I don't know you well enough to say all the time. hue. So sometimes will suffice. Now to follow Raze, Karas or revisit Era and be like "What up girl? So apparently you know things? Da faq?

Heh. Well I have a number of different kinds of responses depending on how you approach her. So think about it carefully.

How many responses will let her head stay on her shoulders?

All of them. Era's not the type to take heads off of shoulders. She has more interesting ways to deal with those who either tick her off or manage to amuse her.

@Lord Zanicus

It would be in Zarytto's best interest to speak to Korvaiis. There is much he has to be brought up to speed on. So when you have some time I suggest that course of action.

It happens. As a matter of fact, it happens before to me.

I'm writing the time skip as we speak guys (on a document on my desktop) and will be posting it later tonight since we're finishing the rescue bit, so just hang tight for a while longer. I'll be posting in a few hours so you have time to get in some last minute conversations and such if you feel it necessary.

If we don't get to what you were hoping for by the time my post goes up then don't worry about it too much. You can always write in what happened before reacting to the actual events of the post itself.

@Lord Zanicus, just so you know what you have at your disposal for the upcoming battle:

During the time skip Zarytto will have met with Era who will have unlocked his Zenkai. This does not increase his power all by itself. It only unlocks his ability to continually gain power after battles which push his body to some kind of physical limit. This means that his power won't increase until after this upcoming battle on the Outpost Planet, but even the absolute weakest enemy has a power level of 1,800 so Zarytto will be completely outmatched no matter what he does.

Since his power is still only in the 400's he's going to get his tail kicked no matter what so as long as it doesn't bother you to put him in a totally outclassed battle then have fun knocking him around the planet.

That said, he could have also at least begun to learn how to sense energy. But he won't have learned it in a week. Training for sensing energy takes several weeks to actually master and as of now Era is still the only one who's truly "mastered" its use. The others are proficient in its use but even they will have a few hiccups in using it until the next week or two have passed.

But Zarytto will have made strides. He could at least have learned how to sense his own power and begun piecing together how to relate it to other energy that he is sensing to get the gist of what the difference is. But locating exactly where a power is, exactly how big it is, and how far away it is will still be on his list of things to practice for the future when the time skip is over.

For everyone else... Well... Good luck!

@Zuka

We got some kickassery ahead of us!! If you need a refresher on how strong the enemies are it's on Page 20 of this OOC thread. Just search for "Outpost Planet" and you'll go right to it.

Till then guys! The time skip goes up in around the next 4 hours or so.

Okie dokie!

Post is up!! Time skip complete!!

One week gone by, one rejuvenation chamber at the ready slightly ahead of schedule, and one pissed off army of hundreds of thousands of enemy soldiers just waiting to tear us apart!

What could possibly go wrong?!

So, what do I do with Rakton and Co?

EDIT: Last I checked Rakton was still waiting on orders from Korvaiis.

Ha. Forgot about him.

Rakton will be with everyone else in cleanup duty and act as something of an insurance policy to make sure the weaker warriors make it out alive. But he's forbidden from taking to the front lines with Era, Sil, Nei, Kendra, and Urod. This is something of an unspoken third stage to his punishment, not being able to take the front lines. This basically guarantees he won't get any new power, and Korvaiis will have prevented Era or anyone else from helping him unlock the Zenkai yet either. Korvaiis will wait until he thinks he can trust Rakton before he allows something like that.

Speaking of power increases, there's something that I think we could do to improve the Zenkai system. The reason I'd assume that simple training increases power the way a Zenkai does is presumably because when in battle another ki user, the same searching for foreign ki still applies regardless of the injury.

By that logic, if you can gain power, however slight, from sparring without getting injured, then the same should apply for fighting in actual combat without being injured. Thus, there should be a certain level of "base" power increases after every major battle regardless of whether a proper Zenkai occurred, and every Saiyan should see a net improvement regardless of whether they got injured or not, so long as their character actually fought against an enemy. In fact, by this logic, you could very well bring back the "victory vs stronger enemies/weaker enemies" thing you nixed, because the player would experience a greater or lower quantity of foreign ki entering the body depending on the power level of the opponent and the amount of opponents.

@Anime King Kaleb

It's up to you, if you want to respond or I can just have it she did the girl thing and pushed him out of the room leaving the poor guy bewildered. Time skip to battle, and she'll be all sulky all week prior to it, just keeping herself in her room.

Also @Genon @Kyero @Lord Zanicus feel free to order Eve around just to mess with her, she won't tell anyone but Raze how she feels but the internal conflict will be interesting. And on a side note, she only gets the love for Dominance from her allies, so she will still wring some necks of the enemy on the battle field. Likewise, she is too focused to deal on it in battle to swoon over her comrades. It more just an outside battle character development. :)

That's true.

I'm going to think on the system a bit and likely make some tweaks to ensure that everything is without room for interpretation.

For now go ahead and post for battle and I'll get to work on adjusting the power system.

@Zuka

I had a reply ready but my phone messed up before I could send it so I have to type it again. It shouldn't take long though.

Well @Kyero already timeskipped to the battle. I would still like to see it though, so you can preface your post by saying this took place earlier, or add on a battle segment.

@Kyero , I don't mind at all! In fact, that's what I wanted Zarytto to get through with. Haha! And thanks for the useful tricks he'd come to learn over the journey.

@Zuka , Haha! Alright, I shall keep that in mind. I'll see if I can have Zarytto further spread the love with Eve!

I was hoping no one was getting bored with my character development. If there is nothing interesting going on I tend to fill the void with something xD

[QUOTE="Anime King Kaleb](Before the Battle)
Raze sighed In relief, when she let it slip.

"Thank (The equivalent of God) that it's nothing" Raze thought to himself.

Raze
smiled, " You had me worried. I thought it was serious. What you experience is something that approximately 20% of all Saiyans experience, called Commanditis (Didn't have a better name xD ). 95% of those who experience it either shake it off as a weird fetish or loses it before it's noticeable surprising that you didn't know this. Although it's technically an illness, it's nothing to worry about as it should go away as you get older. The average person loses it around this time, but there are rare exceptions who loses it later or even keeps it for their entire life time. Think of it this way, it's not an illness that you should worry about but it is something that defines you. Kind of like my eyes. I'm the first Saiyan in a century to get heterochromia but it doesn't really affect anything except what people see. " Raze smiled as he stood. He picked up his scouter, and switched it to the mirror he engineered into it. He looked at his eyes and was a little surprised to see that his pupil was black, but his iris was a swirl of orange, green, and yellow, and for once in his entire life, both of his eyes were the same color, or should I say colors. As this first started when he unlocked the secret to breaking past his limits, he felt that that was related to the eye color changes.

Commanditis!! Oh my god my sides, I'm laughing so hard

I have changed the mechanics surrounding the Power Increases from both battle and through training which you can now see in the "Mechanics" page.

Damage done to the body is now the primary factor in how much power we gain, and the expectations of what it means to train have been spelled out very clearly in black and white for you.

So do please read up on them as soon as possible and keep doing what you're doing. I'm enjoying the reading thus far IC! :D

So how do we calculate exactly what our multiplier would be within the PIR
