I type this calmly, but with a great sense of sadness and disappointment that it's come to this...


Despite my above post describing the difference between story and character based input and my asking for ideas on the former, I now see no point in continuing.


I am thus making the difficult decision to close the RP before things get any worse between us OOC. I'd like to preserve at least some of the good vibes and good times we've shared without creating too much animosity.


I could provide further reasons for this decision, but there's no point. Any reasons I provide now carry meaning only to me at this point, as the rest of you are likely now in a frame of mind where you'd misinterpret what I have to say and get upset by it. Rather than upset anyone any further, I'm going to back down.


But I'd like to say as well that this RP was my only reason for remaining on this site. Now that I'm closing it, it's time to say "goodbye" as I will not be posting or RPing on this site any longer. I have come to despise a good option of the user base for being silent, flaky, and overall unimaginative people (You all being exceptions of course).


So thank you all for sticking with the RP this far, but it's time for you all to move on and focus on your other more exciting and more enjoyable RP endeavors.


Perhaps you'll read a private and personalized story about this RP's basic concept in an online blog or fan fiction story someday. I am a writer on fanfiction.net after all and my username there is very similar to my username here("kyero" being part of it), so at the very least this may not be the end of Era and Sil. They're always going to be two mismatched friends in a universe which will forever keep them close yet so far away from one another. Such is their importance to me as characters no matter the story or the world I craft around them.


So thank you all once again for your involvement thus far, and good luck with your future RP endeavors. With all the sincerity I have, I wish you all the best of luck and happy role-playing!

I'm sorry, as I feel like somehow this is my fault.


I guess all I can say is your world and characters are still amazing, but it's just not suited to a group thread such as this. You are splitting plot and character developement when in actual fact, on a websight where everyone makes individual's characters, character development is more important (at least to me). Otherwise why would we put the effort in to create and roleplay them?


I still want to see what happens to Era and Sil and Korvaiis! So you should link your fanfiction here so we can keep up! Also I don't mind if you borrow my Eve character if it gives you some more story dynamic as long as I get to read it!

Well...it's been fun, and while I was still eager to see the conclusion, I acknowledge that it was extremely unlikely anyway. It's a sad truth that almost everything in the fanfiction community dies before it ends. I see you're not going to be involved on this site anymore, but I do take it you have other venues to roleplay? Other usual haunts? I'd love to stalk you roleplay with you on some of your other sites. Any others that use XenForo?

My fanfiction.net username is "Kyero Di' Nelma"


Right now there's only one subject I've done fan fictions on, and it's a bit of an acquired taste, but my next planned story involves Era and Sil. Whether it turns out to be DBZ style like this or some other kind of fantasy setting remains to be determined, but it'll happen not too far in the near future.


Sadly Genon I do not role-play anywhere else. This site was it. I have no further role-play outlets anymore and thus am no longer a role-player. The reason being is because I don't trust any other sites anymore due to less than stellar writing standards from the user bases and/or limited allowed role-play scenarios/settings.


All I have left now is my story telling on fanfiction.net, and while my writing has slowed there it's still my favorite outlet and is likely where my ideas are best suited anyway. As Zuka pointed out with this RP the concept would likely have been better as a story than a group RP. So I'll stick to writing and see how things work.


Again, thank you all for the time we shared and I hope to entertain further as time goes on if you manage to find and read the new story about Era and Sil on fanfiction.net when and if it becomes a thing sometime in the near future!

*Co-GM : Everyone who has been a part of this RP before this post and wants to continue it will be one of the GM's of the RP. We will all be in charge of story development, interactions, and all that stuff @Kyero did.


With everyone giving their ideas of how the RP will continue, everyone will get the oppurtunity to push the story forward.

Although @Kyero will be missed as well as his brilliant ideas, I'd be willing to co-GM* with anyone else who wants to continue roleplaying on this RP. Although, we wouldn't be able to continue with whatever story @Kyero was thinking of, we could solve the biggest problem which was one person advancing the story by everyone inputting ideas on what happens next.


If anyone does want to continue, the first thing we should talk about is @Kyero

On the one hand, I want to continue this, on the other hand, I have had a very interesting idea for a potential Dragon Ball fanon arc for a long time. I spoke to @Kyero about it a few months ago to see if he wanted to pick it up (I feel uncomfortable GM'ing), and he said that while he didn't have time, it was a cool idea. I'll PM it to you.

I read up on it and it is a very interesting concept, and furthermore I am interested in it. We should probably talk more about it though, specifically the Demon Gene, what exactly does it do to the body and such

Really, I think we shouldn't because its intimidating. We want the roleplay to feel like its inviting for people interested.
