Lucien and Kai'zen just watched though Lucien's seemed like he was eager to fight his recovery from the training mostly finished he opened and closed his right fist watching the fight and observing the different tactics implemented. Lucien felt that this was a match based on speed, while it seemed that the scythe wielder could just use replacement magic on the target and redirect them as previously shown he knew that magic such as that wouldn't work if the caster could not track and lock onto his opponents, and when it came to speed few were faster than Lucien.

"And if I say no?" Bruce waited a bit and suddenly a ki blast came up from the ground and expanded right in Itami's face, more to stun him than to actually harm him. Right as it flashed Bruce rushed in and threw a flurry of punches right into Itami's torso. They were more based around speed than damage.

Swift opponents? Pay attention? Bruce could see it now, almost literally but definitely figuratively. Itami wasn't using replacement magic right now. He was actually moving himself. He possibly could trap him somehow but that speed was still amazing. If only he could make Itami make the first move instead of him it would make things a lot easier on him. He took an internal deep breath and sharpened all of his senses, feeling the scythe coming down and Itami behind him. Bruce quickly pivoted on his ankle and thrust a fist at Itami in seemingly one movement. He'd have to keep himself focused on everything if he stood a chance, trapping him would come later.

The fact that combined with Itami's own strength and Bruce fully allowing him to move him meant he had plenty of speed behind the kick. Itami would usually swap the debris in the air with death flame but this isn't the case since it would kill somebody. Instead he swaps the debris for a poison gas. It wasn't lethal but it would paralyze the body. At least he hoped he replaced the debris for the right kind of poison. If it ended up being lethal.... oops.

Kai'zen flapped his wings generating a powerful wind to blow the debris turned gas away. As soon as Itami came into view Lucien was at his throat his spear aimed at his head. Kai'zen came in to lock Itami between him and Lucien, swinging his great sword in the opposite direction and at Itami's knees. Speed and surprise was their advantage and they would use it to the maximum effect.

"Oh so you used the element of surprise hm? You should have striked me though, since you're a bit slower than I am speed won't give you the one up you thought it could. This surprise would have been a game changing chance, too bad you wasted it." Itami uses replacement magic on Lucien to switch him with a rock underneath his feet. Which was strange since Lucien was now standing inside Itami to take the blow from Kai'zen. What could explain why Itami's standing there in such a holographic fashion is because he left an after image of himself. Itami wasn't too far away leaning on his scythe. "I do like the teamwork but it would be beneficial if you include Bruce in it. Since you are a guild it would be much more effective to practice with collaboration tactics." He points at Kai'zen. "Also your speed will be put up by a few seconds if you put away the spear while travelling and pull it out once you stop. Things would be much easier if you put spear boy's speed to use to keep me busy with the addition of Bruce's ki to fend me off and keep me limited to a few places to evade towards, that's when it would be best to strike after trapping me."

He replaces the air in his free palm with bunch of strawberries and starts to eat.

A whirlwind kicked up around and he glowed with a crimson light, the red outline forming armor before solidifying he stood with his spear at the ready puff of his breath was visible for some reason but it didn't matter all that mattered was that even while he stood there Lucien was simultaneously striking at Itami whipping the spear around like it was nothing he struck for Itami's abdomen with the butt of the spear then swung the blade of his spear to his right deliberately missing Kai'zen was covering Itami's rear making his only escape route a path that would have him move directly towards Bruce. Kai'zen's greatsword was wrapped in darkness as he swung upward a strike that would cut Itami in two from his left hip to his right shoulder.

There it was, Itami seemed to be held up by those two, he'd have to make the attack count for it to do anything. Course, that was if he didn't replace himself somewhere. He rushed in while Itami was still distracted by his teammates, deciding to get close before firing ki blasts that would come from different sides of Itami and hopefully trap him. This plan could so easily backfire with his replacement magic though.
