Zeke’s mind is racing and he is visibly panicked

she walks over to zeke "you okay?" she asks worriedly

Zeke stammers, “Uh... yeah... I’m just not used to all this... My life was pretty carefree before this... I had friends, I had sports... The only thing I didn’t really do is video games...”

 

[xXSunnyXx]

"ah i see, im a huge gamer so i kinda get how this works" she said with a shrug "if you want, you can stick with me from now on, until you get the hang of things" she said looking away

 

[RoseAstasia]

“That sounds good...” Zeke smiled

The group arrives at an inn

“Alright, you four can probably stay here for the night.” Trevor looked to Ashlyn, “since you seem to have the best idea of how the menu works so far, I’m going to give you the gold. Each room costs 5G, so I’m going to give you 40. That way you can get rooms, breakfast, and whatever else you think you need for tomorrow. Whatever you feel like doing.”

He presses The gold icon in his inventory and puts a small stack of gold in his hotbar. He removes it and gives it to Ashley, “Now, have you all thought of a Username that you wanna be called? I kinda need it if I’m going to add you to contacts. You might want to snap your fingers to see if you didn’t already set one by accident, and I forgot to mention this earlier, but if you introduced yourself inside the crate, the game doesn’t count that for some reason. Not a lot of people do that though.”

Xavier snaps his fingers and his name tag appears as Not_Sure

Lark snaps and it appears as All_Wet

Zeke snaps and it appears as ‘Zeke’

she takes the gold and pays for rooms and after she puts the rest of the gold in her inventory for later Ashlyn then snaps her fingers and her username appears as Ash, she nods to herself in satasfaction

“Daaaaahhh! Whyyyyyy...” Lark exclaimed, “I hate being wet... why did it have to be that...”,

“How many rooms did you get?”, Zeke asked

"1 for each of us" she said looking to zeke and then she handed everyone their key to their rooms

Lark took the key and walked up to the innkeeper, “do you know if there is any way to dry off?” She was still soaking from when she got out of the crate.

Zeke took his key, “that’s good. For a second I thought I was going to share a room with the other guy... I think he was... Not_Sure..? I don’t think he told us his name...”

"yeah i figured since i had enough gold for 8 people and there are only 4 of us -assuming trevor can pay for his own room- that would mean everyone gets their own room and i will still have 20G left for us to get food and such" she said heading to her room

 

[RoseAstasia]

“Makes sense. I wonder how much food and equipment that would get us considering the rooms only cost 5G each.”, Zeke walked to his room

since ash was alone she decided to take the time to learn some of the controls and such, she first practiced the ones she knew, then she experimented and found some ones she didn't know

The Innkeeper chuckled, “Here”, she handed Lark a towel, “I take it you got your Username soon after this happened”

“Yeah”, Lark pouted

The innkeeper decided to tell Lark a useful piece of information, “when you put a wet or dirty item in your inventory, it will be back to it’s clean state unless it is supposed to be that way. It won’t repair any damage though, so if there are any rips, don’t expect them to be patched. Also, if you lend someone an outfit, it doesn’t matter what size it is, the world will automatically change it to whatever is best suited to your comfort”, she waved as Lark walked to her room, “remember to bring the towel back to the desk in the morning!”

Zeke opened the inventory and looked at it for a few seconds. He still wasn’t used to it, but he wanted to learn as much as he could. It seemed like he would be here for a while.

ash locked her room door and went to the bathroom, starting up the shower and removing her clothes before stepping into the warm shower and washing up

Xavier took his key and went to his room after a bit he figured out how to open his menu and he played around in it a little, before finally going to bed

she blow-dried her hair then braided it and went to bed

Zeke notices a button in the top right corner of the window labled, ‘settings’, “that’s odd”, he clicks it, “huh...”

:The next day:

as the sun shone through her window she slowly stirred awake soon leaving the comfort of her bed and getting some fresh clothes then going to the bathroom and getting dressed

Turnip got out of her bed stretching grabbing her hat "man im so tired. I wonder whats been going on in the tavern?" she put on her adorably oversized with hat and walked out of her room locking the door behind her.

Xavier was Laying in bed hoping that this was just all a bad dream

After experimenting through most of the night, Zeke thinks he has figured out the menu. The settings are to his liking. He decided to leave his room for a brief moment to see if anyone else was awake. Half asleep, he accidentally ran into someone.

Turnip jumped and summoned her staff turning around. She relaxed after seeing it was a half asleep noob. She laughed to herself "morning stranger" she tipped her witch hat jokingly
