Abyssum appears with Siobhan in her arms and approaches Grimm. "Oh brother! First you have me babysit this little angel and now you request a meeting. Are you trying to get your little sisters attention? If you really want to hang out you could just ask." She carefully hands Siobhan over to Grimm who only rolls his eyes in response to her comment.


"Oh please Aby. Thank you for watching over Sio." Grimm looks at Siobhan herself and smiles. "Did you have a good time? Did auntie tell you any secrets she shouldn't have?"


Abyssum's smile starts to become forced. "Nope! None at all! No need to ask!"


Grimm looks over at his younger sister for a good minute and shrugs his shoulders. "Alright then, I'll take your word for it." Grimm turns his attention back to his daughter. "We're about to discuss something's that may involve our mother. Well... When Timor shows up."

Dark ended up spending the remainder of the day with Emily and took the child to her room to get some sleep. Waking up to a child was something she was expecting during her time in the cocoon but now that it's happening it's something life changing that she'd have to adjust to. She couldn't do her own thing anymore and make enemies with whoever she pleases since it could affect Emily in the long run. She also has to refrain from being a bad role model for the child. Once she tucks Emily into her bed she decides to get in with her since Carnage keeps screaming about bonding in her mind. Emily didn't mind either. "Hey... Emily. Why are you so determined to have me as your mother? Lets be honest, in terms of parenting I'm not the best person in the guild to choose."


Emily settles into the bed and decides to bring up her reasons why. She always thought about it since there were pretty good choices. Yet, Alice was number one in her opinion. "Well because of your personality. I don't know you all too well but I like you so far. You're nice to me and I enjoy my time with you since you're not boring. Not too strict.... but not too reckless. Most of all the look in your eyes that day you saved me and your strength. I admire it... a lot."


Dark fell silent with each word. She never responded until Emily fell asleep. She buries her face in her pillow as if that would be a way to bury the pain. "I'm not as great as you think Emily. I betrayed my friends that I was supposed to 'protect'. I'll try but I can't assure you that I'll be the best mother you could've met."


Witch ended up falling asleep in her room as soon as night fell. If she had to battle a witch for her own soul each time she fell asleep then it's essential that she gets enough sleep every night, so she doesn't end up taking naps during the day. She was inside some odd dreamscape with Julius coiled around her shoulders.


"It's time we deepen the contract. Once we do, the further you go on this path the more you and I become one. My abilities shall become yours with each step thought and the same with your abilities going to me. You're a witch designed for summoning so that will be a good addition for me. Morgan, in time you'll become interconnected with every witch and future witch. You'll be responsible for everything they do from now on and you cannot interfere with their usage of witch mana due to your own bias unless they affect you personally. I will put you through harsh training whenever I see fit and you must complete it without error. Every time you sleep will become a battle for your soul against a witch who has died long ago. Your inner demons will come to life and they will haunt you until you can defeat them and then overcome them. Your regular life will never be the same and most of your time will be spent outside of this realm. Once you start up on this path you may never turn back. You can only continue or lose your soul. When we deepen this contract you can no longer die from age, meaning you'll be stick with this curse until you're killed or you fall off the path. You have already accepted this contract without hearing most of the terms earlier just to save one friend. Now I'm explaining it to you in a more serious environment. This is the life you'll be living from now on. Now are there any conditions on your side of the contract?"





Witch knew this would happen since she did this for a person who wouldn't go as far in return. It didn't matter at all to her since it's her fault alone since she accepted it without thinking. Also since it's Jackie's life, she didn't have to risk it just because Witch did for her. "In this contract... I want no secrets between us from now on."


Julius seems to be thinking for a while before his tongue flicks out of his mouth again like it usually does for any other snake. "I can accept these terms. Welcome to hell... here comes your first visitor."





Morgan can feel something within her shift. She looks up at the weird tree-like statue. Witch mana flows out of the purple screens and forms into the body of an ancient witch. "Julius, speaking of no secrets. What's her name, background, personality, and powers?"





"Aaahh. Ahset my sweet! She has control over poisons and loves to make others bend to her will. Ancient Egyptian type of girl. Trust me you'll love her if you can turn her into an ally after defeating her."





"This is going to suck."

She tucks some stray hair that has fallen out of the elaborate braid on her head behind her ear, then puts her hands in her lap, looking up at Grimm and frowning, "What is the importance of my grandmother, now of all times? The Dark Arts should be more of the forefront of our mind. Mother's wards are strong, yes, and Vincent - the fellow who makes the barriers? - does well in maintaining them, but there's no telling whether or not they are working on a way to breach Valhalla without my permission. Though I did enjoy my time with Aunt Aby, I shouldn't be leaving Valhalla."


"She's right," Following the sound of her voice, the air shivers, then Timor appears, dressed in a robed dress ensemble made of shadow. A shawl covers her head, and she scowls at Grimm, "At the current instability of every realm, our mother hardly makes the list of priorities. As it is now, Valhalla is the only place the Dark Arts will be unable to invade, and that can't last forever. Siobhan is your child, yes, but she is a queen before she is that. She shouldn't need to be baby-sat. Beyond that, I have responsibilities of my own. I can't simply drop every to bend to your whim, Grimm."

They have beings from the realm itself and is it really a coincidence that they're asking for the key elements to open up the portal to the Abyssal Realm? What troubles me the most is the deal they've made. Give up the elements and the world is saved or refuse to do so and the world ends. About Valhalla and the current state of the realm. I can watch over them and work on protecting them as long as I get your word that you'll both work on preparations for the Abyssal Realm. I want the Dark Arts to get their hands on the key elements. If they do, they can open the portal to the Abyssal Realm and return the world back to the way it was. Which will be a good thing since we can work on a way to trap them in there for good or eliminate them on our home turf." Grimm glances at both his sister's and holds his daughter tightly to him. I ended up staying there alot longer than I thought I would just to look at the stars in the sky." Isaac said glancing at Apex then to the night sky saying, "I always felt so much calmer when I looked at the stars, it always made me feel like everything would turn out alright."

Just before Siobhan vanishes with Grimm, she waves to her aunts. After she is gone, Timor takes a more grave mood. "Sister, I'll admit this, but you have more knowledge on this realm than I do. What beings are capable of opening the portal without specialized spells?"

Grimm appears in the throne room of Valhalla and sets Siobhan in her chair. "To rule at such an age. You're smart, talented, and I'm sure you'd make your mother just as proud as I am." He leans over and plants a kiss on her forehead. "Your mother wouldn't allow me to stay in here for too long. So my time here is short. Is there anything you need from me before I have to leave? As your father or a deity?"


Abyssum taps her chin with one finger and looks up. "Hhhmmm. Oh! Powerful beings originally from the Abyssal Realm, things with Abyssal Realm's permission to enter, and other entities that govern things. For example dread, hatred, love, carnage, and much more. That's to open your own personal portal towards it which is the usual way people travel to different realms and or the way to enter the large portal orbiting the Earth. But that portal is inaccessible since it only appears when the deity realms portal casts a shadow which is on the opposite side of the Abyssal Realm orbiting the Earth as well. To cast the shadow you would have to seal up that deity realm portal and....." That's when it hit Abyssum even after Grimm's speech. "This is bad."
