Dru walked into the office of the complex where a meek looking man was sitting behind the counter reading a newspaper. Dru walked up to him and cleared his throat causing the man to look up and survey the two of them for a minute before saying "two bedroom apartments are 300 a month and you just have insurance for it by the end of the week no killing or sacrifice in the room and no decaying in there either. Otherwise rent is due in the first and your contract will be under your door." The man tossed them keys and went back to reading his magazine.

Torr glared at him and sighed, "Just because I decide not to speak to others doesn't mean I'm dumb, you know." He replied flatly. Ferra ran down the stairs soon after. "Who cares if it's not furnished! It's warm, it's indoors. Hell the floor itself would be more comfortable than the pavement." She told him. "And there's enough room to have friends over too! This is awesome!" She added soon after. Looking around the living room once more and out of the massive window that gave a nice few she nodded to herself. "I'mma call 'em." She stated simply, taking her phone out before running outside and dialing the number.
After a brief conversation she hung up the phone and walked back inside with a happy look on their face. "Soo..it was too much to buy outright. But! They're gunna come over and stuff, see how much I can make on payments or something. This is so exciting, I've never had an actual house before!" She told them happily, practically beaming with joy.
Ahri felt flattered, her cheeks were light pink. She was blushing. "Thanks. You look as well, handsome." Ahri let out a giggle. "Mm..I think I'm just not going to show my tails the rest of the day.."Kihara017 said:

Malorn Drakanos
Malorn nodded slightly and crossed his arms, "I must say, I'm impressed." He remarked, eyeing the burned trees and craters. Whoever did this might actually be worth fighting he thought to himself. "Are you able to discern anything else? Unfortunately my powers do not include things such as this." He told her, referring to finding out what happened.
Rex gave a faint smile of humor as he opened the door "Perhaps" he stated, then walked out into the street, hands in his pockets. "Time to chill out a little bit.." he muttered to himself, glad to have a moment alone. Without thinking, he wandered through the neighborhood aimlessly, seeing what other strange creatures were around. Ultimately, this place was like a big zoo for him, except there were no cages or bars. Speaking of which, he realized he had wandered outside the suburb, and was now in the downtown area. "Well, Tis a welcome sight for sore eyes" Rex smiled as he passed by a few resteraunts on his way towards the local pub. "Gonna drink fancy tonight" He stepped inside, finding an inconspicuous table to enjoy the drinks.Mitchs98 said:Ferra and Torr
Ferra nodded, "You bet I am!" She told him. She arched a brow and looked out of the window, trying to discern what exactly he was looking at. Shrugging upon seeing nothing she looked over to him as he started to leave, "Awh. Alright, you better come back soon alright? I suppose you can stay here for a while too until you get your own place." She replied. "I'm just gunna wait here for the guy to arrive." She added, walking over and sitting beside Torr and N'ythg. If anything with the house being big she could have friends over, and lucky for her she'd met lots of people today who she was sure would be glad to come over.
temporalSorceress said:"Make that two. Except with a Dr. Pepper instead of a lemonade." She giggles a bit and lets go of Falcon's hand to go find a booth. She finds one in the back corner and takes a seat, waiting for Falcon to join her. When he does, she runs a hand through her hair again before speaking.
"Listen, I know you think my story is just that- a story. But it's as real as you and I are. As for me being the only one of my kind to have an affinity to two elements...it's very rare for that to happen, and it's a sign of good fortune to my people." She explains, looking down at the table and playing with her silverware for a minute before looking back up at Falcon with a half-smile on her face.
"I believe you can become something better, you know. If there wasn't any hope for you...you wouldn't have spared me with all the begging and pleading that I could have done. I'm just a stranger to you, and you had no reason to save me. But thank you for doing so. Maybe...maybe there is something that can be done for you. A different lifestyle, persay. I'm not saying you have to completely stop eating people- but you could...go for the bad ones. The ones that seek to hurt other people, you know?" She takes his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I believe in you, Falcon." She starts playing absently with his fingers, staring at the table again. She still had to tell Melchio about what she saw, but she didn't know when she'd get the opportunity. Suddenly, she had an idea. She didn't know why she didn't think of it before. She glances down at Aquios.
Go find Melchio, and relay to him what I saw in the vision. It is important, little one. Go. Her thoughts were directed towards Aquios, and she shooed him towards the exit.
~Aquios~
Aquios was glad to finally have something to do other than follow around the lovesick puppies. He left eagerly, starting to track down Melchio's essence. It wasn't hard, that was for sure. He found the trail, and started heading towards its source. It was...tense. When he finally got to the restaurant, he was appalled by what he found. However, he had a mission to take care of, and he ran for Melchio, scrambling up his side quickly and papping him on the face repeatedly.
"Melchio! Melchio I have a message from Nyr! It's something you need to know!" He warbled quickly, papping his cheek again and hoping that the other being could hear him. He wasn't sure if he wanted to be around here when all the chaos went down, but he had to pass on Nyr's vision or things could get very bad. The pain from the memory seared through him, and he warbled a bit quietly. Something had bounced back Nyr's conscious, but he wasn't about to question that right now. His main job was to follow his master's orders.

Ikari was disappointed that the girl didn’t just blast the building immediately, but he knew she wasn’t cold hearted. That’s when he saw the tails and knew he finally had him in his sights. when she brought out her vines, he knew this was going to be a fun battle. He watched as she wraps him in her vines and start to squeeze the life out of him, but he was robbed of his enjoyment when vix’s date interfered. Maybe this guy would be as easy to control as mykky he thought to himself. “isn’t it obvious, my partner and I are here to kill my baby brother over there. In the most painful way possible so I suggest you let us do are job and not interfere again. We don’t want to have to hurt such a pretty face.” he said with a smirk. he then saw vix break the frozen vines and snicker at him, seeing the anger on his brother’s face.
He then began to mock Vix with a devilish glint in his eyes “what’s wrong baby brother, aren’t you going to come and say Hi to your brother. After all, I’m all that’s left of your family.” He charges at vix with razor sharp claw out striking him right in the chest and stomach. He smirked and looked at vix “look at you so weak, and pathetic. You couldn’t even avoid my simple attack, but don’t worry I promised mykky she’ll get to kill you.” He whispered into vix’s ear and then gave him a powerful kick sending him flying into the back wall.
He then looks at melchio and said “I don’t know what that man has told you but you should not trust him. He is very evil and has cause a lot of pain, just asked your friend over there.” He then tried to pick melchio up, he knew if he wanted mykky to continue to battle vix, he need to keep up his act. Plus, he could smell the scent of vix all over this guy, so he knew he was important to vix. If things went south, he could use him as lavage against his brother.
Vix
Vix was couldn’t believe how quick the night has changed from being happy and enjoyable, to a painful mess. He was almost crushed to death by vines, then he was clawed by his psychotic brother, who is manipulating mykky to do his dirty work. He felt like giving up but then he saw ikari try to pick melchio and he rage grew out of control. He had no right to touch one hair of melchio head and he was going to pay for everything he has done. He got up and began to walk toward the center of the room making sure everyone was out of the building. “don’t lay a hand on him, if you want me then here I am but let him go” he was ready to take both of them on if it meant keeping melchio out of the battle.
He the casted a protective barrier around melchio and said to him “stay out of this melchio, your body is still recovering “. he then looks toward mykky and said “look, I don’t know why you are helping that demon but I don’t want to hurt you mykky, please listen to reason.” he figured the best way to take care of mykky is to knock her out so he charged her. he gave her a good punch in the gut and then sweep her leg from under her having her fall to the floor. He was about to bind her with a spell when ikari came out of nowhere and grabbed him by the throat throwing him across the room. “you don’t know how long I been waiting to kill you brother” he said with an evil grin.
Vix created fox fire in his hands, shooting them at his brother, but his brother just knocked them aside as if there were nothing but small flames. Ikari created a veil of blue lightening the was randomly shouting itself around the room, then he focused it right toward vix. Vix felt agonizing pain through his body as his brother closed in on him “no wonder mother and father left you behind. After all, look at how weak you are.” He then took out a small bottle filled with a purple liquid “this is a special poison made to cause the nervous system of kitsune to amplify. Meaning all the pain you will receive from here on out will be ten times what you would normally feel.” He then poured the poison in the open wound vix had causing him to shout a gut wrenching scream of pain. He looked into his brother eyes and saw nothing but pure evil in them but he couldn’t let him win so he took the chance to bite him right into his shoulder taking a huge chuck of flash with him.
Ikari let out a loud scream and through vix down to the ground. Vix wasn’t going to die now, he was a stubborn fox and now was his time to prove it. he casted a summoning spell creating a beautiful looking katanna sword. His body was in the worst pain of his life but if he was going to die he would take his brother out with him. He had smug look on his face and said “it will take more than my murderous brother and you mykky to kill me.” Ikari looks irate toward mykky and said “I promised you the kill so get up and kill him so I can be done with this”.

Falin shook her head. "Normally I can see what happened through the plants that grow nearby. But everything nearby has been torched and everything in about a mile radius is withered." She rubbed the bridge of her nose, trying to think. "What about you, Necrirti? Can you pick up anything?"
||Everything around here is pretty faint . . . though I can still feel traces of dark magic.||
Falin rubbed the back of her neck, that wasn't exactly a lot to go on. "Well, dark magic could at least explain what everyone's been feeling lately."

Falcon
Falcon wasn't surprised to know she could see the doubt on his face- she seemed to be able to read him like a book. And despite that, he still found her hard to read. Perhaps it was the years of isolation. Perhaps he was entranced by her entirety- her hair is what most often drew his eyes, though other more... voluptuous places did as well. Still, he looked her in the eyes as she spoke, his spirits falling with every word she spoke. She believed in him, huh? She hoped for him? Those were both things he'd given up on long ago- things he'd forsaken for the life he lived now. A part of him wanted to get angry at her- of course he didn't want to eat people! If he wanted to live, it was a necessity! But... he couldn't. So many other parts of him wanted to speak, so he was left speechless, his eyes downcast at the table. Though his heart did skip a beat when she took his hand in hers, he kept himself quiet, waiting until she was finished. He didn't even realize that Aquios had gone when he finally looked up.
"Listen... Nyr-" His eyes radiated a deep, soul-crushing sadness that he'd been unable- up to this point- to show to anyone else but his brother, who ignored it, looking for the evil in him. "-I appreciate the kind words and the sentiments, but you've got to understand: there's no hope for someone like me..." He stared at her hand a moment, as she played with his fingers- careful to avoid the razor sharp claws. He chuckled, humorlessly. "I'll be honest with you: Aquios explained the situation to me. He explained the measures of his power and what he'd do to me if I killed you. I..." He was silent a moment, but swallowed and continued. "...I was scared of that outcome. Perhaps a part of me still exists that wishes to change, to make myself likable again. That's why I didn't crush your throat, and instead carried you back to my lair like some ogre. But make no mistake-" He looked up at her, that sadness gone, replaced with an emptiness as deep as the far reaches of space. "-If Aquios hadn't explained the situation, y o u ' d b e d e a d w h e r e y o u s t a n d ." His voice had taken on a cold, sinister tone, almost as if he wished he'd gotten to see this outcome occur. It was a sick fascination that he'd prayed he'd have to avoid, but knowing his father- what he was capable of- he doubted he'd be able to avoid it much longer. Right now, he felt fine. In control.
But how long would that last?
He didn't get to think on this, as once the silenced had settled, their server came up with their meals- a pair of identical sandwiches and their respective drinks. Slipping his hand out of Nyr's he took a long drink of his lemonade, and as he cooled down, immediately regretted saying all of what he'd said. He should've just mock-believed her, instead of being honest with her! That kind of evil he described would only turn her away! He mentally slapped himself as he set down his drink.
"Bon appetit." He said, a half-grin on his face, as he started on his sandwich, unable to look at Nyr out of embarrassment of himself.

Melchio - [battle Theme Playing]
Melchio watched on in horror as the battle raged on, his entire being tired, yet bubbling with an energy that was so familiar to him that it brought him back to his feet, despite being touched by Ikari- the demon. He shivered at the thought: being touched by his mortal enemy. His very energy made Melchio's aura and wings go into overdrive, filling him with a battle rage unlike what he'd ever sense before. He'd fought demons- most minor nuisances to him, but this brother of Vix's... he was powerful. Very powerful. Vix had the right idea, trying to knock out Mykky, but he'd gone about it wrong: he'd done very predictable, weak moves to try and knock her out. A punch and a kick could be protected against, as Mykky demonstrated by creating a skin-tight suit of wood to grow over her own skin to act as a barrier between the blows that Vix had tried to land, thus protecting herself from harm by letting the bark to absorb the damage she'd normally take from such powerful attacks.
"...Aquios. Listen to me." Melchio's eyes took on a glow- a glow that they rarely had to achieve thanks to his training with The Master. Again, he was going to have to use his body's full potential. "Go tell Nyr that her message will have to wait, and that wherever she is, she must try and make her way to where I'll be. Tell her to watch the skies. I'll send a signal across them that only I can make. For now-" He picked him up, and aimed him in the direction he'd seen him run from. "-I've got to get you out of harm's way. Forgive me lil' buddy!" Then, with all his might, he hurled Aquios away, sending him over a nearby building's roof, and into the back alleys near them. With that out of his mind, he turned to face Mykky, his jade eyes glowing with a great menace.
"I'm sorry I've got to do this to you, Mykky. I know you don't understand what's going on- if you did, you'd have killed that demon of Vix's brother on the spot, but..." A flash of light shot down from the heavens, illuminating Melchio, as if a cosmic spotlight were being shined upon him. "...Nobody touches my Kitsune like you and Vix's brother have, you got that?" Holding his hand out, an even brighter flash of light flashed in his palm, and it stretched into a line as tall as Melchio. Slowly, it filled itself out, until it was a staff of pure light. And, when the light faded, it was no longer just a staff- it was a polearm. Its hilt was a gold wood with a marble bottom, rounded as to make sure hits from that side were nonfatal. However, the other end- the end pointed to the sky- was a steel blade roughly as long as a ruler and a half-ruler put together. It sat upon a base of red marble that was connected to the wood.
"Damnit Melchio! Can't you see? Ikari's the only thing left of Vix's family, because Vix killed them! Ikari's come to hunt him down for his transgressions. Vix is evil, Ikari's good!" Mykky's rage was palpable, but it never reached Melchio, as he leapt into the sky, floating high above the raging battle field. He pointed the blade of his polearm at Mykky, as a ball of pure, white HOLY magic began to grow from the tip of the blade.
"That's not the issue here, Mykky." He said, his own anger washing off of him in waves that drowned Mykky's own rage in a sea of unbridled, uncontrollable emotion. "The issue, is that you attacked Vix. Nobody attacks Vix, and gets away with it." His eyes narrowed, and by now, they didn't need to be open for one to see the glowing jade rings that were his irises behind their lids. The ball had grown to its full size- roughly twice the size of a full, ripe watermelon. "Mykky! For your traitorous actions against Vix, I deem you worthy to be struck down! I, Melchio Degrass Legatus, STRIKE YOU DOWN!" From the HOLY ball on his polearm, hundreds of flashes of HOLY energy were launched, looking like tendrils of white-hot energy that shot at Mykky like homing missiles. Frillz, recognizing the threat, grabbed Mykky and held her close, his back to the attack. Along with this, a wall of vines engulfed them.
Even from leagues away, people could hear the tell-tale cracks of explosions destroying concrete. From within the destroyed restaurant, if Vix and Ikari were paying attention they'd see hundreds of those tendrils smashing into the wall of vines and Frillz, each causing an explosion whose heat they could feel from inside the restaurant. The explosions stacked up, until the only thing they could see was a wall of fire and heat, and Mykky and Frillz were lost to it. When the blasts finished, there wasn't a trace of green to be seen, and what remained of the garden Mykky had created was only a crater. She wasn't dead, though. She layed, unconscious and covered in debris with Frillz, at the bottom of the crater. Touching down, Melchio turned to the inside of the shop.
"I don't know who you are, Vix's brother, but I'm warning you right now: it's two against one, and that was just a taste of my power." He narrowed his eyes, pointing his polearm's blade at Ikari. "Don't make me strike you down, too."

$Heidt$
"Dark magic, huh?" Heidt muttered, popping up behind Falin and Malorn like he'd been there the entire time, glass and what appeared to be a knife slash peppering his face and clothes. "Well that sure is interesting. I do remember seeing some dark magic being thrown around not too long ago. But, eh..." He rolled his eyes, and if one looked closely, they could see the tell-tale sign of Heidt trying to make a deal. "...That kinda info don't come cheap, if you catch my drift." He grinned, wrapping his arm around Falin's neck- he would've done the same for Malorn, but he knew that Demon's didn't take kindly to the runes that traced his body- didn't take kindly in meant that the Grand Demon would start to sizzle, then fizz, then he'd... uh... pop.
"I won't ask for too much, but considering the armor you have, it's fair to say you have a fair amount of cash, yeah? I'll be takin' whatever you've got on ya as compensation for my info. Sound good to you Falin? Malorn?" He cast a fake-inquisitive glance at the two, his eyes practically shaped in the sign of the dollar. His greed. Some called it his downfall. He called it his bae, and she was gettin' hungry.
Nyr suppressed the blatant cold that rolled down her spine, making her sit up a little bit straighter and Falcon's words. They angered her, and her face twisted into a half scowl. She wasn't the dammed Grand Shaman for no reason, she had spent her years learning how to control her powers and how to read her opponents.

"...That kinda info don't come cheap, if you catch my drift." He grinned, wrapping his arm around Falin's neck- he would've done the same for Malorn, but he knew that Demon's didn't take kindly to the runes that traced his body- didn't take kindly in meant that the Grand Demon would start to sizzle, then fizz, then he'd... uh...pop.
He called it his bae, and she was gettin' hungry.
temporalSorceress said:Nyr suppressed the blatant cold that rolled down her spine, making her sit up a little bit straighter and Falcon's words. They angered her, and her face twisted into a half scowl. She wasn't the dammed Grand Shaman for no reason, she had spent her years learning how to control her powers and how to read her opponents. If she didn't think there was hope...
She shook the thought from her head and picked up her sandwich, taking a bite out of it and making sure to swallow it all before she even dared to speak again. She was still upset. A being like himself didn't seem to be the one to hesitate just because of a threat from a blob of water. She sighs a bit, taking a sip of her Dr. Pepper and tucking her hands under the table.
"I understand that that's what you think of yourself. When I became of age, I leveled my entire village in a tantrum because I didn't know what was happening to me. I destroyed my home, and I killed innocent people because I did not know how to control my powers. I know that the only thing you have to control is yourself, but if there's one thing I know..." She trailed off, working her jaw a bit as she fought to keep from yelling at him and smacking some sense into him.
"If I can control the dammed powers that threaten to rip me to shreds if I so much as think an evil thought, I can teach you to manage your hunger. I know who is right and who is wrong, I can point out the people you can devour freely to sate that dammed hunger. Do you want to live the rest of your life feeding aimlessly and having to push others away because of it? If you say yes, so help me Mother, I will stand up and I will walk away right now without ever looking back. I will mark you as my opponent, and I can not say what will happen should we meet again." She gripped the edge of the table under the table cloth, taking a bite of her sandwich with her free hand.
Nyr couldn't explain the intense desire to protect this being, or where it had even come from, but it was there. And it was ravenous. She took a deep breath and exhaled, letting go of the table as she did so. Taking another bite of her sandwich, Nyr fell into complete silence, only breaking it by the sip of her drink or her quiet chewing. That is, until Aquios returned and relayed the message from Melchio. She paled a bit but nodded, patting Aquios on the head and giving him some of her sandwich.
"That's alright, bud. I'll get it to him one way or another." She nuzzled her familiar and gave him some more of her sandwich before setting him back down and taking another sip of her soda. Her sandwich was quickly gone between her and Aquios, and she silently drank from her soda as she waited for Falcon to finish as well.
Nyr took his hand again, this time locking her fingers with his. When she looked at him, there was a new fire to her eyes. It wasn't anger, but something else that didn't quite have a name.Halohbottech said:

Falcon
Falcon was speechless, his jaw locked in a position to bite into his sandwich, yet unable to close down upon the treat. She... she leveled an entire village...? Then why the hell did she let him take her away like that when he was so close to killing her? Why had she stuck with him instead of killing him? Questions like that bounced around in his mind, making his mind a mess of confusion and mistrust. He trusted her fine, he just didn't trust himself. He was a monster, how could he? He couldn't trust what killed his family, his friends, his love. He couldn't trust that.
But could she teach him to trust himself? That thought was all but swept away, as she spoke again. Inside, he was reeling, his mind unable to fully process what she was offering him. She was offering him what he'd been searching for all his life: control. The chance he needed at being, at least somewhat, human. He bit his lip, whole form shaking. His entire being- even his soul, shook. His face, hidden in a deep shadow, was askew in a deep sadness that he felt in times of great pain. His whole body- even his soul- hurt. This feeling that he couldn't explain grew with every word she said, no matter how harsh.
"...No." He whispered, his tarnished gold eyes shining behind a sheen of wetness he hadn't felt in over a millennium. The wet couldn't leave his eyes, but it made breathing difficult, made his face feel like it was boiling. It made his shame simmer, and his brain fry, as every breath threatened to make the wetness fall. "I... I don't want you to be my enemy, Nyr. I couldn't imagine it. You've been so nice- too nice- to me: a monster. An abomination. I'm doing something in my life I've never done before; I'm begging you- don't be my enemy. A life like that... a life worse than this hell I've been put into... it isn't a life worth living." He couldn't meet her eyes, his own burning with the wetness that threatened at any moment to fall from his eyes and to the table below. He couldn't let himself become her enemy. He isn't even sure he could raise a claw against her now, even if he wanted to. He heard her talk to Aquios, but without knowing what Aquios had said, he figured she was talking about him, which made him inhale sharply. He took another bite of his sandwich. Another. And soon enough, he'd finished. When he was able to look up, his eyes were red, and they could see that she'd long since finished, and that she was pale, and that Aquios looked quite scared.
"Thank you. Sincerely. I suppose all we can do now, is wait."
