I had a scary thought, what if something terrible happened to Hadley, either she was kidnapped or injured by someone or if some unknown enitiy had possessed her, turning her against the crew and stuff.
Alaric would have to fight her, I actually debated giving her some weird magical powers that a\may be demonic in nature.

Ooh, that would be fun. I had actually had a similar though about someone using Alaric and his kitsune genes to take control of him and send him on a rampage with his rage state. Like some secret trigger that he had no idea about. Could be interesting if it’s Hadley instead.

I'm thinking Hadley is going to have some shadow/ fire manipulation, but she's not going to use those powers unless she has to. She prefers fighting without her magic and I imagine a lot of people don't know she has it, Alaric of course is an exception to that rule.
Initially when I made her she had a contract with a demon to give her these powers, but in this instance, perhaps she was born with them, perhaps she was touched by dark magic thanks to her parents or something...
OOoh, we could have it Alaric is controled and forced to fight them and its in that fight Hadley reveals her powers to the crew (and kids) and that enemy escapes. Later on when they come back they manipulate Hadley and maybe even take her away.

I’d say shadow powers, since I was thinking that Solaria would have some kind of fire manipulation from being the phoenix key.
Yeah, that would work. Not entirely sure what would trigger him to be controlled, but that would be a good start to reveal the powers. Then there would be an aspect to Alaric of always having to keep an eye out for that trigger again. Then they could go after Hadley. Maybe they could try and manipulate Hadley into trying to take Solaria for her key?

I mean that sounds cool either way, and shadow powers are more than enough for Hadley to be well, ridiclous when necessary.
And the trigger could be seeing Hadley injured, or perhaps the enemy triggers some unsavory memories, like the death of his mother. I actually have a bad guy we could use for that, an evil lich like creature out for her own gain.
She's been known to enslave gods and stuff to achieve her goals.
Oh and speaking of gods...and lore, I actually had an idea for the dragon relics and stuff, a little background on them that I figured would be apart of the lgend hadley and alaric know about.

xD No worries, I've been there.
The lore was fairly simple. Dragons were once revered as the perfect race, some saw them as gods, others saw them as the messengers of them. All that is known for certain is that as man (and the other races) evolved, dragons were hunted for their immense power.
Common trophies of such hunts were scales, teeth claws and even preserved eyes and other organs.
I had thought that this mighty relic might be a piece of one of the last dragons, which was rumored to be the most powerful, and that a piece of it was hidden away in a time long ago. And the keys to unlocking it stem from an image, painted in that dragons blood, and an eye, which could be the pendant Merri has.
It could also be something else relating to this dragon, like a crystallized tear or something slightly less gruesome.

Ooh, that’s interesting. So that would be Cass’s tattoo and her amulet. I like the crystallized tear idea.
Maybe the item of power they’re looking for has to do with the dragon?
Could still have it where they manipulate Hadley into like stealing Merrinas amulet and like kidnapping Cass or something.

I thought the item in question could be either an eye, or heart or something like that, a physical piece of the dragon that was hidden away after someone long ago realized it's power was too dangerous.

You know, all this talk of Hadley and Alaric, and I had a funny thought for Cass and Merri.
It was Merri trying to get Cass and Hadley to get along, so she planned a tea party, invited them both, and they sat there playing along with her while she was hosting xD

That would be amazing xD i also imagine Alaric being there and just totally having a wonderful time, drinking tea like it’s the most normal thing in the world to do. Cass and Hadley just staring at him like “dude what are you doing?” And he’s giving them a look like “I’m drinking tea at a tea party what are you doing”

I just imagine all of them sitting in small chairs at a doll sized table with small tea cups and Merri and Alaric are having a blast and Hadley is gritting her teeth trying not to break the damn cups and Cass just looks so done.
It would be wonderful xD And I think Hadley will also develop a soft spot for Merri, her sweet disposition will be too hard to resist. Plus, Alaric doting on her will make Hadley want to a little.
