Escapists (1x1) [Telios & Azimuth]

[Telios]

"O-Oh..." Tupus winced slightly. "S-Sorry..." He went quiet as they continued to go along the side of the lake.

 

[azimuth]

Zack also continued in silence, aside from some bickering with Scarlet, who again nibbled tupus ear. "find your own way to translate. Or even better. Go back to sleep." Zack didn't know it, but he was gonna suffer later.

 

[Telios]

Tupus just followed Zack quietly, sometimes glancing at Scarlet. He still felt bad about what he had said.

 

[azimuth]

Scarlet knew he felt uncomfortable, which is why she was trying to comfort him. Zack ducked under a large spiders Web and kept going. It would be a while until they reached the town. It was a telly big Lake.

 

[Telios]

Tupus ducked under the spider web and followed Zack to the town. He looked around their surroundings, his eyes only half-open because of his depressed state.

 

[azimuth]

They reach the end of the forest, but there's still a ways to get to the town. "you stay here." zack said, and began tucking his wings in behind his back, trying to keep them out of sight of anyway one who might spot them. He the left the shelter of the trees. "fine." he said, agreeing to something which was scarlets request for a pencil and note pad. "back in half an hour."

 

[Telios]

Tupus nodded and sat down under a tree. He curled up, his arms hugging his knees with his ears pressed flat ontop of his head.

 

[azimuth]

Scarlet was still with Tupus. She walked down from his shoulder and across his arm and leant down to look him in the face. This might be taken as asking if Tupus was okay.

 

[Telios]

"I'm fine..." He answered, "just feeling a bit down..."

 

[azimuth]

Scarlet went back to his shoulder, sidling up to his head as she got comfortable to sleep again.

 

[Telios]

Tupus gently petted her, looking up at her before he stopped.

 

[azimuth]

She was shortly sound asleep. Her head still swivelled about as she subconsciously searched for the source of sounds. Later zack returned, and he was carrying a paper bag. He was also eating a burger. He handed tupus the bag, and inside was four burgers. "should be enough for now." zack said.

 

[Telios]

Tupus looked up at Zack and grabbed the bag. "Th-Thanks..." He said, starting to eat a burger slowly.

 

[azimuth]

Zack sat down next to him and quickly ate the rest of the burger he had. "best that I don't go there again." he said with a mouthful.

 

[Telios]

Tupus nodded and finished his burger. "Too much attention...?" He asked.

 

[azimuth]

"I set fire to a 'fast food' place so I could steal the food." he said, a took one of the other burgers.

 

[Telios]

Tupus flinched before looking away. He usually prefers not harming anyone unless he has to and this made him unsettled. "O-Oh..."

 

[azimuth]

Zack looked at him for a moment. ".... Relax, no one got hurt. It was only small. You see any smoke over there?" he gestured to the town, with the burger in his hand.

 

[Telios]

"No..." Tupus let out a sigh of relief, looking at the town.

 

[azimuth]

Zack scarfed down that burger faster than he ate the first. "it would attract attention from the lab. Let's get going again."

 

[Telios]

Tupus nodded and slowly stood up, careful not to wake Scarlet up.

 

[azimuth]

Scarlet would lean to keep her balance, but did stir otherwise. Zack stood and began walking. "so, where do you want to go?" he asked.

 

[Telios]

"I' minor sure where we can go considering how we look..." Tupus sighed.

 

[azimuth]

"we'll figure something out. Just pick somewhere."

 

[Telios]

"A house would be nice..." He suggested, looking around.
