Mizuki ignored his question and kept walking. "Mizuki. Now shut up would you." She was in no way ready to deal with anyone after her outburst of rage and that included the moron following her.

Haruko Yamakage

"I'll have to leave my gear here and get some new stuff, so I'd say a week for a custom made weapon and so I could find a place to 'live' in Faereach." Following Kandra he chuckled, "But I'm sure I could make it three days if I just use my portals and get a custom made weapon if you'd like it quick."

Kazuhiro Tomioka

"Alright, now how about we get something to eat. Any requests?" Kazuhiro stood up and walked to the kitchen grabbing out food from the fridge and cupboards. "Mizuki made me learn how to cook so I got a few recipes I could cook up."

Ryd Moerae

"A-are you sure you're up for cooking?" Ryd asked hesitantly as she stood up to follow him. "I mean...if you need I'm glad to do so..." She added. "I wonder how she's faring against Kandra though...think she'll be alright?"

Kandra Bal Magna

"Make it so." He said as he walked to his vault. "Have my head blacksmith and enchanter help you. You have access to my more 'rare' alloys." He said. "Tell me if you need anything for your disguise, I'll see what I can get from my vault." He added as he opened the vault door. Inside was a black void filled with multiple stars of different colors. He stepped in and started to float. "I'll be in my vault...looking for something..." He said.

A fancy tuxedo was thrown into a random trashcan outside the bar. Rex was wearing his normal cloths and trench coat

"A-are you sure you're up for cooking?" Ryd asked hesitantly as she stood up to follow him. "I mean...if you need I'm glad to do so..." She added. "I wonder how she's faring against Kandra though...think she'll be alright?"

"Make it so." He said as he walked to his vault. "Have my head blacksmith and enchanter help you. You have access to my more 'rare' alloys." He said. "Tell me if you need anything for your disguise, I'll see what I can get from my vault." He added as he opened the vault door. Inside was a black void filled with multiple stars of different colors. He stepped in and started to float. "I'll be in my vault...looking for something..." He said.

"Of course I can, I may seem beat up but it feels more like a weekly train with Mizuki." Kazuhiro shivered and looked toward his door. "As for Mizuki I think she's back... and not happy..." Chuckling nervously he turned to the kitchen. "Now what do you want to eat?"

Stepping back Haruko chuckled nervoursly, "You don't mean the astral alloy do you! Or the void alloy! those literally absorb magic and reflect it back, you've never even let anyone but your blacksmith even try to use it let alone for something like this!" Waiting for an answer he glanced in the vault that even he had barely any knowledge of. "I mean I could get all the gear and set up with little trouble but are you having me do an operation that serious?!"

Rex straitened his collar and stuffed his hands in his pockets, then wandered down the street "Boring city"

The blade seemed to radiate with some sort of energy. Kandra then crumpled it and compressed it into 5 bars. "Eternesian Alloy. The third time it's being used." He chuckled.

"That's still some hefty gear you're giving me... I suspect you have some extra things for me to do since we're using that." Accepting the bars he immediately started planning. "Well if we're going this tough I'll make something light... no medium, I can use magic to make it lighter... even better, I'll go back to an old time style." Turning he started to walk to the blacksmith. "You'll update my telepathically I presume so I won't hesitate."

"Well I'll admit the potato thing was a surprise but I'm cool with steak since I'm feeling up for one too." He looked at the cloak and asked it a question which he was obviously going to need a translation for. "How do you want the potato. Also how cooked do you want your steak?" Turning he grabbed out the ingredients for all the food and started preparing the steaks.

We'd have access to each other's shadows for our spells and therefore could counter our spells infinitly so long as we can stand, at that point it'd be a competition of physical strength. Which she'd still win. Honestly the only people I know that match her strength or are stronger is her family, the two high elves at the school, and Kandra as far as I know." Chuckling he checked the steaks and took a bite of his despite it being hot. "Mmmm, almost done." Chuckling again he continued, "Shadow magic uses pure arcane energy and simply manipulates, creates, destroys, and transports shadows. As long as you have the energy you can do almost anything with a shadow as small as an ant. It's an older magic, not quite ancient like dragon magic and forbidden magic but its almost equal in strength. Also Mizuki has an exclusive spell that not even her family has, making her the strongest when she uses it. Those purple eyes? That's it. It's a forbidden spell but exclusive to shadow magic, the upsides to it is it increases her magic strength, physical strength, and gives her access to some really old shadow magic. Not only that but she can counter and manipulate any other shadow spells and is virtually unstoppable unless someone's got a major ace up their sleeve. Going back to the people I said who could probably match her."

Until then I'd like to not be disturbed, even by you if that's okay. The more time I have to get ready the sooner I can begin."

On cue, the cloak leaped up to her and she put it on. "This cloak...is the result of years of collecting bits of other people's souls and weaving them together." She said as the cloak switched colors rapidly. "At this point I've lost track of the things it can do...but I still remember what I'm not supposed to do with it..." She added. "Which brings me to my point. Can I have a teeny tiny piece of your soul? It grows back, don't worry."

Rex yawned and lit his cig, then walked through the city, making his way towards the edge of town, and still continuing. Perhaps he could find a way off this Boring Place.

"My...magic...I gather the Soulthreads of others and if some of them...for lack of better term...synchronize with each other then I unlock a new ability..." She said as the cloak switched color to blue then yellow. "Sometimes,..if someone's soul is strong enough I gain something else." The cloak turned gray and gray glowing thread burst out the back. The threads came together around her arms and soon formed two miniature black sickles. "I can also interact with the souls of others. Removing bits or chunks, implanting those into others, or...removing one altogether." The weapons dispersed into threads once more and disappeared into the cloak. "And just water will do."

Nyr

Nyr noticed Falcon's dozing off, and she giggled quietly to herself when he fully conked out. She watched the rest of the movie quietly, running her thumb over the back of Falcon's hand occasionally. When the movie ended, Nyr glanced at Falcon and huffed a bit, standing up and moving so that she was standing in front of him. She leaned over, placing both of her hands against his cheeks and lifting his head up right so that she could comfortable press her forehead against his, eyes slipping shut as she exhaled a little bit and summoned up a little bit of her power to start pouring heat into his body.


"Come on, sleepy head. I can't carry you out of here by myself. I'm too short, and you're too heavy." She murmured softly, keeping her eyes shut. Aquios lept onto Falcon's lap and warbled, also asking him to wake up just for the sake of his master. Nyr eventually opened her eyes and pulled away a little bit, keeping her hands in contact with his face as she waited to see if he would wake up. If not, she supposed could always use her powers to carry him out of here, but that might look kind of weird to anyone passing by. That and it would still take a lot of energy to lift his mass. It wasn't like she could just get off scott free using her powers like that. She absently brushed her thumb over his cheek bone, tilting her head a little as she stared down at him. He seemed...happy. The thought brought a smile to her face. It wasn't long before she felt a growing sense of something...familiar, yet strange all the same. She frowned, turning her head just in time to catch a glimpse of burning fire and silky black as she was tackled to the ground by a familiar face. She squealed out a noise of happiness, wrapping her arms tightly around the one person she thought she'd never see again.


"Illoi! I'm so glad to see you! But- how? How are you here? Why are you here?" She momentarily forgot about Falcon as her long-time friend held her pinned to the ground by her shoulders, grinning from ear to ear with an unmistakable fire in her eyes. Literally. Nyr had forgotten how amazing her friends eyes were. They were colored like living embers, and Nyr could easily get lost in their warmth.

Illoi

Illoi remembered pleading with the Earth Mother to reunite her with Nyr when she woke up the next morning, she didn't expect to find herself somewhere...entirely different than what there world was. She had been disoriented and confused, having to readjust to the atmosphere and the change almost made her sick. When she gained her bearing, she remembered seeing a familiar puff of blonde hair disappear into something called cinema, hanging off the arm of some...creature. That thought alone was enough to make Illoi's blood boil, but she stamped it out with the sheer joy of getting to see her friend again. She had tried calling after her, but it didn't work. So she waited. Once she saw people leave the theater, she snuck in. It wasn't hard, really. Well, unless you account for the giant, flaming elemental that stood about 8 feet tall in his miniature form. She managed it, though, and while familiar stood guard, she ran into the theater. She ecstatic to see her friend, and decided to surprise her by tackling her to the ground. She was pleased with the reaction it had elicited. Once Nyr stopped babbling, Illoi started to answer her questions.


"I asked the Earth Mother to reunite me with you, and She sent me to this bizarre place. At first, I thought it was a mistake. I am glad to see it was not." Her accent was a lot thicker than Nyr's but she seemed able to speak just fine. She scooped Nyr up in a big hug before turning a skeptical eye towards Falcon.


"I see we've been making a new friend. Is he...friendly towards you?" She asked bluntly, and Nyr turned a light shade of red. Illoi giggled a bit, taking that as a good enough answer before standing up, pulling Nyr to her feet. Standing next to each other, it was easy to see that Illoi towered a good foot over Nyr, and had a more athletic build than she did. That only came from years of working the forge, however, and she never really tested her strength unless it was to see if a sword or axe would bend or break. She kept an arm around Nyr's shoulders, looking between the two as she awaited an explanation. Deep down, she was a bit upset that Nyr would even think about befriending a male without letting Illoi know, especially a...snake...thing...at that. But she figured she'd listen to an explanation first, for once, before she let her anger show.

Vix

Vix smiled happily at melchio and though this guy really did care about him a lot. He used his fingers to wipe the tears that were coming from Melchio’s eyes. he then said with a soft voice “Of course I’m ok, I’m a little beat up but for the most part I’m good, plus I got you with me. Like I told you before I’m just to stubborn to die.” He laughed at his own comment because in a situation like this laughter was the best way to calm himself and others down. He tightens his grip on melchio hand to make sure he was actually there and not an illusion. He sighed and stated “you really save me back there, handsome. If you weren’t there to scare my brother off, then idk what would have happened. I really need to get stronger or figure out my power because I don’t think that’s the last we seen of him.” It was one of the few moments where you could tell vix was serious and not making a joke of the world.


He quickly went back to his usually persona and started to look around the room and said “this hospital needs to really step their game up. if I was at full strength I could heal everyone here in a 2 hours, they really aren’t good at their job.” He laughed really hard but then winced from the pain he was feeling. Damn that must have been karma for belittle the doctors and nurses here he thought to himself.


He turned his attention back to melchio and said sweetly “looks like I’m going to have to make up for this date. Look melchio I’m going to be fine don’t worry ok, as long as I got you by my side I’m sure I’ll make a full recovery.” He held melchio hand tightly and reassured him that he will be fine and that everything will work itself out. “I’ll let you in on a secret about kitsune’s, we are spirits and we can live forever, so the only real way to kill us is to cut are tails. So as long as I got all 9 of these I will be by your side Babe.” He said pointing at his tails and smiling. He won’t let anyone take away his life, after years of struggling and pain, he is happy. He finally has someone in his life so he will fight tooth and nail to keep both of them safe and alive.

Falcon
​

Falcon frowned in his sleep, trying his best to stay asleep, but alas not even he can control his metabolism. Soon enough, his eyes creaked open, and blinked slowly as his body adjusted to the new heat coursing through his veins. Wiping the back of his mouth in case he'd drooled in his sleep, he stood, stretching an arm to the sky, trying his best to get loose. Twisting his neck, he turned it a near 180 degrees both ways, groaning as his body tried to wake up. Finally, he noticed Nyr wasn't in her seat. Frowning, he set Aquios on his shoulder before turning around to face Nyr and... her friend.


She looked tough-for a human, that is- and had skin like chocolate. She was faintly reminiscent of Nyr, but her fiery eyes and pitch-black hair gave her an air of royalty that Nyr didn't quite exude, despite being this great shaman. Ugh. Just looking at her annoyed him- her eyes especially. He could tell one of them was going to have a bad time.


"...Who's the girl?" He asked, his voice low and tinged with a steady mix of anger and caution. He couldn't tell why, but he didn't like how friendly this character was with Nyr. It made this horrible feeling grow in his chest, making him narrow his eyes and keep his hands clenched into tight balls in his pockets. He felt like punching this girl, but kept himself in line: if this was Nyr's friend... he'd keep his cool.

 

[Knightling]

Rex arrived at the edge of town and glanced back, then turned and began to walk away, making his way through the grasslands.

Senki Tazuya

The roar of a massive dragon echoed throughout Faereach. If one looked up they could see a small figure darting around it like a fly, appparently fighting the fierce beast. If one looked with binoculars or other such visual enhancement tools, they could see a figure that paled in size comparison darting around the dragon and stabbing it with a spear occassionally. If they looked several seconds later they could see said figure get sliced with the dragons claws, pause mid-air, and summarily get swatted down to the ground with the dragons tail before it flew off. Upon hitting the ground somewhere in the grasslands a small crater is formed followed by a loud crash, the armor and lance dissapears to reveal a barely concious girl. "Atsuko. Find some help buddy." She mumbled before coughing. A few moments later and no response. "Damn..too weak to even call Atsuko huh?" She spoke to herself.


Groaning she shakily hefted herself up and stumbled out of the crater, only to fall flat on her face about five inches from it. She retained conciousness, but only barely.

Allison woke up with a yawn, she debated on poking Sage awake but decided against it. She was extremely sore from the previous events, but shrugged it off nonetheless. Seeing as he'd cooked for her and helped her, she figured she could at-least cook breakfast for the three of them. Creeping out of the door, down the stairs, and finally to the kitchen she set to work making bacon and eggs. Which was..most of what she knew how to cook.

 

[Isune]

Ken was just enjoying some time in the grass lands, looking at the group of people who were meeting up until he saw something falling from the sky. The moment he heard a massive crash followed by a crater in the ground Ken was about to turn tail and run as far away from the place as possible. However, once he saw that it was a girl and suddenly stepped towards her. Once she fell on her face he quickly rushed over and put her onto her back,"Hey, are you okay? I can help you, that is...if you want me to." While waiting for the girl to respond, Ken's hands began to glow a light blueish that created two odd magic circles in front of his hands.

Guess I'm not going to make it this time.. she thought to herself, breathing heavily. Then she felt herself being moved, had someone actually seen her? Blinking and trying to get her vision to not be blurry she looked up at the person that rolled her over. Coughing she nodded weakly in reply. She didn't bother to comment on his rather dumb question on her being okay, she was just happy she wasn't going to die.

Ken nodded as he extended both arms out and shook his head,"Someone...please, help her." Suddenly, the magic circles disappeared before reappearing twice as large and both separated before revealing a man in a lab-coat. At first, the man looked around before seeing Ken and smiling,"Ah, little one! How are you?" He then turned to see the hurt girl before him and smirked,"Ah, this'll be the perfect opportunity to test out my new healing elixir." He then reached into his lab-coat and pulled out a vial with some odd green liquid in it. Ken quickly stepped forward and eyed the liquid,"Uh, are you sure that's safe for consumption professor?" The professor had the look of a mad man in his eyes as he pushed Ken out of the way, picked up the girl, and poured the liquid down her throat,"I have no idea! One of two things is going to happen. One: She'll be healed of all injuries. Or two: Some 'marvelous' side effects may happen. Now we wait." Said the professor as he sat on the grassy ground and waited. Ken on the other hand, backed away much farther than the professor had. He knew the "side effects" of his elixirs and knew if anything were to happen he'd best hide for cover.

Senki looked confused as Ken asked for someone to help her. She thought he was the one that was going to help her, instead he seemed to be doing some magical 911 call. She didn't question it, if it helped her live she would be willing to do just about anything right now. She watched curiously as a old man in a lab coat appeared, saying something about a healing elixir and Ken asking if it was safe to drink. Before he answered him she was picked up and the foul tasting liquid was poured down her throat, or maybe it was the liquid mixing with the blood in her mouth. Coughing violently as she was sat back down her eyes widened at the mention of 'side effects'. She could feel herself being healed, so hopefully no 'marvelous' side effects would happen.


Groaning when she stopped coughing she eventually slowed her breathing to normal levels. Little did she know her left eye had turned deep blue while her right eye remained the same dark purple it was meant to be. She still felt like she had gotten hit by a truck, but she was alive and not actively dying. Slowly she sat hersef up and looked around, then she spotted Ken while he wasn't so blurry, as well as the old man. Standing she ran over to Ken and hugged him. "Thank you so much, I thought I was going to die for sure." She told him, starting to cry.
