More like, just having Earl blow up and knowing my chosen antagonists' tendencies to have powers related to reality. I plan on having the explosion return all the characters back to the events of the festival, albeit, some having faint memories of the previous reality.

Something like that, yeah.

That does sound good, b-but all our hard work up until this point... All the characters that had to be sacrificed.

Okay, after brainstorming with the other moderators, we should have a vote.

Our ideas are as follows:

  1. No reset. Continue from where we left off directly.
  2. Reset A: Resets at the day of the festival itself, the events from chapter 1 & 2 will occur again with some changes, some characters having faint memories of the event.
  3. Reset B: Resets a FEW DAYS BEFORE THE FESTIVAL. Selected characters will remember everything that happened and will be devote themselves along with Oswald Burton to stopping the invasion during the Festival.

I find myself torn between one and three.

I lean more towards one, as I would like to see events progress from where they now lay, but it does carry the issue of players who will not be returning, having characters in the middle of actions and interactions.

Three carries the issue that, if not all involved characters are selected, then others may be left wanting for attention, this could be alleviated by having all characters retain their memories, and could lead to some interesting interactions involving characters who are less than willing to assist in ceasing the events at the Festival. (Remilia comes to mind, lol.)

After saying all that out loud, I'd say I lean towards three more.

By the "selected" we mean that the chars who can return will be retaining their memories because we will have to wait for the others. (If I'm right......)

Then what if someone like Animegirl or Archer come back? That would mean their character's memories would be lost with our characters currently knowing what will happen and how they can stop it.

You mean, while we're already continuing?

What about Apris and Feum.
I'm thinking Feum would still have allegiance with the Arconian but as for Apris, I plan to have her join the heroes earlier than intended.
