Realistic or Modern Espionage Wars V9: Migration Edition

March 31st, Outskirts of Shalkar, Kazaksthan

Artillery Rained down the besieged city, In the outskirts of the Shalkar and surrounding area's were thoroughly secured. The encirclement had pretty much forced any forces who weren't tied down to retreat leaving most their trapped forces behind. Kergikstani 1st Recon soldiers were ordered to pursue and scout ahead While UAV Assets were ordered to recon one of possible targets located in Kazakhstan which was the Baikonur Space Dome. Despite some commanding officers claiming it was not an viable Military target. They were ordered specifically from the Minister of Defense to Capture and Secure the space dome. And future plans were now being drawn up for the upcoming "Liberation" of the space dome. The death toll was reported to slown down atleast

July 28th, Inner City Area of Shalkar, Kazaksthan

As both forces rest despite the siege going on, Kergikstani started an small Psy op campaign playing random music throughout the empty and destroyed streets of Shalkar, and at the same time dropping leaflets, Pamphlets and putting posters urging the resisting Government forces to lay down their arms and spare the civilian population any unnecessary casualties. However despite the attempt many posters were defaced and it seemed the Government forces and their partisan soldiers refused to surrender and atleast one skirmish resulted in 4 dead Kergikstani soldiers who were sent in to enemy lines to put up said posters at the cover of night.

August 17th, Inner City Area of Shalkar, Kazakhsthan

Prior to August 17th, The kergikstani Army finally gave the defenders their last ultimatum to surrender, With the hopes that the nearly two month seige would have exhausted the survivors to come to their senses. The kazakhstan army responded by launching mortar strikes which killed 5 Kergikstani Soldiers and Injured multiple Coalition soldiers. And as a result By August 17th the Kergikstani army and it's allies finally launched the final assault to liberate the government Sector and secure Shalkar. Kergikstani Tank units however had an hard time traversing to the ruined city forcing a lot of ruthless building to building fighting combined with artillery barrages that some would consider overkill, The last bastion of undamaged area's of Shalkar was finally ruined by kergikstani artillery strikes and air strikes. The heavy fighting eventually reached the city hall of Shalkar and despite orders to level the building, the commanding officer in charge of the assault Colonel Baltabek Sakenev, Ordered the Assault to stop and gave one last chance to surrender to the survivors. And finally they accepted an unconditional surrender and as a result Shalkar had finally fallen under the banner of Kergikstan.

The survivors were treated fairly despite harassment by members of the 68th Shock Battalion troops who started to assault and verbally harass any they came across POW's forcing military police officers to break up fights and sometimes detain members of the shock battalion. Rumors said one of the fights happen because the 68th took one of heaviest casualties during the entire battle of shalkar and as a result focused their anger on the remaining survivors. It is reported Casualties from the entire Shalkar campaign have reached 254 Killed and 950 Injured atleast on Kergikstan's side Coalition Forces and Kazakhstan forces for now remain unknown.

September 5th, Kulsary City, Kergikstan

As rioter activity started to die down and Vigilante groups either dispersed or started to restart the cycle and form into gang's, The Kulsary Bratva which took advantage of the lawless situation started to present itself as an alternate form of rule and law by "Assisting" the already exhausted Kulsary Metro Police in clamping down on crime far from the red light district. They tipped government forces off on apartment buildings who were hiding rioters or started to make a few Leaders of the anarchist groups disappear and wind up dead outside the city. Neither the cities resident know what the bratva is doing but some have theorized they are attempting to gain support and establish themselves as the ruling party through a puppet. as the previous local government ditched the city and it's mayor has been rumored to have abandoned it's post and has fled somewhere some theorizing north America or south east Asia.

City of Omsk, late August/early September...
With the rest of the Omsk families on to their activities, violence begins to ramp up once more in the city-proper of Omsk. Hit squads begin to take out Fortvna drug dealers on many street corners, and car bombs are set up to take out important political individuals regardless of what the collateral damage may be...
driveby.jpgcarbomb.jpg

Despite the mob's raids against Fortvna, all has been playing into their hands as planned. The mobsters have been allowed to make attacks across Omsk so Fortvna can establish a pattern and learn their habits. Thankfully the mobsters have been extremely sloppy and have left an easy pattern for Fortvna to identify. Before long Fortvna tracks their attackers back to the city of Tyukalinsk, and before long important mob officials end up dead or captured in the area....
baganddrag.jpgschwacked.jpg

By September 3rd Fortvna has made their way to the compound of one Don Armon Yayakovska just outside Tyukalinsk. They manage to shoot their way in as the Don flees down an passage...
Don Yayakovska: "Come on hurry up, what the fuck do I pay you idiots for?"
Guard: "This way boss, we have a ride waiting for you in the garage."
goingdown.jpg

The don and his escort would make their way through an escape corridor to his personal parking garage where an armored SUV would be waiting for him...
Don Yayakovska: "God I never thought I'd be so happy to see my ride. Get it started and get me the fuck out of here already!"
guysingarage.jpg

However once the Don and his escort reach the garage his rear guards would turn their guns on him and the two next to him, the guards near the SUV doing the same as more unidentified thugs move out from behind the SUV to surround them...
Don Yayakovska: "What the fuck?! What is this? What the fuck are you doing?!"
betrayal.jpg

A man in a familiar cowboy hat would step out from the crowd and approach Don Yayakovska after his entourage dropped their guns, cocking the lever on an old revolver as he places the barrel under his chin...
Cowboy Mike: "Sheeit pardner, you'd be amazed how many people you can buy for a couple hundred thousand roubles."
Don Yayakovska: "Whatever they're paying you, I can triple it. Don't be stupid..."
Cowboy Mike: "Oh don't you even worry your head about that friend, you're worth far more than any amount of zeroes on paper..."
goteem.jpg

Much Later On...
Word would circulate back to the top eventually. Despite Fortvna's successful efforts to knock off the other families in the Oblast, one more major obstacle remains in their way. In St. Petersburg a group of well-connected senators would be enjoying dinner together. The one at the head of the table would be approached by a guard and something would be whispered into his ear...
Senator Kurilya: "You're certain of this?... Hmm, I see. No, cancel all of my appointments. Tell Leshev to meet me as soon as possible, the usual place. Tell him to bring more than the usual gear..."

September 7, 2022

The following is an excerpt from a ZBC TV news program, broadcast on Wednesday, September 7 at 5:37pm, local time
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

“On the 2nd of September, a force of Sinesean militants crossed the Zimbabwean border near the town of Gutu, and began approaching the border town of Buhera. The force was well armed with rifles and automatic machine guns, and reinforced with a military helicopter.”

“It is currently unknown as to the intentions of the armed force; however Zimbabwe National Army officer Col. Maurice Ndoro said its intentions were clear. ‘You do not encroach into the territory of another country with such powerful weapons as these men did for peaceful purposes. Their goal was murder, and their targets were peaceful Zimbabwean citizens.’”

“On Saturday morning at around 01:35, a ZNA unit on patrol near Buhera engaged the Sinesean militants, and after a quick exchange was successful in neutralizing the enemy fighters.”

zimAmbush.jpg

“Due to the likelihood of retaliation by the Ancambeist regime in Pierresburg, the Commander of the National Army announced on Monday that ZNA forces would be deployed to several points near the Zimbabwe-Sinesean border, in order to deter future incursions and protect Zimbabwean territorial integrity.”

zimVillage.jpg
"Speaking to reporters in Harare, the Commander made firm the army's commitment to defend the Zimbabwean people. 'These bandits will never break the resolve of the Zimbabwe National Army and the Zimbabwean people. We will defeat any aggressive actions towards out country, no matter what foreign forces and governments conspire to see our defeat.'"
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The following footage was taken from the same ZBC broadcast. The footage shows Zimbabwean National Army soldiers and Zimbabwe Republic Police officers inspecting the remains of the Sinesean Army patrol which was neutralized near Buhera on September 3rd. A large wreckage can be seen burning in the background. Experts have identified this as a destroyed NH90 helicopter - believed to be the Sinesean Army helicopter which originally deployed the patrol.

“Dear Mom,

I finally did it. Your little girl is finally a soldier!
It wasn’t easy. There were times where I was sure that I’d wash out and quit, but I just remembered what you told me when I was younger. “The only person you need to prove anything to is yourself.”
They had us patrolling the Charles River with the Massachusetts National Guard for our first taste of active duty. Obviously they didn’t expect much; the guys with real combat experience are the ones over by Pennsylvania and New York. Jody and Michael got through it alright, Everado was hungover from the night before and could barely make it through the few hours.

groupPic_final.jpg
I still can’t believe how much has changed in a year. When they talked about “going our own way,” never for a second did I think they’d actually go through with secession. I don’t know how long it’ll be before I stop thinking of myself as ‘American.’

arlington.jpg
I’m just glad I got to visit Daddy before the borders closed completely.

It’s going to be tough, going forward. It feels like there are so many people on both sides who want to destroy us. They keep talking about ‘where the invasion is going to come from.’ Some of the guys think the commies are gonna swim across the Delaware River, others say they’re going to come up from Wilmington and into New Jersey. I don’t think anything will happen, but if they do anything, you better believe that thousands of men and women will stand between you and them.

I’m so, so proud that I get to be one of them. For the first time in my life …

boardwalk.jpg
…I feel like I’m fighting for a country to truly call my own.

I’ll write you next chance I get.

Your loving daughter,

Elizabeth”

UNITED ATLANTIC COMMONWEALTH

new_england_flag_final.png
Territory: New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont) and New Jersey
Capital: Boston, Massachusetts
Population: 23.74 million
Head of State: Edward Michael Hailey

As a result of drastic overreach of the US federal government following the 2008 Stock Market crash and independence of the PSA and AWC, the state governments of New England met and, and after tense negotiations and discussions, voted to follow the example of Sacramento and Detroit and secede.
The New England Emergency Powers Council, as it was then known, notified neighboring state governments, as well as Canada, of their intentions. One significant neighbor, New Jersey, showed unusual interest in cooperation with the NEEPC. To the surprise of many, after months of discussions, the New Jersey Legislature voted in August to apply to join the New Englanders in secession from the United States. While this move shocked many in both the NEEPC and US Federal governments, there was significant logic to this move:
  • New Jersey’s two main connections, to New York and Philadelphia, had been severed after the AWC’s secession, leaving New Jersey’s only open connection being Delaware, which provided far less economic output
  • Being caught between Red American territory, New Jersey saw a significant crackdown of civil liberties by the federal government due to fear of travel of defectors and spies
  • The US federal government became more and more dependent on an increasingly stressed New Jersey’s economy, due to its significant population size and developed industry
  • Despite the logistical challenges - New Jersey and New England do not share a land border - allowing New Jersey to join the secession movement brought the significant benefits of New Jersey’s large population, financial, technological and tourism industries, and a significant increase in coastal property
delawareBridge_v2.jpg

Government - The United Atlantic Commonwealth's current government is the United Atlantic Commonwealth Authority (UACA). Like many aspects of the Commonwealth immediately after independence, it is largely a mirror of the United States federal government. The Head of State and Head of Government is President Edward M. Hailey, former Senator from Massachusetts.
Military - The UAC’s military is under the authority of the Commonwealth Defense Authority (CDA). CDA assets are composed almost entirely of former US military equipment. As such, the standard assault rifle is the M4 carbine. While some soldiers in units of significant importance are given pieces of experimental Crye Multicam gear, the majority of Atlantic soldiers are equipped with US Military UCP camouflage clothing.

SoldierDemo.jpg

Important military facilties in the UAC include:
  • Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, 18 miles SE of Trenton, NJ: formerly the US Department of Defense’s sole tri-service base
  • Westover Air Reserve Base, the largest Air Force Reserve base in the United States
  • Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine: one of the United State’s largest military shipbuilding centers
Besides former US federal government assets, much of the commonwealth’s defense lies in the hands of state national guard units.

training.jpg

The commander of the CDA is General Anthony D. Williams, formerly the Adjutant General of the New Jersey National Guard

Industry - The strong economy of the region has allowed the UAC to start its independence on a strong footing. New England’s economy has long been somewhat isolated from the rest of the US. A significant portion of New England industry is concentrated in science and technology and services; since the start of the 21st century, New England has long been an exporter of industrial equipment, electronics and computers, and a leader of engineering in America. Boston in particular is a tech hub, in particular for robotics companies. New Jersey, meanwhile, has long been a giant in the pharmaceuticals and life sciences industries. Both regions have significant transportation and logistical industries, especially Boston Harbor and New Jersey’s Port of Elizabeth.
Fishing and agriculture remain large industries in the Atlantic Commonwealth: the waters of New England and New Jersey are awash with cod, lobster, oysters and crabs, while New Jersey is also a large producer of blueberries and tomatoes.

Foreign Relations - The UACA Foreign Relations Department has reached out to both the Pacific States of America and the American Worker's Commonwealth, offering to establish trade and defense agreements

Eastern Soviet Socialist Republics (ESSR)
m0fz7ud.png

Following the failed coup by communist hard liners after the 1991 dissolution of the Soviet Union, three newly branded republics would initiate a plan to declare their independence from the newly formed Russian Federation and the CIS.

These republics were known as the SSR of Okrug, SSR of Magadan and the SSR of the Sakha. Powerful people within the Soviet Union had asserted themselves deeply within these regions. With the dissolution of the Union, steps were taken to ensure the region would remain firmly in control by loyalist forces. Countless hardlines and loyalists would venture East towards the three republics.

By the end of the year the three republics officially declared themselves independent from the Russian Federation. These three republics would start the new year by joining in a union, the Eastern Soviet Socialist Republics, or the ESSR. In the eyes of the government the ESSR was still the Soviet Union and the USSR, but even they could not deny the international bad recognition the names held, and as a way to buy more time to assert themselves, the name was altered.

Territory: Eastern Russia, Okrug, Magadan and the Sakha regions.
Capital City: Oktobergrad.
Government: Federal Marxist–Leninist one-party directorial parliamentary socialist republic (Dirty commies)
Legislature: Council of Ministers

Undisclosed facility somewhere in the ESSR.
The facility is exercising a training scenario where the facility is under attack by foreign enemy forces.
The goal of the excercise is to delay the attackers long enough for either reinforcements to arrive, or for the facility to successfully retaliate with nuclear missiles before the enemy can break through.

The exercise was ordered as way to test the base defences and the ability to launch nuclear missiles, should such a scenario ever become real.
At this current time the ESSR only have long range missiles, but given the exercise one might be led to believe that their nuclear weapons program has had some amount of progress.

September 10th, 10:00 am, Pierresburg, Outside of the Zimbabwean Embassy

Enraged by the seemingly unprovoked attack on the Sinesean border patrol near Buhera, Prime Minister Joseph Pierre-Ancambe today held a press conference directly in front of the Zimbabwean Embassy in the capital of Pierresburg. the crowds cheered in their hundreds as Ancambe walked up to the podium.

Sinesean PM addresses Sinese smol.png

"My friends, today I speak to you with a heavy heart. The words you are about to hear, are words I hoped I would never have to speak...our nation...our people...have been attacked, slaughtered, at the hands of the nation whose embassy sits behind me now. For decades we have maintained an uneasy peace with the nation of Zimbabwe, and for many years I had started to believe they had accepted us as their neighbour. Now it seems they wish to show their true colours to us...
I will now read out the names of the brave servicemen who's lives were so unnecessarily cut short whilst serving their country, and who's families' and friends' lives have been needlessly plunged into turmoil by their loss:
Senior Sergeant James Mbola
Corporal Taylor Vyberg
Lance Corporal Adile Pierre
Private Vickus Van-der-Lube
Private David Aduale
Private Ashley Rosewood
Private Jamie Cavanaugh
Private Matthew Varsity
Private Karris Van-der-Lowe
Private Christopher Karren
Each one of these names belongs to a soldier who has made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting our borders, and deserves to be remembered for an eternity and beyond. This government, and indeed this nation, will be ensuring that no such further tragedy takes place. From this point forth, any and all border patrols along our border with Zimbabwe will have the full support of the Sinesean National Army and the Sinesean National Air Force. Border checkpoints will be on high alert until further notice, and the security at these checkpoints will be increased. Any and all vehicles travelling too and from Sinese will be subject to security checks, and any person found aiding Zimbabwean forces will be subject to the full force of the law. But, despite these necessary measures to protect our sovereignty, I encourage the public to continue going about your business as you would any other day, if Zimbabwe think they have sewn the seeds of terror amongst us, they are sorely mistaken. Stay vigilant my friends, but please be calm and carry on."

14:33, North Sacramento Voting Station, Sacramento, November 8th

Elections for the Presidency of the Pacific States have commenced today. Election predictions strongly favor the Federalist Party's new nominees, Emilia Park and William S. Carter. The incumbent President and Vice Presidents, Gallagher and Davis, now occupy the names on the ticket of the Pacific-American Democratic Party. Their newfound party may have chosen the wrong horse to put into the race for the Presidency as the incumbents are predicted to suffer a humiliating defeat. The invasion of Canada, the mishandling of international diplomacy, the constant accusations of corruption and perhaps worst of all being denounced by their own party, are predicted to be too significant hurdles to overcome, especially at this stage on the campaign trail. Elections are never a sure thing, however...

14:02, Presidential Residence, Sacramento, November 14th

What was initially thought to be a press release to concede defeat in the 2022 Presidential Elections quickly turned into far more concerning broadcast as President Gallagher began speaking while being flanked by Army and Marine Corps officials.

Mandoesitagain.jpg

"My fellow Americans, I do not stand before you today to concede defeat. I stand before you today because face a great danger. Less than an hour ago Director Garner of the FBI informed that armed assailants breached the premises of the Sacramento Convention Center Complex. Agents of the FBI succeeded in neutralizing the assailants... unfortunately - by the time law enforcement arrived on the scene - these assailants had already taken the lives of twenty-two innocent civilians.

This attack is a symptom... a symptom of a growing disease that dares to call itself the Children of God. The FBI may try to claim that what I am about to say is not true, but I want the American people to listen very closely to what I'm about to say: This attack was perpetrated by those twisted, vile and evil ungodly beings.
No more. This ends, and it ends now. When the danger we face is extreme, so are the measures we must undertake to preserve our nation. I am declaring a national state of emergency and indefinitely extending my term as President of the Pacific States.

I have instructed the armed forces of our nation to initiate combat operations against the Children of God in what they perceive to be their lands, which is why I have contacted and spoken to each of the four Governors of the states of Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, to inform these states of our intentions. The Governors of Utah and Arizona have pledged their full support to our cause and have graciously given us access to their respective military installations, while the Governors of Colorado and New Mexico have chosen instead to remain in blissful ignorance of the danger that threatens the very citizens they are sworn to protect. We will not accept this. We will fight for the liberty and freedom of all Americans, whether these ignorant politicians agree or not. We will liberate all the Four Corner states from evil. We will cleanse them from this malicious festering tumor that threatens to grow. I will not yield. I will not YIELD.

Thank you."

Following the destruction of the Sinesean Army patrol on September 2nd, the Zimbabwe National Army have established several fortified checkpoints along the border with Sinese, and have increased air and ground patrols.

znaArmyPost.jpg

On November 6th, a three day conference was hosted by the University of Zimbabwe Political and Administrative Studies Department regarding Zimbabwe’s interactions with foreign powers pre-and-post independence. On the second day of the conference, Daniel Sibanda, Zimbabwe’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke with a ZBC reporter about Zimbabwe’s history with Sinese and the breakaway state’s historical connections with Rhodesia and the British Empire.

politicalDiscussion.jpg

Sibanda made the claim that Sinese was not a truly legitimate nation, rather it was an extension of Rhodesia and as such, an extension of European colonialism. Notably, Sibanda used markedly irredentist language at certain points of the talk, referring to Sinese’s capital Pierresburg as “Bulawayo” (it’s name while under Zimbabwe) or “what they call Pierresburg,” subliminally casting doubt on the credibility of the Sinesean government.
While the ZBC reporter present made an effort to maintain impartiality, later that day Peter Nyamadzawo, a popular Zimbabwean media personality and noted nationalist, tweeted a bluntly anti-Sinesean comment, which was later taken down. ZBC and the Zimbabwean government have yet to comment on the tweet or the conference.

Late August, Leyte...
After many long negotiating sessions, the two parties managed to reach a relatively peaceful compromise. Having agreed to a ceasefire and drawdown of assets, August 30th was chosen as the deadline for Filipino forces to leave the island. The last Filipino troops withdrew from Leyte by the date chosen, leaving the island firmly under Confederate control...

Cordoba and his commandos decide to bring the PSA raiders along for a motivational unit run soon after their victory. Proudly displaying the Confederate colors, the unit soon has the entire base ringing with the sound of cadences, having more of a reason to be motivated than ever...
charlierock.jpg

After the PT session Cordoba and Captain Dannagher would meet up in the locker room...

Dannagher: "Yo I'm gonna go hit the laundromat, want me to grab you anything from the PX?"
Cordoba: "Actually come here a second, I've been working on something and I want your opinion..."
afterpt.jpg

Dannagher would come over and look over Cordoba's shoulder at the sketchbook he's been working in...
Dannagher: "What is this, some cowboy shit?"
Cordoba: "Very funny. No it's supposed to be our new dress uniform. I've been working on a concept for a while now and I think this would be the perfect time to implement it."
Dannagher: "Man you can draw too? How did you end up becoming a soldier instead of an artist or something?"
Cordoba: "Shit never has a way of going how we want it to does it? Anyway, I was gonna ask if you'd help me model the prototype."
Dannagher: "You gonna draw me like one of your French girls?"
Cordoba: "What?"
Dannagher: "Eh, it's from a movie... nevermind. Yeah I'd love to help out."
Cordoba: "Perfect. Want a smoke?"
Dannagher: "Uh... no thanks. I don't smoke."
Cordoba: "Oh right, well more for me then..."

In the months following Leyte's independence, a major reorganization campaign is undertaken for the armed forces. Many of the veterans of the civil war are eager to go back to their old civilian life, though through some clever marketing the Confederate Armed Forces have managed to entice a large number of new recruits to join, especially since the devastated island has few reliable jobs other than the military. Those veterans that choose to reenlist are quickly bumped up to officer and NCO grade so they can begin training the next generation of Confederate soldiers...
youreinthearmynow.jpg

At the same time Vice President Raul Vega is busy cultivating relationships with outside parties. Many NGOs from various nations have offered to step in and provide humanitarian aid to the devastated civilian population, though more importantly Vega has managed to make some friends who have connections in lucrative industries. Potential investors from both the Pacific States of America and the United Atlantic Commonwealth have expressed interest in helping jump-start certain sectors of the Confederate economy...
panderingtoinvestors.jpg

One of the most important items on the agenda for the future is rebuilding Leyte's destroyed infrastructure. Foreign contractors from all over begin flocking to the island in order to get their foot in the door as restoration projects begin to kick off. The projects are also a much-needed boon for the civilians who lost their jobs during the war, providing steady work and hot food each day...
runoff.jpgworkinontherailroad.jpg

Taking a more proactive approach, the PSA ramps up its efforts to supply the fledgling nation of Leyte. So far both parties have agreed on a shopping list of:
100 artillery pieces, towed or self-propelled

50 M113s, particularly ambulance and mortar carrier configurations
10 air supremacy fighters
20 transport helicopters
50 Cadillac Commandos
1 EWACS-capable plane
3 helicopters armed with anti-ship missiles
30 land-based anti-ship missile systems
20 Strykers
4 C130 cargo planes
As much ammo and small arms as possible to spare...

Tacloban City, Mid-November...
With hostilities at an end for the time being and the blockade around Leyte lifted, the Confederate government is able to start shipping stranded foreign mercs back home. Those who fought for the Confederacy during the civil war are compensated generously and sent on their way. As Whitman's old friend Skellen prepares to buy a ticket out of the country, he'd find his old friend waiting for him at the docks...
Whitman: "
Going somewhere are we?"
Skellen: "Yeah bruv, work's drying up around here. Not much use for a bunch of foreigners with guns these days seems like."
Whitman: "Funny you should mention that. I came to find you before you skipped town because I wanted to offer you some lucrative work."
Skellen: "Right well tell us what it is then yeah?"
Whitman: "There's still a lot of work to be done in the south brother. Humanitarian aid has been coming in for the last few months but a lot of it can't get where it needs to go in the south cause of bandit and pirate attacks. That's where we come in. I'm getting together whoever I can from the old team and planning on starting a security company to help get those supplies to their destination."
Skellen: "You're talking honest security contracting? Mate you must have taken a knock on the head, I thought you were the wetwork guy?"
Whitman: "Times are changing my friend. Going legit is the way now. Trust me once we get things established the contracts will pay dividends. It won't just be convoy security either, if we don't manage to royally cock things up we might be able to snag some physical security gigs from some of the foreign corporations coming in. That's where the big bucks are."
Skellen: "Fuck me bruv, you know how to sell a pitch. Alright I'm in, when do we start..?"

Port of Ormoc...
Having received adequate training in their operations, the 3 OHP frigates are finally sold to the Confederacy and turned over to her crews. The three ships have been redesignated the CWS Barerra (much to his chagrin as he insisted on not naming the flagship after himself, but his troops affectionately named it after him anyway), CWS Vega and CWS Cordoba. (CWS = Confederate War Ship) Having admirably served as one of the Confederacy's top raiders during the civil war, Captain Arturo Peña receives a meritorious commission as Admiral of the Confederate 1st Fleet and is given the honor of taking command of the flagship CWS Barerra...

Camotes Islands, Future Site of PSA Naval Base Santiago...
As soon as negotiations began between the Confederacy and Philippines back in August, the PSA wasted no time sending in Seabees to begin building their new naval base in the Camotes. Wanting to give their own men valuable experience, a few companies of Confederate engineers are sent along to assist in the construction...

Southern Leyte...
Having standardized to 5.56 the Confederate Armed Forces sells off many of its surplus weapons to collectors and local law enforcement groups. With the nature of the terrain in Leyte the civilian population is highly encouraged to own weapons and familiarize themselves in their usage. A burgeoning new market on Leyte are shoot-houses where civilians can pay to partake in simulated tactical exercises. These facilities are run by local veterans and ex-mercenaries who stayed behind after the war and are highly supervised and safety regulated. Patrons are required to take extensive firearms safety courses before they can attend any live-fire sessions. These facilities are highly endorsed by the government, as many rural communities are too isolated for law enforcement assets to reach in a reasonable amount of time...
civvieshoothouse.jpg

Specifically to address the issue of lawless rural areas, a unit of the Confederate Armed Forces is created to essentially act as sheriffs in areas that local cops aren't able to go. In addition to acting as law enforcement they are also considered an auxiliary unit that can be deployed as a second line of defense in times of war. They can be identified by their hand-me-down olive drab uniforms and distinctive blue armbands/berets, earning them the nickname "Blueberries" among the locals...

MacArthur Municipality, Late November...
With the recent influx of foreign companies taking an interest in the island and helping bring its economy to life, it's also been noted that a growing number of communist agitators have been popping up. A few strikes have taken place with the demands often being the same between them: wanting foreign corporations out and control of their businesses returned to the local workers...
ungratefulcommies.jpg

The LISS however has been keeping a close eye on the situation. After compiling a list of known individuals with socialist and communist ties, the Service starts to send out agents to bring these persons of interest in for questioning. Thankfully those that can be found are willing to come in and answer what questions they can. What the agents learn begins to paint a much larger and more sinister picture. Many of the persons of interest were involved in moderate socialist groups or the more minor political parties within the Filipino government. Never having truly been a unified faction before, the myriad groups had recently been seeing a major influx of younger, more radical members who all seemed to share the same hardline communist ideals. Many of the older more moderate members left the group when the hardline parties began to coordinate and talk of more radical actions. Since then the disparate groups have seen an unprecedented level of cooperation, leading the LISS to believe that there must be some larger unseen force behind these recent events...

December 1st, Tacloban...
Barerra would enter a locker room where Cordoba and a group of other people are taking measurements for Captain Dannagher...
Barerra: "Ignacio, what are you doing to poor Captain Dannagher? Are you trying to turn our army into Project Runway?"
Cordoba: "Oh shush, come here and check this out."
fittingsession.jpg

Barerra: would look over at Cordoba's sketchbook and raise an eyebrow "What is that supposed to be?"
Cordoba: "Oh come on don't you remember we talked about the dress uniforms before? He's helping me model the prototype."
Barerra: "Right right... the cowboy uniforms. I wonder what I was thinking at the time when I approved that..."
Cordoba: "Trust me Constantin, you're gonna love it when you see the whole thing together."
yousure.jpg

Dannagher: "Okay guys, what do you think?"
imsure.jpg

Dannagher: "It's a little tight around the crotch but, I dunno I think it looks good. Sword might be a bit much though."

Cordoba: "Yes, it's perfect! See? I told you the whole thing would look amazing!"
Barerra: he'd crack a begrudging smile "Okay I gotta admit, it does look pretty good. Keep the sword."
Cordoba: "Perfect! Alright I'll put the production order in ASAP. Captain, feel free to keep the uniform as a memento if you want."

Good Morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. I welcome you to the morning news.
Tensions in the Far East are not cooling down. Over the week, more Troops of the Republic of Primorsky have been seen moving to the border of Russia
The President, Andrey Kharkov. Said in a Press conference that the purpose of the Troops is for security reasons for protecting FEA's borders and its Citizens
The Kremlin is denying the fact and saying that an upcoming Invasion of the FEA is mostly likely happening soon.
Reservists of the Primorskian Armed Forces are getting called into the active duty and are stationed in Khabarovsk. Images of Primorskian Vehicles with symbols on them are surfacing more on the internet.

Khabarovsk Federation — Khabarovsk, November 25th

Mass panic followed after the recent car bombings in the heart of the Khabarovskan and Primorskan capitals. City-wide lockdowns were authorized in the midst of the chaos ensuing. A state of martial law was declared until the nature of the threat was identified, as the Special Rapid Response (SOBR) Units of both countries worked in tandem to track down and eliminate the perpetrators.

Communication from the Federal Security Service of the Republic of Primorsky to the Federal Intelligence Agency of the Khabarovskan Federation suggests that the unidentified terrorists are kidnapping individuals involved in infiltrating and relaying information from the inside of Pro-Russian camps within the Far Eastern Alliance. According to the intel, these terrorists are too well-equipped and too well-organized to be from any of the disjointed Pro-Russians sects.

This raises a few questions: who are these terrorists, and how are they related to the Pro-Russian movement in the Far East? Fow how long were they able to amass and organize these plans in secret? What is the purpose behind these attacks, if not to send a message? Further investigation is required.

Two Khabarovskan SOBR strike teams with attachments from a classified SOF unit are detached to secure Objective Echo, while simultaneous raids are committed in Primorsky.

Elements of the Khabarovskan Border Guard enclose the area, and find scattered 5.45 bullet casings, magazines, and evidence that Rocket Propelled Grenades were used during the firefight. The search found one confirmed KIA from the platoon-sized ambush force, which is being sent back to HQ to confirm the identity. The rest, presumably, escaped over the Russo-Khabarovskan border.

The combined Primorskan and Khabarovskan attack on the last objective, Objective Foxtrot, was a success. 12 militants were eliminated. In total, nearly 100 militants were either detained or eliminated in objectives Alpha through Foxtrot.

Much appreciated, but don't feel too intimidated if you really do wanna hop in. Making gmod/sfm/blender poses is tedious but it gets easier the more you do it. All you need is a good reference and a bit of patience. None of us simply started this way but we all improved through time and effort.

Khabarovsk Federation — November 26th

The dust starts to settle in the shaken cities of Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. The sounds of police, fire engine, and ambulance sirens that were blaring all night long begin to dissipate by the hour. As the sun rises on a cold December morning, the sky remains blackened by tall smoke plumes. The distinct smells of motor-oil and gunpowder still litter the city squares, and the damage that was inflicted is still very much apparent. Hundreds of deaths, thousands of casualties, and countless more citizens were affected by these attacks.

The president of the Khabarovsk Federation, Anatoly Mikhailov, put out a public statement in the early morning, where he vowed to find justice for all those affected by the attacks.

Border War 2 post.jpg

These cities have not seen casualty rates this high since the war for Independence in the East, 30 years ago. A stark reminder that although the old Soviet Threat is gone, the threat of the Russian Federation still looms in its wake. Citizens went from afraid to paranoid to outraged when it was reported that the attacks are the work of home-grown Pro-Russian terrorists, speculated to be funded and trained by Russia directly. The Kremlin denies having any ties with the terrorists, and in extension, denies any involvement in the recent car bombings. In fact, the Russian government throws accusations back, stating that these attacks were staged by the Far Eastern Alliance themselves too:

“[...] provide a reason for further aggressive actions towards the Russian Federation and her people...”
An excerpt from a recent speech by a Kremlin spokesperson.

The Russian government is keeping up with the narrative that the leaders of the Far Eastern leaders are alt-right radicals — an aggressive country led by Nazis. These accusations are completely baseless, but through their state-run news networks and information censorship, their propaganda campaign seems to have somewhat worked. Troops continue to amass on the Russian side of the border, as tensions loom to greater heights.

November 28th - December 20th

As a result of recent events, as well as the distasteful remarks by the Kremlin within the last few days, 20 Russian diplomats were expelled from the embassy in Khabarovsk. They were expelled in secret to not attract crowds of protesting citizens to the embassy building.

Khabarovskan military reserves are called into service and are to receive some additional training, while mechanized, motorized, armored, and airborne divisions maintain high readiness along the Russian border.

The Far East holds its breath, for war is just beyond the horizon...

Russo-Khabarovsk Border, December 23

A frigid wind blew over the tense Russo-Khabarovskan border. The tension had not settled in the slightest. A VICE News team joined the Khabarovskans on one of their nightly patrols. Border guard units have been reinforced with armored elements of the army, while the number of patrols has been doubled. In the middle of an interview with a corporal of the squad on patrol, the squad came under fire by the Russian border guard. At this point in the firefight, Khabarovskans were not too surprised. Although this had been the first skirmish since the car bombings, they knew it would only be a matter of time before the Russians break the uneasy armistice.

The Khabarovskans held their ground with authority, waiting for the reinforcements they requested to arrive. The experience they gained from the Snap Check exercises proved to be invaluable, as they broke Russia’s skirmish force shortly before the rest of the company arrived to reinforce them. They held their defensive positions on high alert.

Border War NVG2.jpg

Unbeknownst to both sides — as the skirmish went on, Khabarovskan intelligence listened into the Russian communications channel. Their border guards were in disarray as they were routed from the skirmish; overwhelmed by the response they faced. Different reports were made in the midst of the chaos; misidentifying their opposition force to be much larger than it actually was, and stating that the Khabarovskans were pushing into Russian territory. Somewhere down the chain of command, GRAD missiles were authorized to eliminate or suppress Khabarovskan forces.

Long streaks of hellfire ripped across the sky, illuminating the clouds and forests below with orange in its wake. The company of Khabarovskan border guard sought cover in ditches and in their makeshift foxholes. The forest around them exploded, death raining from above. Many were lost in the barrage, most were wounded.

The missiles killed approximately 40 Khabarovskan servicemen, a quarter of the company. This was the most casualties incurred in a single skirmish in the last few decades. As if it couldn’t get any worse, some of the missiles landed in a nearby residential district — killing a mother and son; and injuring a few dozen. These are the first civilian casualties directly caused by Russian weapons.

A beast in the Far East has been awoken from its slumber… What does this provocation entail? Was this the match that sparked the powder barrel?

“THERE IS NO CRIME IN THE COMMONWEALTH”, AND OTHER HILARIOUS JOKES YOU CAN TELL YOURSELF.

Forgive us for our absence, communications broke down (Thanks Bill Gates), but here is a brief oversight of what we have been doing for the time we have been gone. Here’s a hint, we're in a crime crisis.

A bank somewhere in a Manhattan living area.

Often, the average revolutionary thinks that liberating the working class from their shackles is the path to utopia, to true equality among the classes and the stabilization of the country. However these are often not the case in some areas, even the most hardline of regimes still had their criminal underbellies and we are no exception. Being located in what was known by the Federalists as “The Rust Belt”, it was and still sometimes is a large center of poverty and crime mainly between common street thugs. However, in the cities, white-collar corruption and foreign mafia groups poison the streets of our capital as well as major cities like Chicago and Philadelphia. The Central Committee demands this be put to a stop once and for all.

egZtnA6MDip69y4zfjdDCYd5fUIKuZ_BHtcr_fytwA1lHIEDS8zpOojR-rJqfatEUlIN9N4imasoqQCrLn3_3mIjJYpN41tySkK52c9eQRiqEgeu989ZQehl8eUAMSjoKNOmaa3eUce4E6Rz7y7JTDR0_6PeZhbBtLMI71xRHyMjfxyTejb2OVCRVWQ8TQ

A defaced party billboard located near said bank, about a 2 minute walk.

But yet, as hard as we try they still come up and fuck us over. Whether it be defacing our hard work, protesting in the streets or just being a public nuisance, they get everywhere and stick around like a fly on a turd or college frat roommates. And like all of those things, they make you sick and smell bad. So over the years we have worked on countless solutions, and they aren’t really working. Some guys find the weirdest and dumbest way to try and halt our revolution, and we are basically slumped.

NYPD Headquarters, NYC

Even with our increased no-tolerance policy, somehow the slimiest of fucks manage to slip through our grasp, and our Michigan Penal Work Camps aren’t getting bigger. But we may have hit upon a possible solution that could hopefully end this crisis, recently the Bureau Of Science And Technology (we call them the nerds, heh) recently approached us with a secret project for the police to hopefully curb stomp the constant crime. And when we say hopefully, we mean hopefully because this is still in its beta. But for the meantime, here are two temporary solutions to the problem.

fz8vCnsPwmFO1Nd2k9dOaZimsGFhcPn9DzFu_tInQlyEFl7Y2FcRoiDuCZ2TiRIlVVzVW1-2IPqZ3u3gnzqs0PDXEq_UthCfF3okO5VfVF_u86h9OpWvfaGtKmxZeYdA6EcrjjVswy7tpS4sBlJivfLQ8x_uh48La9Gs08o_olM5rEjJypDBr00TZdK2UA

A Police raid on four known anarchists thanks to an anonymous tip and internet monitoring

The first one is something we took up from other cybersecurity agencies and that's just basically increase spying on people from their state-provided internet. We know, we know "AWC, That's been done so many times that people aren't even phased by it anymore!" A lot of other governments communist or not do this kind of thing and we are fully aware of this, what makes US different is that we aren't just increasing the Commonwealth Bureau Of Investigation (CBI)'s spyware funding but we are also giving them more things to tap into. Things from FitBits, Cat Microchips, The TV and even little pigeon drones. We basically turned our major cities into one giant eyeball.

The second temporary solutions is called “Snitch Benefits.” It goes like this: Say around four bastards defaced a billboard or blew up a train. We release a description or if possible a photo of the perpetrators, we get tips and details from those who know them (or tips about people who know them), we get the guys and the snitches get a cash reward. Simple right? Well, that’s what we thought. Turns out hosting a snitch line isn’t popular among the proletariats, the millisecond we announced it we were flooded with pictures ranging from edgy state-banned memes to more unsavory things we will not list. But what they don’t know is that we know who sent them and they will be put in the clink-n’-camp for staging a counter revolt, win-win: they have their 15 seconds of fame and we get our justice.

It isn’t perfect, but these are temporary solutions for the long run until the Bureau Of Science And Technology finishes it's passion project. But once we get the kinks out, it’ll be
Smooth sailing comrades.

Meanwhile, in the Far East

After the recent Bombing in the Cities of Khabarovsk and Vladivostok, the Situation got more heated since the major border skirmish.
Both sides are getting ready for an upcoming war, since November the forces of the Far Eastern Alliance have started to mobilize on the border of Russia.

December 24th, Vladivostok
Andrey Kharkov, hold a Speech regarding the recent events and blamed the Russian Federation being involved in the attacks
Andrey Kharkov's message to the Nation and the World.png

"...the Russian Federation wants the war and there is no denying that! Through supplying with Arms, Training and sending their own Soldiers! The Kremlin escalates with their actions against us, a new War!..."

The troops of the Far East have been put on high alert in case of a Russian attack. The situation at the borders on the same day was tense between the troops of the Russian Federation and the Far Eastern Alliance.

Shortly after, the special forces signaled that the enemy forces were neutralized, and the path was clear. FEA forces started to move into the Jewish-Autonomous-Oblast, and into the Amur-Oblast. FEA Aircraft started to fly over and destroy known Military targets and Airfields.

5:30
Andrey Kharkov appears on the Televisions
"Good Morning ladies and gentlemen, the forces of the FEA have been trained and been prepared for this moment, To defend our Sovereignty and our People. FEA Forces are striking Russian forces in the Amur-Oblast, Jewish-Autonomous-Oblast and in Kamchatkan Krai, dear people of Russia this war is caused and escalated by your regime. Nobody wants war, defending our freedom and our nation, we're willing to take action! Operation Eastern Shield has been called out to all Forces of the FEA.
the Broadcasting ends.

6:15
Artillery and Grads rockets launched from Khabarovsk Federation and Kamchatka can be seen flying over to Russia. Hitting important military targets.

It's beginning
Years and years of political and military backs and forths between Kamchatka and Russia has finally reached it's boiling point. With the attacks in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok, it signalled the wake up call for everyone. A war in the far east, blood will be spilled on these lands once again.

FEA forces in the wake of the attacks, sprung into action. Years of preperation, the battle plans had been drawn years in advance. All for this very moment to appear.

December 24th 2022.

16:00
Kamchatkan President "Vladimir Pushkin" addresses the nation and fellow member states of the FEA.
"My dear friends, comrades, brothers and sisters. In the wake of these outrageous and horrendous attacks on our brothers across the
Okhotsk sea, myself and my counterparts in Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Okhotsk have deliberated long enough! Russian aggression will be met in force, so make no mistake we are at WAR with Russia. To most of us, we have been at war since the dissolution of the USSR. They (Russia) have not left us alone. They have always been there circling us like sharks, looking for an oppurtunity to take away our sovereignty. It is now our time to strike, our time to bring an end to Russian aggression and time for us to reunite our brothers and sister in the occupied regions of Kamchatka Krai! SLAVA KAMCHATKA!"

16:10
As the speech was broadcasted nationwide, the Kamchatkan Armed Forces where already on the move. Trains of equipment streamed northwards while marine units prepared for assaults on the kurils in a joint venture by Primorskian and Kamchatkan Marine forces.
