lol i promise xD worst comes to worst ya have your ears ringing for awhile.

oh side note he is allowed to be bullied! anyone can bully him c: just have fun trying to fight him
Can Jane bully him? ;)

Heya guys, this looks really interesting and I'm working on a character, but is there any more background hidden somewhere? The most I can find of a story is the little blurb in the initial post... or is that what's intended? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything when I make my CS

Sorry for the late response lol and by all means sure :D if you don't mind being paralyzed for a bit if you attack him just by pressure points lol and he'll miss more than an likely
All good.

Jane just likes to torment people.

Physical weakness and poor combat can be really made one weakness.
The power itself is unique in my opinion, it's just that I feel like there are more strengths than weakness if you combined the similar ones.

But that's just me

Powers:
Master of Dreams- Elijah can cause people to go to sleep for whatever duration he wills (within reason). In addition, Elijah can sense people's desires and fears, and if he focuses, he can cause people to perceive such things as being real. Lastly, Elijah can manipulate the dreams of a sleeping individual if he's in physical contact with them.

Alright, so I think the whole ability to make people fall asleep is a bit much even with limitations, I mean if you had the other players permission maybe, but I also don't see much use for it plot progression wise. It makes him feel just a tad bit OP to me. I think he has to wait until the other players either allow him to see their desires or fears or they have to be asleep for him to see them. Since the power is 'Master of Dreams' and not 'Illusionist.' The very last part makes sense with the title of the power. I also don't really see how his power, while interesting, will benefit the roleplay. That's just my opinion though. PippyOmega PippyOmega

I have to agree on this.

I see your point. Perhaps it can all be limited by physical contact? Like, he could only put people to sleep, or see their hopes and fears and all, without touching them. Would that help? And of course, he wouldn't put a "PC" to sleep without me having checked with the owner first irl. As for how it will benefit the roleplay, I would counter that such powers as "controlling fire" or "water manipulation" or even polymorphing don't directly serve the plot but can be very interesting, depending on their use. Likewise, the manipulation of dreams, or indeed, even the knowledge of a character's hopes and fears can make for some very interesting development between characters.

So, with that in mind...new reactions?

Fire manipulation is useful. How else are they to cook or stay warm? It has uses.
Water is essential to survival, having someone who can sense water and purify it makes things easier.
Now, polymorphing....it's not a plot-driven power and I understand that. However, it has it's uses. Such as scouting or exploring and such. And Jay was created more for the character Jane than for the plot. and because i really liked the image but couldn't think of a power that involved butterflies XD

I can see while it is helpful for character development, but this rp is both plot and character driven. I can see the physical contact working, but I don't know. I'm not really a fan of character's that can see into the mind of others. Which is why Jay and Jane can only read each other's mind and not everyone else's. I think this kind of powers just doesn't fit the roleplay. But if you really think you can handle them, I say give it a shot with PippyOmega PippyOmega 's permission, however, if a negative reaction occurs.....
I think it would be easier just to think of a new power (that doesn't involve shadow since we have a lot of that.}
