Bruce clenches his teeth and face into an angry expression. "Okay, I'm glad I was sitting down. What will she do with all that power though? Will she just attack anything but Europe and America? Or destroy both through different means?"

Overtime Witch lands in front of the house. She releases her exoskeleton and faces Jackie. "He's inside. Good luck..."

Jackie stumbles out, almost completely eating shit when her leg still gives out, despite numbness. She growls a few curses under her breath, inspecting the healing wound with a displeased scowl. The bleeding has significantly slowed now, though it doesn't look like the actual wound with be sealed up for a while. Sighing, she limps to the door, hesitating to enter. Alpha could hate her for killing him, which isn't something she'd be able to blame him for. Steeling her nerves, she opens the door slowly, spotting Alpha standing in the house. She stops herself before she throws herself at him or bursts into tears - she's very pointedly ignoring the pricking feeling in her eyes - as she looks to him. She starts to speak, but notices Sierra as she opens her mouth, then blinks, "Oh. Uh, sorry. I... can come back later. If you're busy."

Bruce slammed his fists down onto the table, completely collapsing it. "Rrgh.... This is all hopeless. Either way we may face the possibility of death and destruction for the world... I won't make any decisions or take any sides that would betray the guild. Ask everyone else, I can't make up my mind on it."

Tears well in her eyes when it dawns on her he is not only the opposite of angry, but was worried for her safety, and she buries her face into his shoulder to hide the tears starting to spill over, throwing her arms around him and crushing him in a hug, "You stole my line, asshole," She says, her tone coming off sarcastic even though she sounds like she's on the brink of tears. She laughs into his shirt, her voice thick as she deflects his question, "I stab you in the fucking stomach and you ask me if I'm okay? How did you even live? You... You disintegrated."

She shifts so he puts her down, wincing as steps on her back leg, then reaches up and squishes his cheeks together with a frown, "I hope that you know I cried when you played dead, bastard. Sierra was around the corner in Alpha's sight holding up a sign. Get the booty! Were the words written on it in red.

She turns to Emily and picks her up so she can carry her to Julie. "Thank you for talking to me while I was comatose. I heard it all." With that, Morgan heads towards Julie to get Emily healed.


Hekate decides on bringing them the news later so they can make the decision together.


"So this is what you had in store. Alright, that's enough." Itami fires a blast of life flame from his palm to counter the Ki Ko Ho. He uses replacement magic to put Bruce in between the two blasts. Itami's scythe stops before it hits him and seems to levitate. "I wouldn't be dumb enough to throw my weapon if I didn't have control over it." The scythe flies back towards Lucien and Itami races after it. He grabs the scythe and passes Lucien by at high speeds. He has life flame erupt from his body when he does pass him by which envelops half of Lucien's body. It heals him and gives him his full strength back. Itami stops slightly behind Kai'zen. His scythe was hooked around his neck covered in death flame. A flame he inherited from his father Lucifer, a flame that burns the soul of living organisms. "Alright, I've taken up enough if your time." He has the death flame on his scythe turn into life flame so he can tap Kai'zen with it. Once he does, Kai'zen's energy is filled once more. Itami pulls his scythe away and leans on it instead. "You're an extremely powerful bunch."


Apex pulls away from him swiftly because of this. "W-what are you saying Isaac?!"

Isaac's cheeks turned a light shade of red as he said, "I'm saying that I can depend on you and that I wouldn't know what to do if you weren't here."

Dark was in her ballet room Felix set up for her if she ever came to visit a long time ago. She walks on her own two feet since Sanctum did a splendid healing job using her mana. Carnage was in the far corner watching her and for some reason he encouraged her to come down to this room to dance. "Are you sure I should be doing this right now?"


"Yes go right ahead. You need to push brush up on your skills, after this we'll start with singing practice."





Dark raises an eyebrow but decides to dance regardless. She thinks of how her grandmother would dance the same way she fights. Which carried on to her when she was taught how to dance. She loved all forms of dancing but she was mostly a ballerina. She starts to find her inner motion and starts off with a pirouette.


She was going planning on continuing with the rotations but the door suddenly opens and makes her attention shift elsewhere. She stops when she sees a 14 year old girl standing with Morgan and her younger sister.





"Looks like it's time to take in your child." Carnage laughs to himself and starts to approach the group.


Dark's heart skips a beat when Carnage says this. "My child? Emily?!" It took Dark a moment to recognize her since the last time she saw her was when she lost control of herself in the war. She knew a lot about the child since she would speak to her frequently in the cocoon but this is the first time in a year that she'd be seeing her face to face. Her arms opened instinctively when Emily ran over to her. Dark had heard about Raven and Justin. Emily was all she had left of the three and she nearly lost her because she was too afraid to use her powers. When her arms wrap around Emily she decided that she would adopt this child and even if she couldn't use mana anymore, she would try her to protect Emily if it were the last thing she did. Thinking back on the times Emily would always ask if she were going to be adopted, Dark lightly smiles. "My name is Alice Van Fen'rir. From now on, your name is Emily Van Fen'rir." When she heard Emily's breath hitch her heart warmed, maybe things wouldn't be so bad in the world. She would love to introduce Emily to Layla.
