Fantasy Everything Is Not As It Seems...

"But it hurts!" Lake snapped before gasping for air, tears going down her face. "Just one, please. One like last time." She asked as she leaned into Cole and cried on his shoulder. "It hurts so bad…"

"Tobias how long till we get there" I shouted. "We're about an hour out, just sit tight" he said calmly back.

((1.5 Hours later))

We stepped off the plane, which had landed at a private airport in London, and got into 2 Black cars that were waiting for us. Aurora, Sapphira and I went in the first, Tobias, Cole and Lake in the 2nd. Lake's medicine had finally kicked in, so that helped a lot. I sat next to Aurora in the back. I still wasn't really saying anything to her, because of the way she had completely shut me out when I tried to help her.

I sat next to the window, laying my head against it. I hadn't stopped crying since the plane, and I was exhausted. My head had started hurting against the window, so I switched my position and cautiously laid my head on his shoulder.

Cole was sitting next to Lake the whole time. He was more concerned about the girl, than himself, but speaking of him, he felt tired, and his head was a bit aching. Whether it was the monotonous voice of the plane, or something else, he did not know. He just wanted to get some sleep on a comfortable bed, and start a new day rested.

Lake was exhausted to say the least. She was tired and the injection had finally kicked in, which just leaved her in a tired numb mess. She looked out the window and saw the road pass them. "Hey, Tobias?" She asked tired. "Why did you ever take us away from our home?" She didn't look at the man, she just kept staring out the window.

"Because we need you" Tobias said factually "If we didn't absolutely need you, we wouldn't have"

After awhile we arrived outside a hotel. "We will stay here tonight and head to the school tomorrow" Tobias said as we got out of the cars "Unfortunately there are 5 of you and only 3 rooms with one bed per room, so decide amongst yourselves what happens there" He gave me 3 sets of keys and walked into his room, shutting and locking the door. "Well guys, I guess the way to do this is" I said, but felt a little bad to say the next part "Lake and Cole, me and Aurora and Sapphira." I glanced at Aurora and said "Unless you want me to take the 1 person room instead of Sapphira" The question sounded like it was directed at the whole group, but it was more just to Aurora.

"I'll share with her." Lake said and grabbed a key. "She's the only one who hasn't managed to piss me off yet." With that she grabbed Sapphira's wrist and pulled the girl into a room before she collapsed on her side the bed and fell asleep. She was too tired to argue with anyone, she just wanted to sleep and never wake up. She didn't want to think of tomorrow either… Lake had never been good in school or making friends… Talking a deep breath she stopped thinking and went quiet, not even caring how the other girl was looking at her now.

"Give me the solo then." Told Cole to Oliver. He didn't mind it as long as everyone else was fine with it.

I nodded and handed Cole the keys to his room, and then unlocked and walked into our room. "Home sweet home" I commented, to the fairly nice looking hotel room. I sat on the edge of the bed and put my head in my hands.

I sat on the floor with my back against the wall and finally managed to stop the tears. "Sorry.....about earlier, I mean," I said quietly, unable to look him in the eyes. I felt bad about snapping at him, and I didn't know what else to say.

Cole went into his room, dropped the keys on the table, and after looking around he laid down on his bed. It was quiet. Surprisingly. He enjoyed it though, and soon, he fell asleep.

"You...You think thats what I'm worried about right now, that you snapped a little at me?" I said standing up and pulling her up by her arm so she was only a few inches away from me, upright "When you ran back into that facility with no warning and then got shot... you can never do that to me again. Please, never just run off like that you scared the living s*** out of me." I was close to tears but I was doing a good job of holding them in.

"I've said it before. I'm a big girl. I can take care of myself. I knew what I was doing," I said, my voice still somewhat shaky. I was glad that he cared about me, but I wasn't leaving my journal. "I won't." I was barely able to get the words out before looking down.

I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into a tight hug. "I'm sorry about your mom" I said as I stroked her back slowly "I...I never knew that it was so...personal."

I stayed silent and hugged him back, unsure of wha to say. I started crying once against the thought ran through my mind. "She tried to kill me. Lake I mean. I fought her, but I wouldn't kill her...but she tried to kill me," I said after taking a deep breath.

I nodded. "I know, and I'm sorry about that" I said sympathetically "And I'm sorry about that, but you have to try and find a way to just ignore her completely, so you don't get into it with her, okay?" Before waiting for an answer, I tilted her chin up and kissed her gently.

I blushed slightly as I kissed him back. I slowly pulled away and laid down on the bed. It was comfortable, but I wasn't that tired. How in the hell can I ignore the devil I thought and sighed softly.

I lay down next to Aurora and took her hand. I looked at her and smiled.I leaned really close to her and whispered "I love you" . It was a big deal to say that to people, to me, but I knew I was saying what I felt and it was the truth.

I dropped my jaw in shock as I looked at him, disbelief etching my face. I slowly started to smile, and I leaned over, kissing him passionately. "I love you, too," I whispered once I pulled away. I blushed lightly and laid back, closing my eyes.

I kept her hand clasped in mine, and closed my eyes even though I wasn't tired. Back to school tomorrow I though Good thing for me cause thats the place people usually like me. Eventually, I drifted slowly off to sleep, still clutching Aurora's hand.

I watch him sleep for a while before finally falling asleep myself. When I woke up, it was barely light outside. I yawned and sat up, holding my head tightly.

I woke up when I felt movement in the room. My senses had obviously become a lot more alert at all times after the previous days events. It was just Aurora, she was up really early though. "Hey" I said drowsily, sitting with my back against the backboard of the bed "What's wrong? Its like 4 in the morning?"

I looked over and gave him a small smile, "I've gotta go get some things. I'll be back soon." I yawned softly and threw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. After I got my shoes on, I went over to him and kissed his cheek gently. "Get some sleep," she said quietly, just above a whisper.

"Be careful" I said as I lay down again "We don't know who the hell those people are but we know they don't like us" And with that I was out again.

I sighed to myself and walked out. I silently made my way down the hallway. Once I got outside, I looked both ways before walking to a nearby store. I got some boxes of hair dye and makeup before making my way to the counters after I paid, I grabbed the bags and walked out, going back to the hotel. It was just starting to lighten up some outside, so I sighed and shook my head. I went back inside and straight to the room, sitting my stuff down
