than anything.

Walking into the bathroom he brought out a surprising amount of medical supplies.

Kandra Bal Magna

"No." He said as his staff glowed and sparkled. Lightning shot out towards her as Kandra took a step forward. "In fact no. I don't want to see what you can do. What I want my dear..." A mace appeared on his free hand and threw it towards her. "Is for you to die." He finished as the mace sailed.

Ryd

"Yeah...thanks." She said as she held out her still bleeding arm. Her cloak ruffled before crawling off of her and hiding under the bed. "Don't mind him, he just hasn't seen natural light in a long while." She said. Light ruffling could be heard as if the animated piece of cloth was complaining. "Yeah yeah, later."

Despite all that'd happened... he felt... fine. No. Good. He felt... good.
Nyr was woken from her dreams just as she got to the top of the Elder Tree and she groaned, stretching and nuzzling into whatever was breathing underneath her. Slowly, her consciousness came back from her dreams, and she yawned widely, sitting up to stretch. She fixed her rumpled shirt and turned to look at Falcon, giving a half-smirk.

"If there was anything I needed, it was that nap. And possibly a shower." She wrinkled her nose a bit. What she wouldn't give to have a shower, or at least something to tidy up her mess of a hair. She stretched again, lifting her arms above her head before plopping back down next to Falcon and resting her head back on his shoulder.

"So. What do you want to do now?" She giggled a bit, looking up at him to rest her palm on his cheek gently. "I don't suppose you know of anything fun to do around here? Possibly...somewhere I could take a shower?" She pressed gently, giggling again and taking his hand in her free one.

"I promise I look much better after I've had a chance to clean up a bit, you know. I might have lived on the dusty plains, but we still had rivers and soaps to wash up with. I'm not entirely a neanderthal, contrary to popular belief." She pokes her tongue out at him before huffing a bit.

"I'd shower myself, but that involves to much effort." She rolled onto her back, letting the hand that had been previously resting on his cheek flop to the ground next to her.

"Besides, I'm sure Aquios wouldn't mind the steam of the shower either." She laughed a little, looking over to where her companion was chasing a butterfly. He eventually caught it, and Nyr watched with blatant amusement as the little creature looked at the buttefly curiously, holding it up to his face and looking at it with his wide, curious eyes before placing the little insect on top of his head, where it chose to stay and begin looking around for any sort of pollen that might have gathered on Aquios's surface. It made her happy to see her familiar having a good time.

Her eyes drifted back to the sky, and she started to sing a lilting melody quietly, her voice rising and falling softly as a summer breeze would. It was in the same ancient language she used to connect to the Earth Mother.

Rex stood inside a large office, staring out the shattered window and looking at the sky as the wind gently blew against his face. Without warning, a boomerang flew in through the window towards him. Instinctively, Rex turned to leap out of the way, his cape flowing as he tried to make the jump. The boomerang struck the ground next to him, like a knife being embedded in a surface. All out of time, Rex watched in surprise as it suddenly blew up, destroying everything, bringing the dream to a crashing end.

Rex sat up suddenly, startled and awakened by the strange dream. It wasn't as much of a nightmare as it was a blast from the past. He wiped the sweat from his brow, all of the confusion and unanswered questions returning. Ontop of that, he grew even more confused at the strange location. Where was he? Whose house was this? He turned his head and starred at the sleeping Ferra, growing alert. What was she doing on the living room floor? He looked down, seeing that they were on a mattress. Shaking his head, Rex quickly stood up and leaned backed off, feeling rather uncomfortable, like his personal bubble had been violated. Opening his backpack, he pulled out a bottle of wine and took a few sips to calm himself down, then leaned against the wall. He cast a glance out the window, seeing the sun beginning to rise, how much sleep did he get? Not much probably, but now he was definitely not feeling tired. Right now, he had to cure his curiosity once and for all. Answers needed to be found at any cost. Almost immediately, he knew that he had to return to the Emerald Enclave. It was risky, but perhaps he could find a clue that would tie everything together. Being completely decided, Rex placed his two knives in his pockets, and also his new third knife, A pair of metal knuckles, a chain, and a pistol. He had everything he needed, and with that, he quietly stepped out the door to begin his adventure.

"Screw off you son of bitch!!" shouted Hitsugya, slamming into the ground between Mizuki and Kandra, knocking the mace right out of the mysterious mans hand. While the partial dust cloud was still there Hitsugya channeled black lightning through his hand and extended his hand in the direction of Kandra, letting it spark out of his finger tips.

"Yup Falin: Fallen Angel. Though, I don't know too much about this Summoner fellow, besides the fact he, y'know, kidnapped a dude." Shrugging, he flipped through the five hundred dollars again, grinning all the while as he heard himself enter another possible business transaction. "Well, I do happen to know the whereabouts of the guy's home, but Malorn'll tell you: the first thing you gotsta know about me izzat I work on a budget. You want somethin' from me? Pay me. You want to know Hitsugya's home? Give me some cash. Preferably something from this world, by the way." He winked at Falin, a grin growing across his face.

He could've given the info away for the five hundred dollars in his hands- it was more than enough for just a little bit of info, but he loved his money, and the more he could squeeze out of people, the better, he thought. So, expectantly, he held out a hand for his cash, eyes closed and a confident grin across his face. He knew Malorn. He wouldn't do something as stupid as attack him. He'd leveled a city, sure, but that was because somebody pissed him off. And while Heidt was annoying, he wasn't annoying enough to warrant being destroyed by Malorn. Plus, he wasn't strong enough to pose a challenge to someone like Malorn. 'Course, not that Malorn'd know, but he'd recently found a pair of Angelic Foils, both of which he melted down into bullets- Angel Bullets, he called them- which would cause some MAJOR damage for the Grand Demon. He didn't plan on shooting his idol, though. It'd be a hellova lot more boring in this world without him.

Falcon

Falcon smiled back, it was still a soft grin, but it held considerably less weight than before. Then Nyr mentioned showering, and he thought for a moment. Well, there was a sauna he remembered being near his hideout... but the way Nyr spoke, it was like she didn't have a home. The thought worried him, but he didn't ask, as there was no need. She didn't ask too much about him, so he'd let her keep her privacy if she wanted it.

"Well, as for fun, I can think of a few places, but if you want to get cleaned up, there's a sauna nearby with a spa and showers for you to get cleaned up in." He frowned a little when she moved her hand from his cheek, her warmth was quite soothing, and he was a fan of it and didn't like feeling it gone. Still, she held onto his other hand, so he couldn't complain. He let her calming song wash over him, half-wishing he knew what language she sung it in. But, part of the song's majesty was its alien nature, so maybe it was better that he didn't know the words.

"Nice song. I'm guessing it's from your world, huh?" He sat up, slowly as to not disturb her. Letting go of her hand, he stretched his back, his arms reaching for the sky. His tail also went straight as an arrow as it stretched too, before thumping back to the ground. "Well, if you're rested, let's go. I'll take you to the sauna, if you want." He chose to ignore the sound of explosions that he heard. In this city, he bet another pair of idiots were getting into a scuffle. Best not to bother with them, he thought, as he offered Nyr his hand, a small grin on his face.

Nyr grinned at him and took his hand, pulling herself to her feet.

"I'm well rested, yes. And, yes. That song was from my world. The Elder Tree used to hum it in the summer." She giggled a bit before locking her fingers with his again. The thought of a warm shower gave her goosebumps, and she called to Aquios who came running up to her before hopping up into her bag. She brushed her thumb along the back of Falcon's hand, a half-smile on her lips.

"I haven't felt this much like a girl in...well probably since the time the ceremony was held for me to pass into adulthood and claim the spot of Grand Shaman in my tribe. They went as far as cleaning out from under my nails and even taming my hair!" She laughed a bit, keeping rather close to Falcon as they started walking towards the direction of the spa. She stuck her free hand in her pouch, petting Aquios and letting him attack her fingers much like a playful kitten would.

"In all reality, though, I had life pretty good compared to the rest of my village. I was pampered, usually given what I wanted when I wanted it with someone catering to my needs during the day. Honestly? I hated it. I like being free, I like having my moments of solitude. I didn't like it when the lower classes of my tribe would bow their heads in respect when I walked by. I wished they would've treated me like they treated eachother. I was an equal, after all. Being the chief's daughter shouldn't have changed that at all." She huffed, clearly annoyed by the memory. It faded though, and her smile was quickly back in place as she thought about the few people that would actually treat her like a normal person.

"Illoi was my closest friend back at home. She was the blacksmith's daughter, but her and I loved nothing more than to sit by the hot fires of the forge during the winter months and watch her father work. He made everything that the tribe used for weapons. Everything from my bow to my dagger, which surprisingly enough I still have with me." She giggled a bit. "Illoi's temper was as hot as those fires though, let me tell you what. If there was someone in the tribe that you didn't want to piss off? It was her. She had an affinity for fire, so it makes sense why we got along. Complete opposites. She was...she was beautiful, too. Tall, graceful, elegant. Darker than I am, too. I was jealous of her hair, to be honest. It was long, down to about her hips. The boys back at home used to get lost in her eyes- they had a warm glow to them since they were a light orange tint. It was always entertaining, watching them trip over themselves whenever she used to walk by with me." She laughed quietly, not entirely aware of the fact that it wasn't just her friend that the boys would fawn over.

"I miss her, sometimes. I know that I'll be reunited with her some day, but I don't know when that day will be." She puffed her cheeks out before resting her head against his shoulder as they walked. "Sorry for rambling again." She muttered sheepishly, bringing her free hand up to brush her hair back behind her ears as best as she could.

Falcon

He grinned, softly, his other hand palming his katana, Zezze, his only defense against magical attacks. Though his hat was on his head again, he'd left his trench coat back in the cafe. Though he felt like he had nothing to hide, sometimes it was nice just... lying it it. It was his blanket on cold nights. Plus, it went well with his hat. He knew Nyr didn't like either of the items- she was kind of a hippie, after all- but they'd been his judgement-less compainions throughout his life. He chuckled when she'd finished speaking, taking up the role of talking himself.

"I used to hate your rambling. Hard to believe that was just earlier today, but I think you talking my ear off- no pun intended- has helped me get used to how much you talk." He grinned, half expecting another slap from her. "Still, I would give up all I have for a chance at the life you had. To be treated with such love and respect... hah. It's a dream far too far from reality for me." He chuckled somberly, hand gripping his katana softly. "I haven't told you much about myself, have I? Nothing, besides my eating habits and self-hatred. I suppose I should tell you a tale as well."

He remained silent for a moment, before beginning, his words slowly painting a picture. "My home... in a word it's a snake's nightmare. Much, much too cold. It's winter all the time there, basically. Brr! I get shivers down my spine just thinking about it. Anyhow, my home may have been cold, icy to the bone, but it was beautiful- again, kind of the opposite of your world. How you described it, it was so full of colour and resonance- mine was beautiful in an... empty way. Perhaps that and my... activities made for me becoming more level-headed than some women I know, but I wouldn't change my homeland in any way. I've long forgotten its name, for it and its name have been lost to the ages and icy-ness of the north. Everywhere you looked, there was a mountain range. Mountain peaks weren't the only thing that were snow-capped, though. Snow and ice was everywhere: it fell from the sky, rose from the ground, shifted through the air- I haven't seen so much snow in one place. Plus, it was never silent. You'd think such a wasteland would be quiet, but the wind constantly whistled below your feet in the valleys deep below. The people of that land I lived in used to say it was the sound of Demons trying to crawl from the depths of hell, but..." He went quiet, humor, for a moment, abandoning him. "...But I've heard Demons attempting that before. They sound nothing alike. Now... where was I...? Oh yeah, the wind. Plus, sometimes, when crossing these rope bridges that connected mountain villages, the wind'd shoot up out of the valleys- fwoosh!- and nearly knock you off the bridge. It was... it was exhilarating and terrifying."

He chuckled, scratching his jaw, fondly reminiscing on that land. It was too bad he'd never learned its name. Maybe if he knew where he was from, he could take Nyr there on vacation. Still, he had a little more to describe, so he continued.

"I think what I loved most about my home were the mountains. Sometimes, they weren't even mountains, but instead, dormant volcanoes whose bellies were full of magma, but whose heads were empty, so snow would gather there and melt, but not evaporate, until you had a natural sort of sauna. I loved relaxing in those springs, getting to clean myself of... of the blood on my hands and face. Plus, y'know, the heat was always nice." He smiled, a certain fondness for the past settling on his face. The more he thought of home, the more he wished to go there. But... he didn't know home's name, or how to get there, so there wasn't a chance he'd be able to return. When he snapped back from his story, he recognized that his feet'd led him to the spa, and he parted from Nyr.

"Well, here's the place. Girls on the left, men on the right. After we're done, perhaps we could talk more, huh?" He grinned, resting his palm on her cheek, before strolling in, leaving a small pile of cash on the counter to pay for him and Nyr.

Nyr was fascinated by the tale of his homeland, and she half wished he knew where it was so that she could some day go there. She wasn't all too fond of the cold, but she could deal with it if it were beautiful. It made her think of the winters of her homeland where snow was everywhere and the wind never stopped blowing unless you were near an Air Shaman who wasn't to particularly fond of the wind that day. When he parted from her, she suddenly felt half empty and she shivered a bit, huffing and heading to where the girls were supposed to go. She started up one of the showers and undressed, piling her clothes and belongings neatly on the little bench out side of her stall before getting in, closing her eyes and tilting her head back to enjoy the heat of the water on her skin.

She felt a nudge against her shin and looked down, smiling a bit at Aquios before scooping him up, setting him on the soap dish so that he could enjoy the steam as much as she was right now. She took some shampoo from the dispenser and started scrubbing at her hair, feeling the dirt and the blood and the sweat come off as she did so. Once that was accomplished, she set to work doing the same task with the rest of her body before rinsing off and just standing under the water for a moment. She closed her eyes, tilting her head back once more and exhaling softly as the steam billowed around her. It was relaxing, and she felt some how lighter now that she was all washed up. At the very least, she didn't smell like a homeless person any more, which she supposed was always good. She thought about what Falcon had said, about his promise to her and it made her face darken a little under the color that was already there from the hot water. Had anyone ever made that kind of promise to her?

...once, she remembered, when Illoi had taken the blood oath to become Nyr's blood-bound follower. The thought of her old friend's promise nearly shattered Nyr. She was alone, she was allowed to think and not have to be happy all the time. Crouching down, Nyr tucked her head between her knees and, for the first time since she woke up here, allowed herself to cry. She hoped the sound of the shower would drown out the noises she was making, but they seemed to echo around the stall she was in. Here she was, stuck on some dammed planet that was nothing like her homeworld, and Illoi was left at home. If anything, she should have been here with her. She gripped the pendant that hung around her neck, muscles tense as she slowly uncoiled and kept staring at the tiled floor beneath her feet.

She was stronger than this, she had no reason to be crying like some lost child. She wiped her eyes quickly and shut the water off, stepping out and drying off with one of the white towels that was hung up on the wrack. Once she was completely dry, she slipped back into her clothes and started rubbing her hair with the towel. Once it was mostly dry, she combed her fingers through it and made it look presentable before slipping out of the room, looking for Falcon.

Mizuki Gensai "Fair enough, makes sense... since you're not as civilized as I thought." Jumping back she picked up her scythe and her previous rage burned even greater as her scythe glowed an ominous black. "I'm just as good with this one as well." Slamming it on the ground a shockwave of shadows spread around the group as copies of herself, just as menacing appeared. "Let's play our game." Swinging her scythe back she sliced the air sending blades of solid shadows flying at Kandra. Without hesitation she ripped through the ground sending shadows bursting through the floors toward Kandra. "80% Hitsugya!" Knowing he'd know what she meant she sank into the shadows and stood still as her clones who had copied every movement she had already made.

Kazuhiro Tomioka Taking out some bandages he began wrapping Ryd's arm and smiled. "No worries, for now just worry about getting fixed up. Then we can get something proper to eat and just get comfortable pretty much." After wrapping up her arm he turned to get some more bandages. "Honestly I've never seen Mizuki at full strength so I don't know what Kandra or her could do to each other. Hell as far as I know they're at a stalemate." Taking off his shirt he began wrapping the wounds all over his chest. "Then again I've never felt that much energy from her before so who knows what the rest of her family could do..." Shivering at the thought he shook his head and returned to wrapping his wounds. "Anyway now that we're safe I'd like to know some more about you. You obviously are just as capable as anyone else in that kind of situation. If you'd rather hear my story I wouldn't mind."
