Fantasy Dragons Reborn

Magnus Cain

Magnus was watching Forest gulp down his ale, a little to fast even for Magnus. He almost looked like was gonna be kissing the ground in a minute. "Forest your not suppose to drink it that fast if this is your first time. Even Willow is a light weight and she's doing better because she has more experience with then you." Magnus was a little buzzed form his ale so he still was able know what was going on around him. He could here a couple of people asking around what happened last night. The only thing is Magnus could not believe anyone would not know what went down.

Willow the Hydra

She started drinking the ale almost as soon as it arrived, reaching about 1/3 of the way down befre she even realized. "Yeah slow down silly. Wouldn't want you passing out. But it would be soooo funny if you did," she said, deleriously happy from the small amount of alcohol she had consumed. At this point, she was starting to look for men for real, but she still couldn't find any to fit her lowered standerds. Mind you lowered from near impossible to attain, but still lowered. "Holy craaap there are like no hot guys in here! You guys! This is a problem! Who will I seduce now?" she said, suddenly distressed. Usually this was no problem, but since there were less guys in here due to the attack, pickings were slim.

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonForrest pushed the mug away from himself, the dizzy feeling getting slightly stronger than his first few sips. He closed his eyes and tried to get a bearing on what was happening before speaking, "I... I want anymore... what? I meant... no." The man leaned back, not even wanting to speak when he realized how difficult it became. What were they trying to make him do...? This had to be the work of some sort of poison.

Magnus Cain

Magnus had never seen anyone so drunk in life and not even from a full mug. Willow was so drunk that she looked like she could of laughed herself to death.

He really didn't want to ruin there fun times together but one of them had to responsible. "Hey guy's how about we hang by my place after this. Forest doesn't look like he should be going back to the woods yet." Magnus prepared for any disagreements that might come from Willow since she still looked like she was on the prowl.

Lilly made a small huff of air, quite happy that her brute strength had solved her problems...again...ahh who said muscles didn't solve most things? It was then that Eyeface and Alicia came into the room, and she barely even blinked. Afterall, she didn't see anything wrong with how she was acting, he tried to leave and she stopped him. There was nothing innuendo in her mind.

Eyeface thanked Lilith for staying the night to which the lady suddenly smiled in a friendly manner. It didn't occur to her he spoke in her mind, she just wasn't that observant. "Not a problem at all."

Grey tapped her on the shoulder to let him stand up, and to this she gave him a quick glare. "Only if you promise not to run away...come hell or high water I will chase you and drag you straight back to me... " Her tone was friendly if not on the more obsessive side of life.

Then Alicia thanked her as well, but then mentioned something doing something early? Here Lilly looked genuinely confused. "Do what, where in the bathroom?" Then she heard Grey mention something that was music to her ears. "Get drunk?!? Ale? Ale!" She lept up with that grin from ear to ear, suddenly grasping Grey by the middle and hoisting the poor man up and over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Poor Grey. Flung around with ease by a overly strong, and now overly protective sword lady.

Willow the Hydra

She frowned for a moment, then became suspicious. Not a moment after, she smirked mischievously with eyes that just spoke 'you sly dog'. "And what are we doing at your house? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. In her mind, Forrest getting wasted was just funny, not something to be concerned about. On the other hand, she had no real idea of what was going on at all at this point, getting to her alcohol tolerance quite quickly. In all honesty, she took this as an invitation to go straight to bed, and she wanted to see how far he would go with this. Would she do it? She herself didn't know, but if he was offering... Though it wasn't like she couldn't get another guy, none of them captured her interest in particular, and this save her the hassle of doing any real work. She finished her second glass, though she didn't ask for another. That was enough for her, and she didn't want to get blackout drunk. When was that ever any fun? She then got up and pet Forrest, even scratching lightly underneath his chin. He was so cute when he was drunk! After that, she sat on Magnus' lap, putting am arm around his shoulders. "Don't think I don't know exactly what you want," she said, smiling and giggling.

Grey

Grey sighs slightly, wondering if he should just accept his fate here. True, being carried means that he doesn't have to walk, but it's somehow even more tiring than walking. To be honest, he's a little overwhelmed by Lil's interest in him and he's at a loss for what to do. A part of his mind is still telling him to leave, but that part is the minority now. He'll probably never fully get over his sadness. But maybe, with Lil's help, he just might learn how to move on from his guilt.

He briefly considers trying to wriggle his way out of Lil's grip but discards the idea as she's liable to think that he's attempting to leave again. He doesn't want to worry her at all if he can help it. Also, he doesn't know if he can since she's on alert for that and she's rather stronger than he is. She might inadvertently crush him. As such he decides to just ask her. He taps her on the shoulder again, "You mind setting me down? I can walk on my own."

As for Eyeface and Alicia, Grey's too preoccupied by being mamhandled by Lil to really pay much attention to them. He does catch Alicia's misconception but doesn't really care all that much, let her think what she wants to, doesn't really affect him.

Forrest the Drunk Bear PersonForrest giggled adoringly as Willow's fingers scratched his rough chin, the man being able to make out the word 'cute' in the jumbled mess of words that was only that bad because he was drunk. Then he saw the elf climb onto Magnus' lap, which would set off a tinge of confusion in his scattered brain. She hadn't ever seemed to consider him to be more than a friend or even an acquaintance, but now she was giving him affection...? Maybe it was a weird hydra thing.

Forrest looked back down at his ale with a blink, his body slowly wobbling from left to right. The chair underneath him almost felt like it was spinning in place... Grinning and shrugging with a bright blush, the large man lifted Magnus onto his lap, causing a sort of lap chain between friends. "Don't me leave out."

Lilly was quite capable, and prepared, to carry Grey all the way to a tavern on her shoulder, but when he taps her gently and asked to be put down she reluctantly agreed. She crouched down and rather softly placed him onto his feet before standing up once again.

"Alright...well I'm going to go for a hunt for clothes that actually fit... maybe brother has something that fits my frame better then these ones." Tugging around her chest for emphasis even though that really wasn't necessary.

With that she turned and disappeared into the bedroom, throwing Kylios's neatly stacked clothes all around his room, hunting for anything that might fit her wider hips and chest.

Eventually she simply gave up with an asperated sigh. She returned before all three with head bowed. Maybe Alicia or Eyeface had an idea she didn't think of? Or Grey even.

"My brother is so very small and thin, there isn't a single thing here that will fit properly..." She even half pouted here.

"Don't suppose anyone has some weird hoodoo voodoo magic to create clothes?" She really had no idea about the intricacies of magic.

Grey

After a bit of thinking Grey pulls off his coat and shirt and holds them out to Lil. He might not be a big man per say, but he was at least bigger than Kylios, so it'd probably be a little better than what she had on currently. As for magic, well... let's just say that wasn't his thing either.

Being that Grey was now shirtless those around could see that he was rather more muscular than he appeared previously, due to the fact that it's all lean muscle and that he has very low body fat. His tattoo can also be plainly seen from where it begins on his shoulder and continues to halfway between his elbow and wrist. The man himself doesn't seem to care about this fact though.

He wonders briefly if the clothes will even fit Lil and whether or not someone else might have had a better solution but quickly dismisses the thought. He's already taken his shirt and coat off and offered them so there was no point in thinking about it any harder than necessary. He doesn't especially want to think much at the moment, hence his desire to get drunk.

Lilly lifted her gaze from from ground when she heard no word from Eyeball or Fairygirl, but that's when her gaze drifted to Grey, arm outstretched with coat and shirt held out. She blinked for a long time, before her fingers slowly reached out for the items, but it was only as she pulled them to her chest might anyone have noticed she wasn't even staring at the clothes, but rather the man they had belonged to.

Her face was rather perplexed, it was hard to distinguish exactly what her emotion was because frankly not one emotion was dominated. She was intrigued as well as confused, he was much more muscular then his clothing led him to be, but then the slightest hit of red cheeks might have elluded to a completely different emotion she had not really experienced before.

She only stared for a moment longer before she forced her lips to move and speak, saying a hastened and breathless "thank you..." turning completely around like she were almost coy. Or shy. That alone was alarm bells because the lady had been neither. Ever. Not even as a child.

She coughed into her hand to gain some sort of semblence of control on the situation. Not dwardling on the thousands of questions her small mind was trying to plague her with, and decided to focus more on Action.

Still faced away she dumped the clothing on the armrest of the couch, before hooking her fingers on the hem of the tank top look-alike, rolling it up and over her back before sliding it off her arms. She threw it unceremoniously to the side before grasping his shirt and sliding that on, in much the same fashion only in reverse.

No body really saw anything other then her naked back, maybe a side boob from how she twisted. Apart from a few scars across her back and shoulders, her skin was rather pristine for a warrior.

Once she had it adjusted comfortably by tweaking and juggling her chest into place, she turned back around to face the three with a smile.

She grasped Grey's coat and held it back out, arm out-stretched. "The shirt should do fine, you can have the coat back if you like...it'll get cold without something on..." Avoiding looking lower then his eyes.

Magnus Cain

Magnus was a bit confused when Willow got in his lap. He was no rock and he wasn't born yesterday, you would of also of been blind to not see how hot she was drunk. But before he could think of doing anything about it Forest say's he wants to join in and picks them both up and set them in his lap. Magnus had been in some weird situations but this had definitely took the cake. To make matters worse since he was wasted like they were he could hear someone had commented on their display. Now he had no idea what he should do because it really looked like he might need to get them out of here as fast as possible before it moves from us siting on each others laps to someone wanting to fight us for causing a scene. "Hey guy's how we take this to my place, I tons of ale that we can drink there." Hopefully he believed he could convince them to do what he wanted so they don't encounter any problems.

@Salt Lord @Kazehana

Willow the Hydra

She giggled as Forrest lifted them into his lap, creating a weird totem pole of people sitting on others' laps. She was completely oblivious to the actions of others, especially Alicia's comment. With a big smile, she looked between the two, wondering how this night would pan out after all. "I wouldn't mind going, though I'm not sure I should be drinking any more," she said with a mischievous giggle. She decided to scratch Forrest's head since she was in the prime position to do it. It was almost like petting a pet, though he was much bigger than she and could speak english. So like, a pet with benefits.

Eyeface/Steve

The stranger turned to face Alicia. What would you like to do? Are you going with them? He tended to stay away from taverns in order to avoid encountering unsavory characters who always seemed to be determined to waste his time. The only reason he visited them were to find potential recruits, usually the person famed to be the strongest warrior around the city or town. So far he had found only one person who met his expectations - or in her case, far exceeded them - and was willing to serve him as well. But that was a long time ago. Everyone else had been disappointing. Some wanted to be hired as mercenaries. Some were just too dumb to comprehend his plans. Some thought he was a freak. Naturally, he had come to believe that he would have a better chance elsewhere.

But perhaps this was a chance for him to have a meaningful discussion with Alicia. That's what taverns were for other than drinking and beating people up for fun, after all.

Alicia Red

Alicia pouted when her words garnered no reaction, from any of them, whatsoever. Well it was funny to her! Jeez. Did none of them have a sense of humor? Or even get what she'd meant at all? Lilith seemed kinda dense, so it was possible she hadn't, but she expected Grey to. Steve might not of, but, Grey should of. He WAS a guy after all. Soon enough Grey had just oh so casually taken his shirt off in front of everyone, causing Alicia to blink and stare momentarily before looking away. To make matters worse even Lilith decided to change in front of them, but luckily Lilith had the common courtesy to turn around. Grey just casually stood there half naked, giving no fucks.

She was just about to ask if she could come with them when Steve asked if she was going to. "
I was just about to ask actually!" She replied before turning to Grey and Lilith. "Soooo! Can we come with you guys to the tavern? Assuming you want to go that is Steve?" She asked them.

Magnus Cain

Magnus was not waiting to see what Forest had to say about them leaving. He picked Willow, hopped off Forest's lap, left the money for the drinks, and dragged them out of that tavern without as much as thinking of stopping until he got home. He didn't live that far away from the tavern so in no time they were standing in front of his house, wait I'm sorry mansion. He knocked on the door and his butler answered the door letting them inside. On the inside there were painting on every wall of members of his family. There were shelves of books everywhere and above each one was a weapon of some kind. He didn't see much point right now in giving them a tour of his home, maybe after they sobered up but for right now he wanted to get Forest a bed to lie down in. Without saying a word or thinking he pulled them both to the guest room. Forest was so drunk that it took no real effort to get him to lay in the bed. "Great now I can relax," he said sitting down in the chair in the room trying to catch his breath.

Grey

Grey shows no real reaction to Lil changing in front of him, merely taking his coat back when offered and putting it back on. However, he doesn't bother to close it and is still very conspicuously bare-chested. He noticed Alicia's momentary stare, but he honestly couldn't care less. If people want to stare that's their business, just as long as they don't bother him it didn't matter much in his opinion.

When Alicia spoke up to ask about joining them in the tavern he shrugs, "Fine with me," he says before directing a questioning glance at Lil. It didn't really matter to him if they came or not as all he planned to do was drink a ton. They'd just better not be looking for any sort of entertainment from him, he was a boring drunk. He just kind of looked the same, with progressively reddening cheeks, until he passed out. This has only happened twice in his life, and neither were during high points of his life. This time was a bit different, even though the purpose of not thinking for a while was the same. And who knows, maybe he'll do something interesting this time.

Of course. I mean, I suppose I could stay with you a bit longer. He hoped that this tavern was not as bad as the one he had previously visited. Even if it were, perhaps he could entertain Alicia a little. He had a few tricks up his sleeve that he utilized to punish those who dared to bother him. Nothing was more satisfying than watching fools get what they deserve.

Sabrina

Sabrina sat down outside of the alchemist's shop, with some random piece of cloth she found on the ground to act as a sheet. She listened in on Lilith's a Grey's conversation and leaned back on the shop's wall. If only I were to find someone to love, and someone to love me back... her thoughts trailed off, a single tear dripping down from her pale cheek. She slowly sank into an uneasy slumber, the thoughts of her life whizzing by her minds eye as the moon rose and fell, giving way once more to the early morning sun. Sabrina groggily opened one eye, then opened the other. Urg...another damn day in this stupid world full of stupid people... She yawned and stretched her arms a little, hearing the chatter of 3 or 4 people inside the shop, then suddenly fell off a giant stack of boxes she was sleeping on that was right outside the alchemist's shop. "Ow! Owowowowowowowowowow!" she moaned, tightly grasping her head. After a couple agonizing seconds of pain and rolling around the ground, Sabrina got up and dizzily crashed through the shop's door. "Is my pain potion ready? Oi! Shop owner! Where are you?" she cried out inside the shop, eye watery and head woozy.

Lilly clapped her hands as the random squad of 4 agreed to all go to the pub. She honestly didn't mind, if there was ale to drink, she was more then there, it didn't even care who was there or what they did. She turned as if to head towards the door, but spun with a finger held high. "Just a sec...."

Then she was gone and reappeared a moment later with that huge 6' sword swung over her shoulder. "The armor I will forgo, but I'm not going anywhere without my sharp Titan baby..."

Then she made to lead the group out of the house when some woman barged inside demanding the pain potion. She realised it was the freaky lady from earlier who half transformed into a dragon. Lilly raised an eyebrow. "Tooooo be honest...I have no idea where my brother is...but ah...he definitely finished the potion before he left..." She strode up into the second level to his lab, peeling the extra strong pain potion from his equipment before coming back down and placing it on the table before her. "Here you go...you already paid for this didn't you?" Lilly was pretty unobservant so maybe she hadn't and she just didn't remember. Lilly wasn't the best sales assisant...

"If that's all you need I'm closing up shop...we're off to the tavern for a drink...or 10."

"I don't really remember much," She looks between the dwarf and the other people. "Barkeep 2 ales please!" she puts some coins on the counter and takes the two mugs when they are handed to her before downing them both quickly. She never was much of a drinker, surprising for a dwarf I know, but when she did she was definitely not a light weight at all. It just ran in her genes.

Kylios - Somewhere in Town

Kylios groaned as he rubbed at his eyes. He ached all over, and he was not even sure why. It was as if he had zero memory of what had gone on to cause him to be dying on what seemed to be open space with a lot of wood scattered around him. He frowned as he gazed upwards at the sky. Wait, how much time had passed? He had been quite sure it had been close to night when he was last conscious, and he had been indoors then dragged outdoors for some reason. This only confused him, and he could not help feeling a little bubble of panic down in his stomach. What had happened?

Slowly, he pushed himself to a sitting position, groaning a little as his head ached painfully. His right hand went up to his forehead, to rest on his hair, only to feel a extremely sharp twinge at the top of his head, where his hand had come into contact. He winced and yelped aloud, then pulled his hand back at eye level so he could look at it. His hand was covered in blood. The only thing he could guess was that probably something had fallen on him and knocked him unconscious. And it seemed that bits and pieces were coming back to him. He had been hiding in the alleyway behind a box of crates, and there had been a dragon, and lots of people all fighting it. Of course there was nothing he could do against a dragon, so he went off to hide. And it was probably a bit of debris that had fallen on him, due to the wake of the dragon's destruction.

He pushed himself to his feet, his hand resting against the wall, leaning heavily against the wall as he made his way to the front of the building. His jaw dropped as he saw the destruction the dragon had caused. Buildings, flattened, with barely anything standing, only a lone tavern standing, fortunately spared from the destruction. There was a smell of dust in the air; the air tasted of dust too, and it was windy; his ears rung as huge gusts of wind whipped at his thin frame. Fortunately, the dragon's destruction had been contained in that one district. And as it turned out, the building he had been leaning on? It was his shop. It had managed to remain intact after all! Relief flooded his frame, causing him to sag against the building. Now to find some HP potions that would cure the wound in his head.

Slowly, he made his way to the front of the shop, opened the door, and stepped in rather incautiously. His sister was there, along with the man she had been drinking with the day before, as well as the customer who had wanted him to make a potion for her. The last thing he heard was his sister saying she would close his shop for some drinking or something; he clamped down on something akin to annoyance. Really, just how much did she need to drink? His head hurt, and as was usually the case in less optimal circumstances, he was cranky.

"Not yet, I need something," he said, irritation coloring his voice as he made his way to where he usually stocked his HP potions, with the intention of downing a few of them until the ache in his head stopped at least.

Lilith Tennant

Lilly heard the chim of the front door to the Alchemist shop and felt a strong sense of dejuvu. People always seem to walk in the door whenever she was about to leave! She whirled with her usual half aggressive stance, sword hoisted on her shoulder and mouth agap as if to let it rip but her green eyes went huge as she realised it was her own brother! He spoke rather clearly despite the state he was in, blood pouring down his face from his head.

In a panic Lilly let the sword drop like a stone to the ground, the clanging probably not helping his headache which he would most definitly have from the depth of the wound, and denting the floorboards with the sheer weight of her fallen sword.

In an instant she was there beside him, snaking a hand around his underarm and middle, supporting him to stand and having to half crouch due to the height difference. She lifted her own fingers to thread into his hair, to put her palm to the gash, stemming the flow. Without her eyes leaving his for a moment, she called out in a serious and no nonense tone.

"Grey! Healing potion, Now!" Letting herself drop to her knees and pulling him gently with her so she could cradle him more.

Suddenly the girl was overcome with guilt. Her own little brother had been in pain, bleeding out, and it had never even occured to her to go and find him during the night! Her eyes felt wet even though she never cried...well...maybe she had a few times now...

Her voice cursed but held softly against his head, chin resting on the opposite side of his face to the wound. Fingers red with his blood.

"You should have come to the battle...I would have protected you...my little Lios..." Her voice breaking even as she said. "I'm so sorry..." She said barely above a whisper.

Grey

Grey was about to turn and leave for the inn when Kylios stumbled in through the door, bleeding from a head wound. Even before Lil tells him to, as she's supporting her brother, Grey quickly makes his way towards where he found the healing potions the last time he was here and grabs a few. He hurries back and hands one to Kylios.

He completely understands how Lil feels when she apologizes to her brother. The feeling that you should have done something differently. That you should have prevented it. The feeling that it's your fault. He always feels like that. So he understands. "But at the same time, he knows how dangerous a path it is to tread, especially because he still treads it and it will be a long time before he can even hope to possibly stop. As such he puts a hand on Lil's shoulder, "I know how you feel here. But your brother will be alright. Focus on that. Focus on the fact that everyone is alright and be more vigilant in the future. Don't go down the same path I did," he says quietly, audible only to her.
