Idk. It doesn't really make sense to be playing as a dwemer in modern times but that's just my opinion . What would be the reason for why he/she came back?

Yup, my reasoning being that she was helping develop a pocket dimension to be used for easy storage. However, it worked too well, locking her inside without anyone noticing. Since she was locked inside, she wasn’t affected by the heart. Many centuries later, she was found by an archeologist in Markarth

Well, it was kinda like a home experiment where she “attempted,” to make it. That’s why she was sucked in(that’s why I said it worked too well), she’s kinda helpless now. All she’s got is a few dwarven relics, not much combat training, and a lack of resources xD

technically the dwemer used tones to alter reality not magic in the truest terms so without the tonal devices she would not have the ability to do as the dwemer of old.
