“Thank you...” Lark picks up her own silverware, “do they taste the same as the other world?”

Xavier “that depends do you think we’re in a computer or another dimension” he made a gesture like he was grabbing his whole menu and putting it away and the menu closed

Zeke looked at him for a second, “I don’t think this is a computer... it seems a little too advanced to be that... Nice gesture, by the way”

Xavier gives him a questioning look “thanks but don’t you know how great computer graphics have become recently?”

 

[RoseAstasia]

“Yeah... but usually computers have to load things with a render distance. It would probably take a quantum computer to render such high quality models, animations, stats, battle systems, spawn rates, interactions, weather patterns, items, exchanges, and places all at once in real time. And we can sense it all as if it was real, even the smallest breeze”,
he leaned onto his arm which was planted on the table, “The creatures all seem to be different from the ones on earth too... And the plants are even mostly different to the ones at home, they looked similar, but their growing patterns, color, and even texture is off. Even the field looked different than real wheat if you looked close enough...”
He sighed, “It would take an omnipotent being to design such a game... either that, or multiple generations of people working on it until it was purfect... But considering it started 40 years ago... That couldn’t be possible due to the way technology was...”
He looked over to see the girls eating pancakes, “I wonder when Ash is going to get up... I wanna buy some food...”

Xavier looked a little dumbfounded “you know a lot more about computer engineering than you let on” he shook his head “ok look I get that it would take immense power to make a computer program as in depth as this, but it would also take even more power to make an entire dimension like an mmorpg” he scratched the back of his head “try explaining the game menus any other way, and like Trevor said yesterday if you talk about something from another game enough it becomes incorporated into this world.” A look like he had an apiffany came across his face as he sat there now thinking to himself

Zeke smiled, “Yeah, I did all kinds of things in my life. I played sports, had friends, I got on my PC a lot, but I rarely ever played video games. I’ve researched into coding and watched a lot of videos, but I don’t know very much about actually playing them... well, unless I try to make one... but it never works when I try because I put more effort into other things. I know how they work, just not how they work...”, he noticed the expression change, “what’s up?”

Xavier “what if-“

Alex “HI GUYS” she slams her hands down on the table, then smiles and forces Zeke Oder and sits next to him “what’s for breakfast?”

Zeke looked to Alex, “I don’t know. We don’t have any Gold, and I don’t even know what kind of food they have here... I know they have pancakes... but I don’t know what they could be made out of considering... Eggs... No chickens... Unless someone talked about them a lot..? But even then they could be huge and powerful...”

Alex ruffled Zeke’s hair “oh just pick something” she hands him a menu “and don’t over think it, you might hurt yourself”

Xavier had grabbed a menu as well and was browsing through it

Zeke looked through the menu, “the only thing I recognize are pancakes...” he looks over to Lark, “How are the pancakes?!”

Lark turns around, “Different than home, but better! I think they have berries of some kind in them!”, she goes back to eating pancakes and looks to Turnip, “how did they make such masterpieces?”

“I think I’ll try pancakes I guess...”, Zeke scratches his head.

Xavier “i’ll Try the maggellok stew?” He said with a questioning look

Alex “ok” she got up with a smile and walked over to the waiter talking to him

“I wonder what a Maggellok is..?”, he sits holding the menu, “What’s a Tremburn?”

 

[RoseAstasia]

Trevor walks over and sits next to them seeming as if he came from nowhere almost, “Think of a huge, sentient, ice cube that’s crying because it’s on fire. It’s slushy tears can be made into some pretty good ice cream. Have you seen Alex anywhere? There’s something important I need to talk to her about...”

Xavier points her out of the crowd

Alex was flerting with the waiter to try and get a better price on their food

Trevor gets up and walks over to Alex, “Alex... There’s something I need to talk to you about”, he whispered

Alex gives him a confused look “what?”

 

[RoseAstasia]

Trevor looks around to see multiple people, “it probably isn’t something that I should say here. Someone else might be interested in what I have to say”, he starts walking away, motioning her to follow.

Alex droops her shoulders and tilts her head back “ugh” she then followed him out

Xavier watched them go “looks like we aren’t getting brakefast”

Zeke’s head drops, “food...”

Trevor stops and looks around to make sure the coast is clear, “Last night I went to one of the higher level dungeons. Around level 30. I came across one of the treasure chest rooms... There was a Merchant NPC standing nearby, so I went to sell some of my junk so I wouldn’t have to scroll as much in my inventory. And he had a Revival Tablet..”

Xavier looked around a little and got a devilish grin

Alex’s eyes grew wide “WHAT!! Did you get it?” She looked a little concerned

A man waked into the tavern and sat down at the bar. Above his head was the username The Golder Fister. The bartender recognized him, winked and gave him a drink "this one is on the house" The Golden Fister thanked him and took a drink

“No, I didn’t have enough G, but I put a sack over his head and put him in my inventory so we can buy it once we earn enough. But that isn’t even the crazy part... I went to the treasure chests to see what kind of rare loot might be in them. I found a few awesome weapons and pieces of armor that I’m gonna share with you later, but guess what else I found...”

Alex “what?“

Xavier pushed zeke’s arm “Follow my lead” he then got up and began slowly walking over to a table with people and food

Zeke Nodded and followed

Trevor leaned in and whispered, “Another Revival Tablet...”, He grins
