And i imagine Merri will be there to try and patch him up afterward. I see there being a time when Cass is so frustrated at the training that he accidentally snaps at Merri when she tries to help him.

I just see her getting startled and then running out of the room crying. she’d probably hide herself away somewhere until like Hadley or Alaric found her. She’d mainly be upset because he snapped at her and her insecurity of feeling like she’s useless and can’t do anything would be coming back.

Poor thing would probably get more upset if Hadley found her and asked her that xD she might just cry more until Hadley brought Alaric or something, who probably would scoop her up and take her to her room so she could calm down enough to tell him, to which he’d probably go and find Cass, pick him up by his scruff and drag him to Merri so they can fix things xD and while they talk he’d be standing in the corner with his arms crossed to make sure things got fixed xD

But I totally imagine Merri and Hadley bonding somewhat as Merri tries to do cute, semi mother daughter activities. Like she wants to brush Hadley's hair or something and Alaric convinces her to be nicer to the teen so Hadley agrees.

Pretty much, and that’s when Merri finally admits to Cass all of her insecurities about how he’s so overprotective that she feels like he thinks she can’t take care of herself, how she wishes he’d trust her more, etc.
Oh yeah, because she never got to do those things with her own mom. Alaric would definitely talk with Hadley about that. That would be cute.

Of course, and he still needs his little sister, she is the only family he has left after all. Cass will be slower to accept Hadley and Alaric in a parental ligt, given he remembers their parents.

So, should Merri be found first, or Cass, I had thought that if Merri manages to hide then Hadley and Alaric could find Cass while he's looking for her.

If Merrina is found first, she’d probably end up bumping into them on accident while running away from Cass. And then they would see the amulet, and realize that’s who they’re looking for. They’d grab her, and use her as leverage to get Cass to join them once they found him.
If Cass was found first, Merrina would probably go into hiding, and then when she came out of hiding would be when she’d probably spot them with Cass, and try and stop them somehow? (“Leave my brother alone!”)
They might recognize Merrinas amulet before they recognize Cass’s tattoo, since I imagine the tattoo is hidden better?

Well Cass's tattoo is covered up at the moment, so it would probably be easier if Merri was found first and they used her to get Cass to cooperate.
I had a though they could cause a scene in the place and the crew could tear through the port as they leave.

Ooh yeah, that would be fun if they’re just wreaking havoc in the port trying to find Merrina. Maybe like while trying to find Merri, Cass accidentally bumps into Alaric or Hadley, so they grab him by the shirt to be like “watch it kid” only to see the tattoo, and then when Cass refuses to tell them where Merri is, they tear through the port?
