Alicia Red

After flying around a while Alicia found all of nothing. Which was a good thing, but a very boring thing. Oh well. Doing one more quick loop around town juust incase she flew back towards the shop/house. Hopefully no one found anything, she could report the all clear, and they could get to the tavern. She might just go by herself if no one else wanted to go. Nonetheless she arrived back into the house a minute or two later only to see everyone looking like someone got murdered. She arched a brow and looked between the three of them. "
Sooo..I saw nothing. What about you three?" She asked them. "Guess Steve isn't back yet..meh. Though, you guys look like someone died. What happened?" She added.

Grey

"We are going to find this man and kill him," Grey says quietly in a seemingly flat and emotionless voice. However, something seems off about his tone as it inspires a sense of dread or danger, especially when coupled with the cold look in his eyes.

At that moment Alicia came flying back in. When she asks her question Grey turns, "There was a man on the roof who likely attacked Kylios. He retreated when I confronted him," he replies in the same emotionless tone, "Since we know who the enemy is why don't you go bring Steve back."

"Mmmm.... Willow what are you doing down there," giggled Magnus. He started running his hand up and down her body, which was kind of hard with Forest holding them so tight. " It's getting really hot in here." It was so hot to him that even in his drunken state he could pass out at any moment. As much as he liked what Willow was doing he tried to move but Forest was not fiving an inch. " Hey buddy can you loosen up a bit?"

Lilith Tennant

The tall lady glanced to floor, and in a strange gesture she wrapped her own arms around herself, grasping her biceps crossed over her chest. Her legs also tucked together, like somehow that would protect herself from the whirlwind of memories in her head. Suddenly she craved the closeness and protection her suit of armor always gave her. Her green eyes lifted when Alicia flew inside, her face still expressionless though her eyes looked haunted. "No...We will all go to Steve instead... A building with numerous public people is a far safer option then staying here. Despite our numbers it wouldn't be wise to stay here..."

Her voice broke only once as she said this all, and she lowered her gaze to the floor once more. She was certaintly far more fragile looking now then she had been earlier. She took a big shaking breath in, she needed to explain exactly what they were up against and why he was so dangerous.

"That man is called Lt Connel. He was head of the squadrons when I was training at the barracks. Despite us being the same age, he showed exceptional skill in combat. But he grew bored of swordsmanship and instead began to dabble in the arcane arts. He was ruthless and quickly had a following, if soldiers didn't follow him then they would be beaten. Even the higher stations seemed overwhelmed, almost fearful. He wanted power to the exclusion of all else.

He desperately sort the attention of my Master's tutorilage, but Master could see the all consuming need for power. He refused to train him and instead trained me. That didn't sit very well with him.
.."

She paused for a moment to let the others fill in the blanks she was unwilling to explain, before continuing. "He specialises in transmutation magic. He was foremidable 5 years ago, but one can only fathom how much more he has learnt since then."

@HuorSpinks @PeteTSs @skwablehawk @Mitchs98

Grey

Hearing her voice break as she explained who the man was Grey decided that he had to do something. He walks over to Lil and, acting on instinct, embraces her in a way that, he hopes, is comforting. While the look in his eyes appears to grow a bit warmer the coldness still lingers in the back. He doesn't know if what he's doing will help but he doesn't know what else to do. All he knows is that he has to do something.

Alicia nodded and was about to leave when Lilith said not to. She looked between the both of them and sighed, really wishing they'd just make up their minds. She agreed they'd be safer in the tavern, but, still. She just wanted them to hurry up. She felt bad for Lilith though, but standing around would solve nothing. Especially if the dude was a mage, he could just demolish the building and be done. Lilith soon went on to explain who the man was and how she knew him. The guy sounded like an ass, even before she mentioned or rather hinted at what he'd done. Or..rather..assumed everyone would know with an extremely subtle hint. Alicia was confused as to what she meant. Did he beat her up, or something? She failed to see how such a big, strong, woman could be beaten up by..anything really.

She looked more like the warrior type that'd beat you into the ground for looking at her funny. Grey seemed to understand, or at-least was just trying to comfort her, as he was soon hugging Lilith. Alicia herself opted to remain silent and just let them have their moment, she'd leave with them when they were ready.

Alisa Elien

@Sgt Gomez @skwablehawk

When Eyeface walked in Alisa blinked. The HELL was this thing now? It didn't look human, yet it did. Alisa wasn't quite sure what it was, but she knew it was multiple kinds of fucked up. She gently hit Elise on the shoulder to get her attention and pointed at Eyeface, "Hey Elise, the hell do you thinks' wrong with this guy?" She asked her with an amused grin on her face. She absolutely did not care if Eyeface heard or not, infact she hoped he did.

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonForrest giggled as he felt Willow grope around his crotch for what he interpreted was for no apparent reason and looked at the elf when Magnus mentioned her grabbing his stuff too. "Yeah, Willlllow... what're you doing that for...?" he'd ask, his grip loosening upon the other human's request. Maybe it was because he was holding them so tightly that he came close to crushing them? He didn't feel any heat himself, which was probably an effect of the ale they made him drink... well, even better! Not being able to feel discomfort and being loopy? Maybe he didn't need bubbles to entertain himself!

@Kazehana @Quinlan63

Willow the Hydra

She was nothing short of pleased that her plan had worked, making her much more comfortable. Happy to have gotten what she needed to not die of heatstroke, she let go of both of them, turning around to be back on her side. "Okay, that was fun. But we really should just... get some rest..." she said, hardly keeping her heavy eyelids open. She was directly between the two, but she supposed in a nice way. From this position, she could let Magnus spoon her while she nuzzled her face into Forrest's chest. Well that was just a win-win! She smiled, assuming that she somehow orchestrated this, but had no real idea. Oh well.

@Salt Lord @Quinlan63

Kylios Tennant - Alchemist Shop

Kylios remained on the floor, a rather stunned expression on his face as he processed some new information; namely that during the dragon attack, he had been knocked out by someone with malicious intent. He shivered and wrapped his arms around himself. Yet he knew full well that it was probably not due to anything he had done, but rather, who he knew; namely, he was Lilith's sibling and his attacker had something against her. He shivered again as she stated who the man was, and it apparently shook her enough to huddle herself smaller, something he was all to familiar with because that had been a position he had known very well, especially during his childhood.

A sense of his own helplessness washed over him, and he bowed his head, not daring to meet anyone's eyes, instinctively huddling into that same position; drawing his knees to himself while he wrapped his arms around them. He and his sister had grown so far apart, he realised that now. He had not been there during her most painful moments, and he was all the more aware of that now, especially as he watched Grey offer some physical comfort, while he remained watching. He was so helpless, and useless. All he had were his formulas. He had no fighting skills to speak of, so there was no way he could offer any form of protection, as much as he dearly wanted to.

He was not even sure whether he wanted to even leave the confines of his shop, but he knew he would have to, to at least reassure Lilith that he cared very much, and that he was extremely concerned about her. This would be a sacrifice he would have to swallow, and no matter how painful it felt, now that his sister was back he could not abandon her again. He could not live with himself if something else had happened to her. "If we're going," he said finally, his voice small, and forced. "Give me a moment to pack some potions for you all. I have some health and magical energy replenishing potions as well as some explosive potions. Perhaps they would be of some use." Because that was the only way he could be helpful.

Magnus Cain

Magnus woke up with his arms wrapped around Willow with a splitting headache. He got after moving forest arms out of the way and went out of the room to find something he might of had that could take care of a hangover. He didn't get that far before one of his servants came up to him and handed him some water and something else that seemed to help speed up the sobering process. "Perfect get some more of that and bring it to the guest room." Now with his head only moderately hurting he went to go freshen up before going to see how his friends were doing. The whole time and even as he finished washing up he could not remember much from the night before. Only that Willow and Forest got real drunk and wanted him to join them in bed. Well he was hoping nothing bad happened that he would not be able to explain. When he got back to the room the others looked like they might wake from their sleep.

@Salt Lord @Kazehana

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonForrest woke up with a massive headache, his arms around Willow's thin frame with Magnus nowhere to be found. He could remember drinking from the nasty ale, then things getting blurry and dizzy, then crawling into bed with his best of friends... maybe the human had already woken up? With a pained groan, the bear leaned on an elbow to shake Willow by the hip in an attempt to wake her up. "Willow... time to get up... drinking last night probably wasn't the best idea..." he spoke gently in a rugged voice, satisfied that his words weren't coming out in scrambles.

@Kazehana @Quinlan63

Willow the Hydra

Willow opened an irritable eye. "What a rude wake up call," she replied, though not too irked by his actions. She rubbed her eyes and stretched, taking in a deep breath as she prepared to get up. "I can't believe you guys did that to me; I'm still really hot!" she groaned, pushing herself lazily up with an arm. She sat for a moment, looking around with groggy eyes. After a few moments, she hopped straight out of bed. "Well, no use just sitting around. Time for more shenanigans," she declared, promptly walking right out of the room. On the way out, she took Magnus' water, just because. "Why thank you, sir. I'm going to go find the bathroom," she said, not even waiting for a response. At this point, she started humming, mainly because she usually did that before a shower. It got her in the mood to sit under a stream of hot water for a while. Willow showed no signs of ever having even touched a drink in her life, suggesting that she was not, in fact, hungover like the two pansies she left in the bedroom. After trekking down the long hallway, searching each door, she finally found the bathroom, which brought a wide smile to her face. Ahh, finally.

Closing the door behind her, she locked herself in so she could undress. To be free of her sweaty clothes: that was the life. She finished the water she randomly stole from Magnus because reasons, then turned on the water. This bathroom sure was fancy, but she'd seduced wealthier men in her lifetime. The only difference now was that she would get cleaner rather than dirtier. She scrunched her hair a few times in the mirror, looking at just how much it needed to be washed. Why didn't anyone mention how horrid it looked? She didn't see a brush in this bathroom, but she needed to find one soon after. After all, couldn't just leave it in knots! Remembering the running water, she hopped into the shower, humming as she cleaned herself in the steamy room.

Eyeface/Steve

Indeed, Eyeface did hear the girl, along with the many others who were making similar comments about him. But he did not bother to show it, as he was used to such treatment. He gazed down at his drink and wondered what it tasted like for the mortals. Then he remembered that he was supposed to report back to Lilith. He practically spilled the rest of the liquid down before getting up to leave.

Magnus wasn't sure why or how Willow seemed to be fine, but he didn't have time ask as she took his water and went off to find a shower to get in. Forest wasn't looking so good either from the looks of it. "Hey buddy how you doing? You want me to get you some water and something to help with your head?" Magnus was feeling better so he just wanted to make sure that he could help his friend. He could see how bad he was doing so he thought best not to wait for him to give him an answer. To be kind to his guest he personally walked all the way to the kitchen to get him some water in a glass. He had the glass but could not remember where the tablets for headache where, so he had one of the maids bring that to him. He went back to the room and handed the water and tablets to Forest, "Just put those in your mouth and swallow it with the water." Happy that his friend had what he was going to need he sat down to think on what they should do next, hopefully nothing that involves ale.

Lilith Tennant

After she explained the situation to the others she fell silent. There was nothing more she could say, or do, and she was feeling cold now. She had half a mind to disappear upstairs to grab her armor, but as usual she blinked as there was a warmth suddenly around her. Her brain took a full few seconds to catch up with what had happened and her gaze lifted now from the floor to peer to the side. As she did she found her nose once again buried into his hair. Grey's hair. She felt like she was just standing there for hours, not moving a muscle.

It was so strange...Even having a man so close to her, he posed no threat at all. His gestures and movements subtle and none threatening. Not hard, not painful. Lilly wasn't used to this at all and it showed on her face. Although she should have been terrified she wasn't. She felt safe. Her arms shook slightly before she lifted them up slowly and wrapped them around his back. Returning the gesture.

Again she stayed like this for a long time, before she glanced away to her brother, curled up sadly. She withdrew from Grey with a half smile, as if to say thank you, before she walked over to Kylios and retrieved her sword as she did. Here she put a hand on his shoulder. "What ever you need, you're more then welcome to grab...I'm just glad your Ok..." Reaching forward to kiss his forehead gently before she stood. With that she hoisted the sword up.

The group gathered whatever valuables they needed before they left without a word. Lilly was silent the whole trip her mind still a whirlwind of emotions. Her stance said she was strong but her eyes were still hazy. If they all stayed together they would be fine.

Once they had arrived at the tavern, Lilly made her way to a booth at the back, rather then her normal stool at the actual bar, she glanced down to Alicia. "Can you find Steve and tell him what happened?" Then the tavern owner almost jogged up to her with a pant. "M'lady! How many today?" Here Lilly frowned slightly. "Grab the whole Keg..." The owner blinked, noticing her coldness and was off. Lilly sat down right in the corner, resting her sword against the wall beside her, and in an arms reach.

A moment later he heaved before throwing an entire Keg onto the table, tap facing out and a handful of glasses. Wordlessly she filled three, one for Kylios, one for Grey and one for herself. "Waste not, want not..." Downing the whole thing.

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonForrest could only stare with a blank face as Willow stole the water straight from Magnus' hands and then walked off to do whatever elves did in giant houses. What confused him was how she seemed perfectly fine compared to he and the other guy of the group, the only thing weighing her down being grogginess... was there a word for a person like that?

The man managed a small smile when Magnus came over to ask how he was doing, but before he could get past his headache to answer, he was out of the room. Forrest would have muttered something mean if his human friend hadn't come back a few seconds later with a fancy glass of water and a white spec...? With a shrug, he followed Magnus' directions and tossed the pill into his mouth followed by a few gulps of water and swallowed. He didn't feel any immediate changes, the headache still having a negative effect on his poor, tiny, hungover brain. "Well that didn't help..."

"It's not suppose to do anything for you right now. Just give it some time and you will feel better." Magnus picked a book of his shelf to read while waiting for Willow to get back from the bathroom. He looked through the book reading every passage memorizing all that was written on the page. There wasn't really anything he was interested and that was never a good thing for him to be bored. He would read the book that he got from his mother's room in the mages guild building but he rather save that for later. Willow was really trying his patience for how long she was taking, "How long is she going to take in there?"

@Salt Lord @Kazehana

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonForrest rolled his eyes in discontentment when Magnus told him the small spec wouldn't work for a little while, so the man had to think of things other than his pain like how Willow seemed fine directly after waking up even when she had had so much ale the night before. Speaking of which... where was she?

A few minutes after Magnus had picked up his book with Forrest remaining silent, he sat up when the human asked how long the elf would take in there. What was 'in there' referring to? "Um, what do you mean 'in there'? Where is she?" he asked, the vibrations from his voice hurting his head even more... but the pain had gone down quite a bit in that span of silence, so maybe the pill really did work its magic.

Magnus had to think about his response to Forest. How can you explain what a bathroom is to someone who has lived in the woods there entire life. "Uh....how do I explain it." He hoped that he could tell Forrest something that he could understand. "It's a room where you go to get clean and to ....." Magnus was not gonna explain anymore then what he had said to Forest. It all just made him feel a little uncomfortable, "An that's all the bathroom is used for for. Willow must just be taking her time to in there."

@Salt Lord @Kazehana

Willow the Hydra

She scrubbed her hair with whatever crappy shampoo and conditioner he had. They were all wrong for her hair, and she honestly cringed when she used them. But it was better than nothing, or at least she supposed. For a rich guy, he really didn't have great bath utensils. Speaking of, she realized that he wouldn't have a razor, which also saddened her. Oh well, at least her legs weren't that stubby! Not like she could do anything about it anyway. Despite the fact that she had finished washing her hair, and there was literally nothing else she could do, she still spent a solid 10 minutes just sitting there contemplating life. Who doesn't do that?

Eventually, she turned off the water. After wringing her hair, she put it up in a towel, and put a towel around herself as well. Without a second thought, she opened the door to the bathroom, letting out quite a bit of steam into the hall as she did. Hot showers were the best. She contently walked her way back to the bedroom to rejoin the boys. When she walked in, she smiled, happy to great them and the new day. "I'm baaaack. Oh by the way, Magnus, do you have any clothes I could wear? Mine are quite dirty after all the sweat from last night," she said, frowning a bit. Then she shook it off and smiled some more, still happy to be here. That shower really woke her up, and she was ready for the day.

@Salt Lord @Quinlan63

Magnus Cain

Magnus was about to die when he saw Willow walk in with nothing but a towel. He almost didn't hear her request if there was anything that she could wear. "Umm.... let me think," he said rubbing his chin. "Oh yeah there should be something in my second closet in my room. My mom keeps giving me c;othes and jewelry for just in case I meet a women so you can just get something to wear from that." With all the studying and training he had to do in his young life it didn't leave much time to socialize with the fairer sex. So to help him later in life his Mother gave him plenty of things that women love, that way he would not have to try hard trying to figure out how to make them happy. He never thought when he was going to need it but this seemed like the best time for anyone to use them.

@Salt Lord @Kazehana

Forrest the Lovable Bear PersonForrest would take a moment to consider what Magnus said. Of course humans needed some sort of room to clean up in. After all, lakes weren't available to everyone even if the city was surrounded by woodland! But the question was, how did they do it? The houses obviously weren't big enough for pools worthy of washing in, so did that mean they 'cleaned' themselves in their own muck...? That didn't sound very pleasing. He would shudder and cringe after his moment of thought until he heard and saw Willow. A wall of thin steam followed after her, and the elf appeared completely spotless, her skin a squeaky white and fluffy-looking cloth wrapped around her hair and body. She was asking for clothes, so what she was wearing must have been considered not good enough. "Actually, Willow," he'd ask before she could get a chance to leave, "Could you explain how this whole bathroom thing works? Magnus says it's where people clean up, but I'm having a hard time understanding how in such a small pool. Is it the work of magic? Or bubbles?"

She nodded to Magnus, planning to stay here until he came back with something. She briefly thought he might come back with something horrendous, but decided against going with just because frankly, she was lazy. But then Forrest asked her about how a bathroom worked. Now she knew he was from the wild, but she didn't really think that he was that unsophisticated. She stared blankly at him for a few moments, blinking twice in the process. "Yeah let's go. I don't have a clue how to answer that," she said, turning her attention back to Magnus. Honestly, he would probably ask more questions after that, namely what towels were, and she didn't want to see where that went. After all, Forrest was known to be unpredictable at times, and she could wind up naked with Forrest casually inspecting the towels... and then her. "On we go," she said, shoving him out the door with a blush. She didn't know where they were going, but she knew the first step was to go into the hall.

Magnus was going to just tell Willow how to get his room but she was pushing him out to hallway so fast he couldn't open his mouth. So he did what she said and lead them to his room on the third floor and down to the emd of the hall. They got to the door of his room when he remembered that he didn't clean up so his thing would be scattered everywhere. But he there was no time to clean and there was no way he was going to pick something she might like to wear. He lead her inside to his room filled with books and sword scattered across the room stacked in piles. "Sorry about the mess, you can get something to wear in there," he said pointing to the second door to the write at the back of the room. "It's a walk in closet so you can change in there."
