Powers:
Master of Dreams- Elijah can cause people to go to sleep for whatever duration he wills (within reason). In addition, Elijah can sense people's desires and fears, and if he focuses, he can cause people to perceive such things as being real. Lastly, Elijah can manipulate the dreams of a sleeping individual if he's in physical contact with them.
I have to agree on this.Alright, so I think the whole ability to make people fall asleep is a bit much even with limitations, I mean if you had the other players permission maybe, but I also don't see much use for it plot progression wise. It makes him feel just a tad bit OP to me. I think he has to wait until the other players either allow him to see their desires or fears or they have to be asleep for him to see them. Sense is power is 'Master of Dreams' and not 'Illusionist.' The very last part makes sense with the title of the power. I also don't really see how his power, while interesting, will benefit the roleplay. That's just my opinion though. PippyOmega

No worries, I totally get it.
I see your point. Perhaps it can all be limited by physical contact? Like, he could only put people to sleep, or see their hopes and fears and all, without touching them. Would that help? And of course, he wouldn't put a "PC" to sleep without me having checked with the owner first irl. As for how it will benefit the roleplay, I would counter that such powers as "controlling fire" or "water manipulation" or even polymorphing don't directly serve the plot but can be very interesting, depending on their use. Likewise, the manipulation of dreams, or indeed, even the knowledge of a character's hopes and fears can make for some very interesting development between characters.
So, with that in mind...new reactions?
