Lucien back flipped away from Itami the twin tails of his armor trailing behind him as he gained some distance his hand held out his spear flew back to it much like Thor's Mjolnir. As the flame approached him he grinned his pearly whites flashing even through the darkness cast over his face he pointed his spear tip forward a complex spell circle spreading from the blade as dragon fire leapt forward taking the shape of a dragon's head with its maw open. Kai'zen leapt back smiling his greatsword raised high an almost identical but black spell circle forming a larger dragon's head ripped its way out of the circle the darkness it was made of abysmal. Both heads tore through the life flame and rushed towards Itami jaws closing as they neared their target.

There it was, Itami seemed to be held up by those two, he'd have to make the attack count for it to do anything. Course, that was if he didn't replace himself somewhere. He rushed in while Itami was still distracted by his teammates, deciding to get close before firing ki blasts that would come from different sides of Itami and hopefully trap him. This plan could so easily backfire with his replacement magic though.

Bruce had jumped back out of the way of the flames after firing his ki blasts, making sure he was out of the dust cloud so Itami couldn't catch him anymore off guard. By the way he was talking he would be fine and would probably attack one of them. He was ready.

He always knew how to make her feel better and now that the majority of the cat shape shifter trait was within her she began to lightly purr at the pats on her head. "You're right. What would I ever do without you?" Royal closes her eyes and enjoys the treatment while she listens to his heartbeat. She could sit her forever if she wanted to.

It would've been more funny if he didn't whip out the scythe and try to stab me with it."

The snake falls on to the ground in pain. It wanted to die and in seconds it got what it asked for when it blew up in fire and acid. The phoenix flies over to Jackie at the same moment Emily jumps into her arms.

Jackie scoops Emily into her arms without a word, holding her in a way similar to bridal style and as easily as if Emily weighed nothing, but flipping Emily so that her head lays in Jackie's shoulder, her body facing her. Jackie holds her around the girl's shoulders, her arms hooked around Emily's knees. A tendril coils around Jackie's injured leg, giving it enough support for her to be able to run. The snake exploding into acid and flame gives her no time to even test her weight on her leg, so she bolts through the door, trying to ignore the dizzying pain burning through her leg. One of the demon arms grabs a door off it's hinges and throws it at the phoenix nipping at their heels, more trying to buy time and put distance between them than actually trying to cause harm.

"It's nice to know you're not calling me meat sack anymore." Witch starts to dash down the halls towards Jackie. The voice sounded different but she decided to follow it anyways.

The Sanctum within Isabel snarls, but the more distant one simply chuckles, " Maybe it would be somewhat rude, if it were not true. Humans are just sacks of meat," The voice pauses, new images of Jackie carrying Emily down a hallway appearing in Isabel's mind. The voice hums, then sends different directions to Isabel. " It seems Jackie is finding her own way out. Won't last long, though; she won't be going anywhere quickly on that leg. [/font["

He took the hit since he was playing the role of an enemy and most of the opponents Dragon's Roar will face won't be as fast as him. He also took the hit to show them the extent of their combined power. He was practically playing as a practice dummy. He uses replacement magic to get behind Bruce and attempts to strike him on the back if the head with the staff of his scythe. His swing wasn't as strong since he wasn't completely healed.

Witch was speeding down the halls until she heard an uproar around the corner. Once she turns the corner she was happy and disgusted at the same time. It was great to see Emily and Jackie again but the state they were in was terrible. Luckily her split personalities have gotten the healing from Sanctum since Jackie needed to get the healing ability back as soon as possible. Hopefully Julie could heal Emily as well.


"Jackie! We're getting out of here!" Witch mana bursts from the spine and tail of her exoskeleton and envelops the Dark Arts members until their souls were devoured as well. "Alright Sanctum, it's time for you to go home."

Bruce again uses the advice Itami gave to him and sent out a ki pulse from his body to knock him back. He did that as he pivoted around, not just letting it stop at the pulse. He followed up with a barrage of quick jabs to Itami's torso and ending with a hard kick right into his gut to finish off the combo.

Itami waits for the spears to be less than an inch away from his body before he uses replacement magic to switch places with Kai'zen. He hooks his scythe's blade around Bruce's neck. "When dealing with an opponent who can switch places with you. It wasn't a very good idea to set me up in such a checkmate position and isolate me from your other teammate. Now that you put yourself directly behind him all I had to do is switch and I can kill him before you can reach me. Also if Bruce decides to have Ki burst out of his body it will only push me back and encourage decapitation. That's the third time Bruce has died but this time it's the loss for the team as a whole."

Jackie is doing this odd combination of a hop, a limp, and a stagger as she books it down the hallway, still maintaining a fairly fast pace despite the state of her leg. When she reaches Witch, her state seems to be almost sad to look at. Human durability has not done her any favours, evident by her almost profusely bleeding leg that has left bloody footprints behind her. She has bruises across her throat from where Alpha strangled her, and one of her eyes is starting to swell from a bad black eye. When she sees Witch at the end of the hall, she almost falls to her knees in relief, but continues on, keeping her grip on Emily strong but adjusting her grip so she holds Emily with only one arm. Once she reaches Witch, she grabs Witch by the side of the head so she can look at her, "Are you okay, kid?" She shakes her head quickly, grabbing Witch by her exoskeleton and fixing her with a glare, "What the fuck are you doing here? Do you have any idea what a stupid fucking idea it is to be here?"

Witch takes her daughter in her arms and smiles. "Hello.... I'm technically your mother. I'll get you out of here soon." She sets Emily down for a moment so she could walk behind Jackie. The rib cage opens up and closes around Jackie while the bones around her legs wrap around Jackie as well so her legs won't dangle while she flies. She turns to Emily and picks her up, only to squeeze her into the exoskeleton rib cage as well. "Sanctum... Jackie. It's time for you two to have a reunion." Witch flies upward into a portal which was unfortunately inaccurate. It took them above the destroyed ice. "Well that went badly." Several dark arts members appear on broken pieces of ice since they had teleportation symbols set on them. "Looks like they won't give up on us."

"If you wanted the horse or the flowers, you should've given me more warning on waking up, sleeping beauty."

Jackie narrows her eyes at Isabel, "You shouldn't take those risks for me. It's not worth the cost, Witch," Her brow furrowed, and she rubs her unhurt eye with the heel of her hand. Her leg still hurt like a motherfucker, but she was biting down complaints. She puts her hands on either side of Isabel's face, drawing the fraction of Sanctum from Isabel slowly, as she didn't want any drawbacks from doing it suddenly. Isabel feels the voices of Sanctum's demons start to fade, until they go completely silent. The minute they vanish, Jackie lets out a quiet sigh, her eyes closing as Sanctum forces Jackie's entire leg to go numb so he can heal it more easily.
