Archaius looked at Takono as he had ordered for himself first, rather than telling the brunette like he had asked for. He soon shrugged it off. "I'll have a chocolate croissant." he told the masked male, following behind him to the register. Coffee actually did sound rather nice right now, but too much sugar. He thought for a moment before speaking up again. "And a black coffee." Archaius told him, as he soon stuffed his hands into his sweater pockets.

Kylei Crysten

"Oh?! So Ryu isn't blonde?! I can't imagine him with a different hair color..." She tried to picture her friend with his natural hair, but it didn't work too much. Huh. She could only see him in blonde. "Hm? Oh, it's Kylei Crysten! Nice to meet you, Yoshiya! Tell Ryu I'm sorry while you're at it! Otherwise I'll go apologize later. See you around!!!" The Blondie grinned before she turned around and a finger jabbed her forehead. "Ah!" She looked at who the finger belonged to and blinked in confusion. Ow. What did he want? Nose Hair-sama stood before her and began stating how friends are useless and how much humans desire them. Useless? Crysten nodded because she agreed to the part where people desired companions, however, friends weren't that useless. They were good for many things. Hm. Did the tomato ever had experience with a friend? Maybe. And then he probably got bored. She waited for him to take his finger off of her as she half listened to him about how stupid humans are. Kylei raised her hand to up to her forehead to grab his arm, before he let go and spun around.

She rubbed her the place where he poked her forehead with two fingers and crossed her arms at him. It hurts! Huh? What was up with his face...
"My poor forehead... Don't---" He began to ruffle her hair, with a smile she never saw before. What's with the change of attitude all of a sudden?! Was he being nice?... He apologized? What?! She stared at him in confusion. This was strange. "Um...? What happened to you, all of a sudden, Nose Hair-sama?... Did you just... Apologize?! Did that spinning around transform you? This is so weird! You being all nice all out of nowhere..." She blew a few strands of hair that covered her face and blinked in surprise. Miracles happen, eh?

As R?u turned the key, various sounds of whirring and clicking could be heard from the box. 'It would seem that this lock is much more complicated than appearances would suggest' He thought. After the noise from the lock had subsided, he carefully lifted the lid of the box. Lying there on a fitted cushion was a pair of revolvers, but they were unlike anything he had ever seen. They were sleek and futuristic, with fluid curves and a smooth finish. They were two of the most beautiful things R?u had ever laid eyes on.

r169_457x256_4460_Pistol_2d_sci_fi_gun_pistol_weapon_picture_image_digital_art.jpg

Inside the box, there was another note.

R?u,

These two revolvers used to belong to your grandfather. They were originally two Colt Pythons. However, as you may have guessed I have made some... modifications to improve on their design. I know that you now focus on close range combat, but I still remember the joy in your eyes when you held a six shooter. So, please humor your old man and take good care of these, for old time's sake if nothing else. I know you'll treat them right.

Happy shootin' deadeye

cooltext147419384419903_zpsvncqoy0q.png

"Well that was quite unexpected" R?u said, leaning back as he examined the revolvers. "It seems he's completely overhauled the mechanism, replacing almost every part. They now use electromagnetism to propel a sabot instead of a bullet. These aren't firearms anymore, they're fucking railguns" He continued to look over the two guns "Although, it looks like he dialed the power back so it only has as much power as the original gun did" he smiled placing the revolvers back in their case "That man sure is sentimental in the strangest of places"

"Are you good with a pistol, Sir? I've never heard anything about this" Eve chimed in

"That's because I had already fallen out of practice by the time you were given to me by my father" he looked through the rest of the box "It seems he's included a sort of instruction list." He skimmed through the instructions. "Hm let's see 'Unlock triggers stage one'" he said, reading off one of the instructions

"Unlocking stage one triggers" said a voice from inside the revolvers, the lights on them pulsing in time with the words

"Jesus!" R?u said, surprised by the voice, and quickly being scolded by Eve for his language "He really put all the bells and whistles in these didn't he?" He read a little more before saying "Lock Triggers"

"Triggers Locked" the voice replied promptly

He spent a while reading the several pages of operation and maintenance instructions written by his father. "Well apparently," he said to Eve after he had finished "They also have a built in threat classification system, which automatically recommends the right trigger stage to use for an enemy. How interesting" He closed the box, before locking it and placing the manual on top. He then picked it up and walked over to his shelf, placing the box in an empty space. "Eve can you make an appointment at the nearest shooting range for me?"

"Right away, Sir" The AI replied before setting about the task

"Thank you Eve" R?u said, smiling "I think I'm going to go back to the DWMA to do some more studying on the book if nothing else. You'll hold down the fort while I'm out, won't you?"

"Of course, Sir"

"Then I leave the apartment in your care" He said, as he stepped out into the brisk November air.

Takono glanced over at him, noticing the boy watching him order first. He rubbed the back of his neck a little, but then nodded. Takono took out his wallet and took out some money, before shoving the wallet back into his pocket. He then ordered their things. Afterwards Takono picked out the donut he wanted, a maple bar with no filling, and then the best looking croissant. The employee handed it to Takono as he paid for it, he then carried it to a table and set it down, the worker saying the coffees would take a few minutes @PlaguedWithInsanity

Present time after the time skip:

" hi arya and eden have you seen alex" says kagoma with a very scratchy voice. " I haven't seen him since yesterday" she says coughing from her vocal cords being a little. Her brothers had made her sing the same song to them every night. They were claiming they couldn't sleep without her singing.

Zinnia looked at the man with her typical cold expression as he explained himself to her. He stated that he met someone who had 'looked like a I'm uncultured', and that he had wondered if that was what the entire school was full of. She furrowed a pale eyebrow at him, listening as he droned on, also mentioning something about said 'I'm uncultured' making his partner upset. So, he already had a partner; so why was she talking to him again? There was simply no point, she thought. What had annoyed Zinnia the most was his dead monotone voice. Did he not possess any relations to emotion, even in the slightest? Apparently not. He extended his hand out to her, that in which she hesitantly shook, soon dropping his hand hastily.
He told her that he did not mean her any harm by bumping into her, and that he was 'not an asshole'. "Primarily, I do not envision the entirety of the academy being as such a way as much a probable statistic." Zinnia pointed out in her still sharp voice. "Secondarily, I did not imagine you as such." she said to him, still confused at his lack of emotion. Was he human, or robot? Coming to the conclusion that robots being students here would be frankly impossible in addition to illogical, she quickly dismissed the thought. Either way, Zinnia had minimal opinion on his as of yet.

@Airagog
John looked up for a moment, thinking then nodding, "You are correct. It would indeed be highly improbable that the entire school is full of I'm uncultured. As such it would seem that such concerns are minimal." He said adjusting his glasses. "I am to assume that you are a student here. How have you been enjoying your days? Well I hope. Are you a weapon or meister. And are you paired or unpaired? If my questions seem intrusive I will apologize and retract them. If it would be better we could always sit down over a beverage such as coffee or a smoothie and have small talk and introductions. If you prefer just a quiet venue then the library is also a nice enough area." John said pointing down the hall when he mentioned drinks and pointing the other way when he mentioned library.

Rӯu Rӯu walked back up the stairs to the DWMA at a leisurely pace. He was no longer in a hurry, and wanted to appreciate the nice weather while it lasted. He walked through the doorways at the entrance to the DWMA. He continued walking at his leisurely pace, glancing into the classrooms as he passed by them. Eventually, he reached the library, and walked inside. He sat down at one of the empty tables near the back and pulled out a large leather-bound book, placing it on the table. '
Rӯu And now, the work begins' He thought to himself as he opened the book and started working.

Yoshiya After asking around, Yoshiya had learned that his cousin had left the Academy, then come back to study in the library. He headed down to the library to try to find his cousin.

When Yoshiya finally found him, Rӯu was hard at work studying the thick leather-bound book and writing into a notebook. He looked up when he heard Yoshiya walking over to him. "
Well, look who finally summoned the spirit to climb all those stairs" He said to Yoshiya with a smile "What have you been up to during your first day here at the illustrious Death Weapon Meister Academy?"

Yoshiya returned the smile as he sat down across from Rӯu. "
Oh you know, miscellaneous things. Registration, learning the layout of the school, the usual. Although I did have the pleasure of cleaning up another one of your messes"

"
First of all, that wasn't my mess, as the other asshole was provoking me." Rӯu said indignantly "And second, I kept anything from happening by getting the hell out of there before anything could happen."

Yoshiya laughed at the intensity of Rӯu's words "
Yes yes I know. I just like giving you shit" He replied "And besides, I spoke with the offending party, and he asked me to give you a message"

"
Oh yeah? And what did that asshat want?"

Even though the voice was the same, Yoshiya recognized the words as Kai's "
And hello to you too Kai. It's nice to see your sunny disposition" He said with a smile.

"
Cut the shit and just give me the message"

"
Alright, alright. He wanted me to tell you that he's sorry"

"
What?!" the voice was Rӯu's again

"
Yeah I thought it was strange too" Yoshiya said "Until I realized he was only doing it to win favor with his weapon partner"

"
Ah, that makes much more sense. Still, this is very unexpected"

"
Maybe for you it is" Yoshiya said, smiling slyly. He had a profound talent for predicting and anticipating outcomes, and enjoyed lording it over his cousin.

"
Really? You predicted that this would happen?" Rӯu said, his voice laced with skepticism.

"
No, but I didn't predict that it wouldn't happen" Yoshiya said

Rӯu rolled his eyes, sighing in exasperation, and returned to his studies.

Yoshiya laughed at his cousin's exasperation and leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes and relaxing.

Zinnia looked over at him as he had agreed with her on the extremely low percentage that she had given out to him. She had then noticed that his vocabulary had greatly yet suddenly increased from what it was a mere minute ago. "Positive. I am, in fact, a pupil here at this academy. My experience of this academy had been quite decent, but also quite a bit uneventful as of thus far. I am a Weapon, and am also unfortunately lacking of a partner. And no, your inquiries are in no way intrusive." she had responded to him as he barraged her with questions. "Going out somewhere for beverages does sound pleasant." Zinnia said to him as she watched his arm gestures. "Oh, by the by, I noticed I had never gotten your name." she said to him. "You may refer to myself as Zinnia." she said simply.

@Airagog

Archaius stood off to the side as Takono had ordered for them both. The masked male had picked out the doughnut that he wanted, as well as the brunette's croissant, and brought them both to a table. Their coffees would be done momentarily, it seemed. Archaius sat down and soon took a bit of his chocolate croissant, revealing his sharp teeth. "Mmm..." he hummed in response as he then swallowed it. Takono had not yet sat down, probably because he was waiting for the coffees to be done, most likely seeing sitting down right now as being a waste of time and effort before he could get their drinks.

John nodded, walking towards the other way from where he came, to the front of the school, walking as he did so, passing students in the hallway who largely ignored him. "My name is John Bard, the apologies for not introducing myself, and do not worry if you forget my name as people often do. Though I don't particularly hold it against them" He said as they walked down the hallway, careful to try and avoid traffic. "Really I tend to stick to myself and as such it garners little interest from other people. But I think I prefer it that way." He said as he opened the front door for her, letting her out in front of him. He might have been quiet and preferred to rarely talk, but he still had manners whenever he wasn't being blunt about what he thought about people."Best way to refreshments is this way, there's a local shop that sells good enough drinks. It's not particularly good but not particularly bad either. The good drinks I am afraid are supposedly at a club for those who look for attention and company. At least that is what I can gather from eavesdropping."

After a few moments, the coffees were ready. Takono then went and took them from the counter. He walked over to the table where Archaius was, and set the coffees down, before sitting down as well. He scooted his seat in a little bit, then took off his mask. Holding it one hand he looked for the best place to set it down. He set it next to him on the table, but then moved it closer to the edge, finding it a bit close to the food. Only a few seconds after he found that it was to close to the edge for him to be comfortable with, so he scooted it a few inches closer. This actually happened a few times, before the meister final just picked it up and carefully placed it under his seat. @PlaguedWithInsanity

Archaius looked back at the Meister as he brought their coffees and had sat down across from him. What he had not expected, however, was for his mask to come off, finally revealing his face to the brunette. He smiled slightly at him, although finding himself at a sudden loss for words when looking unto Takono's golden eyes, his soft face surrounded by neat silver locks. He never thought a man could be so beautiful as the one that was before him. He cleared his throat as he picked up his coffee, looking away from the Meister awkwardly as he took a sip. He sighed inwardly in relief to himself, seeing that Takono had been distracted by said mask. Archaius took a sip of his coffee, not sure of what to say next to the silver-haired male as he had finally found where to put the mask.

@DarkElite020

Takono looked at Archaius with a gentle expression. He noticed that there was a somewhat abrupt silence between them. He took his coffee between his hands, and looked down at the cup a moment, before taking a few sips as well. He stayed quiet a moment, before finally speaking up in an attempt to start a conversation. "..So um.. Archaius." He trailed off looking over at the brunette. "...Tell me a bit about yourself." He said, almost seeming demanding. It was more of him just being curious about the weapon,though he hadnt meant it to be forceful in the way that the words left his mind. He blinked and sat up straighter, and making a small bow of his head. "sorry... I... err... you dont have too... "

Archaius was about finished with half of his chocolate croissant before there was any conversation again. Takono had soon asked him to tell him about himself, him being surprised that the Meister had asked in a slightly demanding way, before quickly refuting the demanding with a more shy comment about only saying anything if he had actually wanted to. "What is there to tell?" Archaius joked with a laugh as he swallowed a bite of his croissant with a sip of black coffee. "I am an only child. I was home-schooled up until this point after about the first grade." he said, looking over at Takono, whom had bowed his head after telling him that it was not necessary for Archaius to him anything if he did not want to. "Hmm.." he hummed, thinking of what else to tell him.

Takono smiled. He began to eat his donut, occasionally wiping away a few crumbs away from his mouth with a napkin. He listened to the weapon speak. "I'm not an only child...I have a little sister... and this year is going to be my first year as a meister. Before I just went to regular schools." @PlaguedWithInsanity

Archaius looked at him as he began to eat his doughnut before finally speaking. He told the brunette that he had a younger sister and this school was his first with legitimate education for being a Meister. He wished he had a sister like Takono had. Instead, he was forced to suffer loneliness throughout his life up until now. "I wish I had a sibling." Archaius said as he took another sip of his coffee. "How old is she?" he asked Takono, hoping that he was not prying too much on the silver-haired male's personal life.

@DarkElite020

Takono made a small smile and sipped his coffee again. "It's nice..." he said. He continued to listen to the meister. He thought a moment. "She's eight this year." He said. He looked down to the table with a small sigh. He went quiet. He finished off his donut, before drinking more of his coffee. @PlaguedWithInsanity

Archaius smiled back at Takono as he expressed his admiration for his sister, even if he never explicitly said so, the brunette could just tell. But, when he had suddenly went quiet after stating her age, Archaius furrowed a concerned brow. "Are you okay?" he asked before taking a sip of his own coffee, finishing it off. He had since finished his croissant, but Takono was not finished with his food.

@DarkElite020

@PlaguedWithInsanity

Takono finished his coffee. "Yeah im fine. Why wouldnt I be?" He said, trying to play it off as if it was nothing. He put his mask back on. "so...um...tell me more...like what is something you like to do?" he asked, obviously trying to change the subject to something else

Archaius arched an eyebrow when the Meister said that everything was fine. Archaius, being as dense as he was, believed him and shrugged. "Alright then..?" Although a part of him was still skeptical of what Takono had said as well as how quickly he had changed the subject, he had thought about the silver-haired male's question of what was some things that he liked to do. "Well, like any student here, I like to fight?" he said, frowning when Takono had put his mask back onto his face.

@DarkElite020

UFO maintained his friendly and cheerful demeanor up until the male left the room. The friendly smile was wiped from his face cleanly, and twisted into a mocking sneer. "What, didn't you want me to act more like you flea-brained maggots so you could make some friends? I can stop being nice, and beat all their faces into the dirt where they belong instead." He flicked her forehead, hard, especially compared to the light jab on the forehead before. "Please, those types of pleasantries... the only thing they're useful for is making willing tools and puppets or tricking them so you can stab them in the back later. You are simply too naive to think that I'm being nice out of nowhere..." The golem set the weights back down, and picked up the smaller golem again.

"Aaah, now I'm bored. Might as well go and scrap this golem, seeing how it's going to be useless." UFO let out a yawn, and turned to the doorway. "Why don't you go make some more... friends? I'm sure they'll accept someone of equal or lower intelligence to them, hehahaha. Making friends... what a joke..." He strolled out of the gym, leaving Kylei behind.

@yumiyukifan1

Takono rubbed the back of his neck. Either way, he was just happy that Archaius believed him. Takono shrugged. "Well, I guess fighting is ok...I think its fun, but at the same time it depends on who I'm hurting...if its an enemy though I probably wouldn't mind it." He said. He then noticed that the weapon's frown. "Whats wrong?" He asks, tilting his head slightly. Did he say something wrong? @PlaguedWithInsanity

Archaius listened to the Meister as he told him that he thought that fighting was okay, but only against actual enemies. What if he had to practice gight against another Meister? At least Takono had said that it was fun. When he had asked Archaius what was wrong, he had assumed that his frown was spotted by the silver-haired male. "Why do you always wear that mask?" he asked, tilting his head slightly in response.

@DarkElite020

Takono chewed his lip at that question. "well... when my sister was young... my parents bought this mask for her at a festival that my family went to every year. Later she grew up and kept it.. but our parents..aren't...... aren't around anymore..and.. so it became pretty special to her. Though eventually when I told her I was going to leave so that I would be able to come to school here, she gave it to me as a gift.. So that I wouldn't forget her.." He said, before looking away and out the window of the bakery. @PlaguedWithInsanity

Rȳu sighed, closing the large book, as well as the notebook he was writing in. "Well I'm hungry" he said as he gathered all of his stuff together. It had been a while since he'd eaten breakfast, which hadn't been very big to begin with. "I'm going to see if I can find either Shibe, or John, and grab a bite to eat. Care to join us?"

"
No, that's quite alright" Yoshiya replied as he sat up in his chair "I have a few errands that I need to take care of this afternoon."

"
Aight" Rȳu said, grabbing his vest from the back of the chair he had been using, and putting it on. "I'm probably going to stop by the store on my way back. Need me to pick up anything."

"
We need another loaf of bread so you should probably get one. I think that's it though"

"
Okay, I'll make sure to do that. See you later" Rȳu headed out of the library, waving back to Yoshiya as he left. He walked through the halls of the DWMA, looking for Shibe first, as he had seen John exiting the Academy. "I wonder what she's up to," he thought aloud as he walked.

"You have such a gift of making people hate you... And don't flick my head!!! It hurts, y'know?!"

The blonde turned away from the tomato's exit and continued to rub her poor forehead. That Baka!!! She was too slow to keep up!!! She should've known!!! How credulous she was!!! He was always a jerk.... And why flick the forehead?! It hurts.... Uuaah... Well. It couldn't be worse than a slap. If he slapped her forehead, she would rip his hair out. A flick is painful, but it ebbs away after a few minutes or so. Her mother used to flick her ears... Now she pulls it... Crysten stopped rubbing and looked at the punching bag. However, Nose Hair-sama did help her gain a friend.... So maybe he had a bit of kindness in him? Nah! Aha. And she owed him a favor. Once she finishes that for him, they're even? What was the favor? @Strawberry Preserves

The teen patted the leather and hoped no one noticed the tear in the bag. She grabbed the large weights and tried to lift them off of the ground. Tch. They only reached her ankles. After the attempts she made to lift them over her head 2 or 5 times, her arms began to ache, so she decided to do this another time and headed outside to the hallways. Maybe she could find Ryu and Yoshiya around? Yeah, she had to apologize for herself and Nose Hair-sama. Or maybe Yoshiya already reached him. Something caught her eye and she rushed to it. What was this? "Oh!!! New missions for the NEW students? Ahahaha!" She took one randomly. YESSS!!!! Her smile flew back and she twirled herself round and round until her thigh met the chair and they both tumbled down. The blonde finally read the mission and kicked the chair off her.
