Fantasy Everything Is Not As It Seems...

We eventually reached the exit, and I pushed the red button as hard as I could. The plate slid open quickly and I stood at the entrance ushering the others through. "COME ON GUYS WE GOTTA GO" I screamed above the noise of gunfire that was now filling the air.

Sapphira darted outside. "How long have you known about this," she asked flatly. It was really more of an accusatory statement; how could they have not told her they had known where the exit was? She was hurt.

I looked back realizing I forgot my journal and stopped at the exit. I glanced at the others before turning around, "Go! I'll catch up later," I said and carefully making my way back to my room.

"GO GET TO TOBIAS" I shouted before running after Aurora "Where are you going" I called as I managed to catch up to her and was now running behind her.

I went back into my room and grabbed my journal off the floor, "I'd rather die than leave this." I ran out and made my way back to the exit, but not without feeling a sharp pain shoot through my thigh. I get to the exit and quickly go outside.

"C'mon, we need to get somewhere safe," Sapphira said to Cole and Lake. She searched the area. "Maybe we can hide in the trees over there?" she suggested, pointing. "It's all I've got..."

I ran back after her, not before one of the storming troops saw me running through the hall, and managed to clip me on my side, near my hip, with a pistol bullet. I screamed in pain but managed to get out the door. When I was out, I sent a bolt of electricity at the red button, short circuiting it, causing it to close and not be able to open without voice command. Tobias appeared at the edge of the tree line. "THIS WAY" He screamed motioning for us to follow him. We did, and we quickly got to a small clearing in the trees where a large, black plane was waiting for us with the stairs already down. "In, in, in" he shouted, and I did as I was told.

As Cole went where Sapphira pointed, and later they headed to to black plane to get on it. He let Sapphire get up first, and then, after himself getting on too, he gentely placed Lake onto something soft.

"Ow…" Lake winched and started to hyperventilate and felt her heart beat against her chest again, just like yesterday. "I-I can't breathe." She hissed as she felt her blood pressure rise dangerously high. As tears fell from her face, she coughed into her hand coughing up blood. "Tobias, what's going on?!" She asked and she heard bullets hit the plane.

I managed to get myself into the plane before collapsing onto a seat. I looked down at my leg only to met with the sight of blood pouring out of it. I could tell by the amount of blood that the bullet had hit an artery. As the adrenaline in me decreased, I screamed in pain and held the would tightly.

"Not now" He said, and ordered the pilot to take off. The Plane made a miraculous vertical take off, and we sped away from the facility. Tobias came towards me and I shook my head quickly, pointing towards Aurora. "Her first" I said, clutching my side to stop the bleeding. He complied, and brought the medical supplies over to Aurora, those being antiseptic, bandages and a pair of tweezers for the bullets.

I screamed again as the reality of everything hit me. I looked around at everything, seeing nothing but a blur before I passed out.

"I seem to be the only one who wasn't hit," Sapphira murmured. "So, how long have you all known about the exit?" she asked. She was hurt; apparently no one cared about her enough to let her know the simple things that happened around the facility.

Cole raised Lakes head a bit so that she would try to look completely up if she was standing. That way the route of oxygen could be wider. He took her by her hand. "Lake. Try to calm down, and try to slow your breathe. We are all safe now." He whispered her. "Close your eyes, and try to do as I say. Please"

Tobias found it easier with her passed out. He removed the bullet, put the antiseptic on, and banadaged it up. "She'll be ok" he said "We got the bullet out faster enough." He moved on to me. I was not as easy, as I was awake. I screamed loudly as he removed the bullets, and even louder when he put the antiseptic on my wounds. He bandaged me, and I sunk into one of the plane chairs.

Lake looked at the other girl, for some reason she just couldn't remember the name. "Yesterday." She said with a raspy voice.

"And none of you told me because...?" Sapphira waited for someone else to finish her sentence. She set her jaw, biting her lip. She couldn't believe this. Her mind was tumbling and turning, and then it felt like it slipped out of her head. She found herself thinking about Oliver. Why the hell didn't you tell me? The scream sounded inside her mind - and Oliver's.

"After getting out, we had only trouble. Lake wasn't in a condition of telling it to you, but I have no excuses. I am sorry. We got back late, but I could have still tell you about it." Told Cole to the girl.

"Well, don't look at me." Lake rasped with a frown, a little harsher then she had intended. "They were gone first." She pointed at Aurora and Oliver with a shaking hand. "I didn't need to tell you because I don't know you. I haven't even spoken to you once and I don't even like any of you." Lie! Her mind shouted, but she ignored it.

"Ow" I said rubbing my head "Not so loud god damn, we're in a confined space." Then I realized that no one else had seemed to think she was shouting, and they were looking at me like I was crazy. "Uh...Sapphira??" I asked confused "What just happened?" I just ignored Lake.

"I... I'm not sure." Sapphira glanced at Oliver, then her eyes darted away. "I think I just yelled at you. Inside your head." What had the paper said again? Telekinesis, of course, and... "Telepathy," Sapphira said with a jolt of realization. "I think I just used my telepathy."

"Uhm...ok why did only I hear it" I asked still confused, but less so "I mean there are like 6 other people here?"

"Because I was thinking about you when I thought it," Sapphira admitted quietly. Her thoughts were loud, apparently. She glanced down at her hands in her lap.
