    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: Feb 6

    Gender: Male

    Height: 5'10"

    Personality Profile:

Connor, on the surface, likes no one. Perhaps this is because not many like him. That being said, he has few friends, and even those friends are more of acquaintances than anything else. And a most of those people just use him as a form of protection, hoping that no one would mess with them because they're associated with Connor. He is not blind, and knows who these people are, which causes him to become even more anti-social. It has reached the point to where only a few tolerate him, though he normally comes and goes as he pleases within that group.

The one place he seems truly at ease is in the gym training. His expression never changes from the near scowl that sits almost permanently on is face. But his stance opens up and his body relaxes slightly when he is in that gym. He also seems to have a close relationship with the gym's owner and his coach by default. Though they are not related in the slightest, Connor sees this man, Stanley Williams, as the closest thing to a dad he's got.

Personality Profile: Whoever can understand why Luka unsettles people would be the candidate for a Nobel prize. Truthfully there's nothing 'wrong' with Luka. Just 'off'. He may look at you for just a few seconds too long. He may end his sentences in a way that just sounds 'weird'. Perhaps the strange dreamy look in his eye simply unsettles you. The various psychological tests through out his childhood had little to say. He didn't fit into any sort of particular mental illness or disability. He's simply..strange. Off. Though if one were to look past the odd quirks and traits, they'd find he's quite kind and caring, if a bit self-depreciating.

  • Column Citizen Dossier: Amelia H. Brighton
    bj8Otxj.jpg

    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: May 13th

    Gender: Female

    Height: 5'4"

A lot of things can be said about Amelia but none more true than her capacity to care for just about everything and everyone. She has a big heart that she's willing to open to anyone- that combined with her outgoing friendly nature has Amelia finding herself at the center of her social circles, never without a friend by her side. Her warm energy attracts people to her while her open honesty and kindness keeps them around. Being extremely close to her family has taught her that taking care of those close to her is the most important thing in life. As a result Amelia values her close relationships with people very highly and works hard to keep them intact even at the detriment to herself. Ever since she was a young child Amelia has been committing selfless acts for those around her. One couldn't put it past her to give up something in order for others to have what they need. She's not one for material things (except for her beloved portable music player), especially things she doesn't need so it makes it easier for her to sacrifice. Amelia is very in tune with her conscious and lets it guide her every action. Amelia' optimism is unparalleled along with her ability to always appear relaxed and at ease. She refuses to let herself be bogged down by the weight of the world, preferring to look on the positive side of things. She's incredibly kind and generous as mentioned before however that does not mean she can be easily taken advantage of. Amelia can be quite sharp when she wants to be and she's got a good head on her shoulders. She's a quick thinker, light on her feet and can squirrel her way out of a hairy situation if need be.

While Amelia may seem like the perfect individual she has her difficulties. She tends to be unorganized and though she does not lack confidence she tends to get in her own head and is her own biggest critic. While she may be responsible for her age, it is a wonder she can get anything done with her serious habit of procrastinating. Losing things has become second nature to her and no matter how hard she tries it's impossible to swim through the clutter around her. Many seem to think that she has a short attention span as she tends to suddenly go quiet after talking a mile a minute, but that's only because her mind is racing with thousands of thoughts. It gets pretty scrambled in there at times. Amelia can also be a bit naive as she so desperately wants to see the best in people. This desire has lead her to trust people she shouldn't but she's capable of learning from her mistakes. Somewhat foolishly, Amelia believes that people are not inherently evil and that anyone can change.

  • Column Citizen Dossier: Morgan Fairway
    Dormant Hearts.png

    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: October 27th

    Gender: Male

    Height: 5'6''

    Personality Profile:

'Aloof' would perhaps be the first word that comes to mind when talking about Morgan. He seems to have trouble acting his age - the way he conducts himself could be likened to the nobility of history long past or high society. The sort of airs that he puts on in front of others only serves to further isolate him from his peers and perhaps adds to the illusion of haughtiness that others seem to expect of him. Quiet and observant, Morgan is the sort of person who prefers to go second - getting a good grasp on the situation and the tools at hand beats an early charge forward in his mind.

Morgan is a natural sadist - even his most positive interactions with others involve teasing or ribbing. Perhaps more so if he's genuinely fond of a person. Conversely, the depths of his pettiness and vitriol seem to be endless for those who have earned his ire. It's fortunate that no one's driven him to that extent. He's also someone who deeply values hard work and effort. Responsibility is a burden that he'll nonetheless shoulder if it falls on him, even if said responsibility. That being said - he absolutely abhors physical activity. Between his short stature and his natural inclination for sitting in front of a screen all day, Morgan is terrifyingly out of shape. Unlike others, Morgan doesn't look forward to receiving a bicycle. It's simply something he'll use maybe once or twice before stowing it away and continuing with his life.

Rules are a necessary function of society - though, Morgan's someone willing to subvert or even outright break them in the pursuit of knowledge. With great knowledge comes great boredom - it's been posited that Morgan's more rebellious tendencies stem from an attempt to break up the monotony. More often than not, he'll also assume and plan for the worst first - a pessimist through and through.

  • COLUMN CITIZEN DOSSIER: OTTO RENDER
    Kazami.Yuuji.full.1934840.jpg

    AGE: 15

    BIRTHDATE: December 7th

    GENDER: Male

    HEIGHT: 6’4

    PERSONALITY PROFILE:

Personality is not a word that applies to Otto. The 15 year old wears a seemingly permanent blank expression on his features at all times and speaks in a tone that can be interpreted as a monotone that generally borders on disinterest. He rarely speaks anyway, but when he does the words are clipped and to the point yet somehow respectful. The only signs that he actually has any feelings are the incredibly faint smiles he displays on rare occasions and the narrowing of his eyes when concentrated or irritated. He may have more subtle expressions, but it’s always hard to tell. Everyone that knows him would describe him as detached or distant, like an observer of events rather than one living through them. His hands are almost always shoved within the pockets of his pants.

As expected, Otto has a general aversion to people and prefers to stay alone. Most people wouldn’t want to be in his company anyway, since efforts to befriend him are generally met with a disinterested stare and a polite request to go away and stop disturbing him. However, this does not mean that he is incapable of talking. He seems to have a large interest in history and art, and an especially large interest in the Husks. He can be found wandering the streets, gazing towards the Husks and other restricted areas.

Otto is, in every sense of the word, an enigma.

Column Citizen Dossier: Mochi Ren

"If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you haven't tried before!"
Public Information
Age:
15

Date Of Birth:
June 3rd: 06/03/67

Gender:
Female

Height:
5'2

Personality Profile:
Mochi is commonly referred to by her peers and those who barely know of her as irrational and impulsive, with this being a common staple of her personality it is advised that those who call themselves her friends proceed with caution. Throughout observation and interaction her self-discipline seems to be effective, but based strictly on the larger scale of who she is we have deemed her to be a "Difficult person to deal with" for most. The prior statement is not assisted by the fact that she is known for holding a rebellious streak and pressing the bounds of authority.

While in most observations this would be a dangerous personality to allow in society we have determined that she could be an asset. Aside from this her capabilities to lie are superb for a child of that age, giving the possibility that she could be a "snake". Or in professional terms, she may be capable of lying with a high rate of success. As such we have determined that if her current role doesn't work out we will attempt to make her into a politician.

By an understanding of productivity however she is on the higher ends of things, being very capable of completing anything from complex jobs to medial tasks. On the end of teamwork... there's room to be improved on, in small groups she is shown to have higher success rates, within large groups her productivity is still high but suffers due to the addition of extra members.

However this does seem to stem from some reason. For example it seems that she accepts negative attention in a way that seems unreasonably typical, not in the matter that it's a usual response. But she takes that kind of treatment the same way that one would take a conversation, as though it's expected as a response. When nearby her sister she seems to be a bit more cautious, possibly even showing a tamer side. Though when asked about her sister she seemed to have a defensive fire flare to life in a sudden moment of passion. The girl herself seems to be complex and could need phsycological rehabilitation, however this is a baseless claim.
Familial + Personal Information
Belongings:
The 'Mochi' Jacket
Clothing (Obviously)
A gas-mask
A bag of gummy bears

Equipment:
Boxcutter: Be careful, she will cut you.
Phone
Can(s) of yellow Spray-paint
A Black Satchel

Skills:
Quick Reflexes-
Though she isn't a fighter, she has dodged enough broom-sticks to have heightened reflexes. That gives her an advantage in the kitchen more than anything, seeing as she's less likely to drop something or if she does she can react to it quicker.

Cooking-
If you can't stand the sweet get out of the kitchen. But in the case of Mochi, she can cook almost anything. Whether it be over an open flame or within a stove, her specialties do pertain to sweets however. This is due to her training in the kitchen mainly through her mother and a woman in the bakery nearby.

Parental Colony Roles:
Maternal- Seamstress
Paternal- Repairman

Recommended Colony Role:
Based on tests, it has been determined that the ideal role for Mochi is: Confectioner
Private Information

Autobiography Loading

I don't remember my birth all that well... mom says I came out screaming but dad always argues saying I was quiet. Though dad could always have been mistaking me for my twin, either way I don't care. I was alive. Or as alive as anyone else can be, I remember I had be- The teacher just said this wasn't for a grade. Why am I writing it if I didn't f***ing need to!?
End Of Autobiography

Mochi is the first child of Sarah and Antoine Ren, she does have one twin-sister. Given that she and her sister were the only two children it would be assumed that they had to pay attention to them. However both seemed far more occupied with their roles and productivity that they paid little attention to their children. The attention she gained from her parents was done typically around meals or when they had something to praise/discipline her over. There were observations that she gained her rebelliousness around the age of ten, this is likely due to an increase in the workloads of her mother and father.

Throughout her whole life though there has been one constant that never seemed to go away, nor did she wish for it to. This was of course her twin sister Hachi. Throughout their childhood it has been noted that they were practically inseparable, when Mochi's rebellious phases started she was doted on with negative attention strictly. Many even began to see her as a risk to have around and yet the sister stuck near to her. It has been seen that Mochi has attempted to escape to outside the border leaving conversations with her sister, which leads to the possibility that she is trying to obtain something beyond it.

Schooling has never been and issue with Mochi, as she seems to maintain high-marks despite showing little interest to class itself. Over the past five years there have been accounts of her attempting to move into off-limits areas, when apprehended by an adult she managed to lie her way out of any punishments despite her intentions. No accounts of her actually moving into these zones are known but it is indeed possible. There have of course been some times where she was punished heavily for wandering too far from home.

In the same stretch of five years, she is known to have "tagged" a few buildings. This was however cleaned and dismissed without further issues.

    Age:
    15

    Date of Birth:
    31st October

    Gender:
    Female

    Height:
    170 cm

    Personality Profile:

Cain, as she’s more likely known, is…for the lack of a better word, very memorable. She despises the humdrum of life, the constance of the world, the dullness of…everything, really. A thrillseeker through and through, Cain does what she wants, what she can, just because she wants to and she can. This bleeds into her interactions with others. She is extremely outspoken, and politeness can go take a hike, and if she sees something she doesn’t like, she will make sure that her opinion is heard. While certainly rude, she probably doesn’t care much. She is notably the happiest when she’s bantering with friends, trading verbal jabs. She never usually means what she says when around friends, and can reel in her bullshit, but is known to be fairly vicious and takes very low blows just to get an upper hand in an argument.

She seems to have glimpses of solemnity, and has more than one occasion slipped into a very pensive mood, as if ruminating things over. She is quick to recover from these episodes, however, and returns to her usual joking manner. It is noted that Cain is oftentimes calculative, and takes several steps for prevention of anything that might jeopardise her.

While she isn’t a good stickler of rules she deems as restricting, she seems to have something against actual crimes and cannot tolerate others being tormented, in a surprising amount of hypocrisy.

She gets along pretty well with people, so long as they can tolerate her abrasive behaviour, and while she can be initially very off-putting, when she does warm up to someone, her vocabulary tends to suddenly dip out of the annoying area and get less aggressive, and she is more like to reel herself in around them. It seems to be an unconscious effort on her part. With friends, she is reminiscent of a ‘bro’, for the lack of a better word, and uses extensive vocabulary like ‘dude’ to refer to closer acquaintances. She can be colloquially considered ‘pretty damn nice’ in these instances.

    Column Citizen Dossier: Jeremy Kerr

    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: 13/07

    Gender: Male

    Height: 5'5"

    Personality Profile:

A boy with a maidenly look about him, who mostly lives up to first impressions.

Unlike most of his peers, Jeremy is a bright, bubbly young man who's most interested in spending his time 'trying his hardest' and 'having no regrets'. He keeps a healthy balance between work and play, hanging out with friends in most his free time and pursuing his hobbies in the rest of it. He's the kind of person who gets uncomfortable when he has to eat alone, instigates doing as many things as a group as he can, and can hardly go a day without talking to every person he considers a friend.

If you were to describe him nicely, it'd be as a 'pleasant, amiable young man' and if you were to describe him harshly, it'd be as a 'clingy child who lacks independence'. He's not the sort of person who can lead, despite his extroverted personality, and only ever gets around to doing new things when somebody else is encouraging him, or he thinks it'd be helpful to someone else.

Name: Hexa Kira Hezzin

57a4e5ca42342640687ebff9822dd6ff.jpg

Age: 15

Date of Birth: October 13th

Gender: Female

Height: 5'3

Personality Profile:
Hexa has one hell of a mouth on her and will say anything almost anything she feels like saying. Most would describe her as having an abrasive personality. She has a cheeky attitude even around the adults. However if you can shift through it all and be patient you will find some kind moments. If you can earn her friendship you will find someone who will stick by you always. Hexa can even be very comforting when her friends are upset. A lot of the time she can be very temperamental.

Constantly inquisitive you will see her tinkering or exploring happily most of the time. Hates her farther's and stepmother's guts since the wedding. Very secretive over her work and room getting nervous and embarrassed if anyone happens to see it or she has to show it. Another thing that makes her very uncomfortable and shy is girls talking about boys and dating. It is also well known that the girl is a trouble maker and loves causing all sorts of mischief. Gets very geeky and excited if you talk computers, games, manga or comics.

Belongings:
  • MP3 player
  • An entire closet filled with teenage angst and a lot of black.
  • Twenty pairs of boots.
  • Three pairs of glasses.
  • A cabinet filled with tools.
  • Salvaged record player and records.
  • Two sets of headphones.
  • Lots of comics and manga.
  • Loads of video games.
  • Three heavy duty padlocks for her room.
  • Five small padlocks for her desk draws.
  • Lots of notebooks.
  • 1950s style bicycle.
  • Hand pulled wagon.
Equipment:

  • One personally customised laptop with satchel.
  • Slingshot.
  • Lock pick set.
  • Pocket tool kit.

Skills:
Computing- Hexa has a knack for anything to do with computers. She is able to make or program one from scratch.
Mechanic- When her mother was still around she taught Hexa a few basic things though nothing more complex. Since then she hasn't made much progress.
Artistic- Not amazing but definitely above average.
Lock picking- Completely self taught she uses this skill to search through old buildings for neat stuff.

Parental Colony Roles:
Birth Mother: (Former Mechanic)(Exiled)
Stepmother: (Makes and designs clothing)
Birth Farther: (Maintains the solar panels and wind turbines)

Recommended Colony Role:
Tested extremely well in computing. Has been recommended for either a programming role or a computer technician job.

History:
Hexa had been a happy and polite girl until the age of six. That's when her mother was forced to leave the city because of her radical views. She couldn't understand why when she said they should go with mom her farther said no. A little Hexa threw a tantrum when her dad wouldn't let her go with mother. Hexa didn't even get to say goodbye. Hell she didn't even know mother had been in trouble. After that day she became rather sad and angry. But her dad was there to comfort her.

Unfortunately the close relationship Hexa had with her father ended when he got remarried. Hexa had known the woman who her dad had married but she thought she was a friend until a month before the wedding. The nine year old girl couldn't understand and hated them both. After the wedding she would eat in her room and speak as little as possible to both of them. It was at this point she trashed all her girly bright clothes. All she had left was a lot of black, dark purple and a bit of red clothing. When her farther asked why Hexa said she was morning the loss of her whole family.

Things haven't gotten any better since her stepmother Lizzy had a baby when Hexa was ten. Lizzy also had another baby when Hexa was twelve. At this point people would notice her walking the area around the colony. She made a slingshot so she could ping some cans and blow off steam. Eventually even this was boring so she would search through some of the old buildings and vehicles. Most of the time it was junk, but sometimes she found something genuinely good. When asked where she went Hexa replies that she was just wondering around and doesn't remember. Probably says this because she may not be strictly allowed where she went or was unsure if she was allowed.

At age thirteen she but the locks on her desk draws to keep certain things private from her parents and some stuff she is just self conscious about people seeing. She told her parents it was filled with embarrassing stuff she didn't want people to see and valuables. It certainly wasn't untrue but it wasn't the whole truth. At age thirteen she put the padlocks on her door so her parents couldn't snoop in her room. On the inside she had just two normal bolt locks that she could use inside her room. However she had to also had to do all the cleaning in her room which was a small price to pay. Also since thirteen no one else has been allowed in her room however she thinks her parents and little sisters have peaked when she goes to use the bathroom.

Personality Profile: Ludwig’s default face seems to be indifferent, almost going so far as annoyed or unamused. Still, that doesn't mean Ludwig is emotionally dead(he can be very intimidating very fast), it’s just he tends to be very serious, especially when it comes to his work. Always focus on the tasks at hand, Ludwig grew up with a strong sense of self-discipline and professionalism thanks to mainly his mother. Because of this Ludwig is often hard on himself, always striving to improve, although not crushingly so. Ludwig can work well in a group or alone, fine with following someone else instruction or taking the lead and forming some of his own. Ludwig is capable of remaining calm and level headed in the most pressing of situations in order to find a solution out of the current predicament.

That doesn't mean he doesn’t raise his voice, fact is it’s not uncommon to hear Ludwig's thundering voice from across the hanger, especially when he’s yelling at people for doing something idiotic. Still, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t take sense to explain why it’s idiotic, if it means they wouldn’t do it again. However, if someone is persistent about being annoying, he'll simple just ignore them. Another instance where Ludwig could be heard raising his voice is when he's adrenaline kicks in in instances such as football. Other times, Ludwig can be different, although still not always amused, his facial expression does gets softer. Ludwig is still a normal teenager, bidding his time reading books, watching TV, on the internet or even on social media.

As much as he doesn't show it Ludwig really cares for people, even loves people, it's just he has a hard time trying to show it. Ludwig can be one hell of a wingman (He’s seen enough reality television and soap operas to know what to do). And if anyone needs an ear for listening, Ludwig will be more than willing to make time to listen and give, albeit honest, feedback. Overall, Ludwig appears to be rather intimidating, but once you get to know, he ain’t so bad.

    Personality Profile:

“Uhm...I’m supposed to write about myself?...Well, I guess I’m really carefree individual, but if you’ve ever seen me play games, that would be a different story. I’m also a huge nerd if you can’t tell. I literally learned Japanese and Korean just so that I can read manhwa and watch anime without translations. Totally worth it. On that note, I’m fascinated by giant mechs fighting giant monsters. Something straight out of all those mecha anime. Oh, yeah, the important part! I’m very religious, nothing will change that. I find it quite easy for me to make friends, just talk about videogames you like and that opens up all kinds of doors.

Don't expect me to be too friendly before my first cup of coffee though. I'm pretty sure I broke someone's arm over my coffee a year ago or something. The same thing goes for my consoles and saves. If you touch them, I'll tear both of your arms off and beat you to death with them... Try me. I think it's like that whole uncanny valley kind of thing: I'm really nice to people I barely or sorta know and the people closest to me, but if they are just casual friends, I'm a bit mean at times. Never fully intentionally."

  • Column Citizen Dossier: IDA BRIDGET SOMMERS
    dh4a.png

    Age: 15
    Date of Birth: 11/04
    Gender: Female
    Height: 5'3"

    Personality Profile:

Ida is a soft-spoken individual, commonly excluded from conversations not because of introversion, but because many people must strain to hear her clearly. She is not reserved nor shy, but rather cautious. Ida often spends an exceedingly long time thinking about what to say before speaking, often being left behind in group conversations. She is very contemplative, and only instinctual when psychologically distraught.

Due to her quiet nature, acquaintances and friends are few and far between. Her best friend was her older sister, Ana, who always knew how to make her laugh. Last year, Ana was arrested and imprisoned on several theft and trespassing charges -- which Ida vehemently refuses to talk about. Even though she had lost her best friend and only sibling, Ida seemed almost unaffected. Only those closest to her would notice the dark bags that began to form under her eyes from lost sleep. Those handful who can sincerely call her a friend know her as trustworthy and dependent, though Ida knows when she's being taken advantage of.

Ida has a handful of fears and insecurities, foremost of which is being gossiped about. She detests the idea of people talking behind her back, and is often paranoid that people are doing just that. This paranoia only compounded after her sister was detained by Column officials. Ida also has an existential fear of being forgotten. Secretly, she wishes she could make an impact somewhere, on someone, that would last even after she's dead and buried. Sometimes, Ida wonders if Ana always tried to rope her into such lofty antics to share some of the limelight of Ana's vandal behavior.

She is deliberate and calculated in everything she does, from schoolwork to sewing. If given instructions beforehand, she repeats aforementioned instructions over and over again in her head as she does a task to ensure she doesn't make a mistake. For example, every morning Ida makes her bed the same exact way after her mother explained to her when she was young, "this is how a bed should look." Ida is a perfectionist and planner, finding sporadic and unplanned happenings annoying because she doesn't have time to prepare for them physically or mentally.

    Personality Profile:

Alex is a friendly young man that's not often seen with a frown. While he isn't overly cheery, he faces life with a positive outlook. He enjoys being around other people and does well in social settings, never having problems when it comes to meeting new people.

Able to stay calm and maintain a level head even during stressful situations, he doesn't bend easily under pressure. This goes in hand with his rather high level of patience. Whether faced with something as simple as waiting for an appointment, or dealing with even the most troublesome people, Alex doesn't lose his cool and give in to feelings of anger. In some cases, he even willingly places himself in those stress-inducing situations if he believes that he can be of some use. Although, even someone like him does have a limit to how much he can take. Even if he's usually a pretty nice guy, Alex isn't afraid to get pushy with people if things are important, becoming more assertive and unyielding. Traits like this have made him suited to leadership positions and looking after large groups.

Along with his friendly disposition, Alex is always looking for a way to help others, but is careful not to overstep his boundaries. If possible, he'll try his best to help others, regardless of whether their problems are minor or major. However, he's not very receptive to the opposite.

For as much as he enjoys helping others, Alex doesn't reveal much about himself or his feelings. He doesn't let others to see what's eating away at him and would rather deal with things on his own, not wanting to inconvenience people. He doesn't like to acknowledge those feelings, choosing to immediately move past them and keep up the attitude that people are accustomed to. He's much more concerned with others than himself, even to what some may consider a concerning degree. He doesn't think much of himself and doesn't hesitate to put other people above what's in his best interest. He only wants people to be happy and keep things as they are.

Due to experiences in his past, he has developed issues with loneliness. There's a hidden fear of being abandoned and losing everything. For that reason, he can be unreceptive to things that threaten to leave him in that position. He doesn't want to lose the things he loves, including people. Because of that's he can be untrusting and wary at times.

Being as amicable as he is, even Alex has people that he just can't get along with. The first person that comes to mind is his father. The boy has an uncharacteristic dislike of him and can be quite cold in his presence. Even if public opinion may be different, his bitterness has led him to reject anything positive said about his father. He doesn't like to acknowledge him, only ever using him as a model of someone he shouldn't become.

Despite having a great deal of contempt for his father, Alex has followed in his footsteps by developing a keen interest in machines and anything tech-related. It's easy to see the excitement in his eyes when he's trying to figure out how something works. While he enjoys being around other people and fears being alone, Alex is always most comfortable when tinkering with something in a quiet space. Even so, he has no interest in any career related to what he loves.

No matter how much he detests his father, he'll always be compared to the man by other adults. He rejects all of that and doesn't want to be seen as similar to him. Those feelings have even led to a dislike of the same career path after seeing what it can do to people. It has contributed to his late desire to see the world beyond Column. He can often be seen looking into the distance, wanting to travel far away.

Column Citizen Dossier:
Tasha Kaysen

Theme:

Age:
15

Date of Birth:
25th September

Gender:
Female

Height:
5'4

Personality Profile:
Tasha is a rather distant and contemplative individual who is driven by scientific curiosity. Her inquisitive and obsessive nature tends to rub others the wrong way, and she can come across as rather cruel and mean if her personal space is interfered with. Tasha pursues her goals with a obsessive and restrained mania - more than willing to put others in harm's way if it will somehow serve her cause. She is far more comfortable around technology than humans, and is regarded as something of a savant with a exceptional memory and understanding of robotics and mathematics that far exceeds what she should be capable of for her age. Despite this, she struggles with reading human emotions and rarely understands -
or cares - about the feelings of others: this can cause her some agitation, as she can become anxious and uncomfortable around such things. More often than not, Tasha is more than happy to lock herself away in her room.

Brought up in a highly demanding environment by a father who saw her as his intellectual progeny, rather than his daughter - Tasha's ambition is as her fathers: to resurrect Humanity to it's former glory, by any means necessary. As a reflection of this, she is especially interested in old technology - especially the Husks and Automation facilities. Her youth has so far been an effective means of cover for her lofty ideals, which would no doubt lead her into trouble with the government. She has been seeking an excuse to visit Husk Valley for a long time - and finally it seems the opportunity has presented itself.

Tasha suffers from frequent, chronic headaches that leave her irritable.

Belongings:
A Datapad which Tasha guards with her life. She never allows others to look at it, but it is generally believed she uses it to catalogue her constant stream of thoughts and experiments. She also has a laptop in her room.

Several sets of clothing, all identical. Though she does have several different coloured ties.

Her room is piled high with books of all shapes and various subjects ranging from physics to natural history. She owns no books on fiction.

Tool Kit - Screwdriver, forceps, penknife.

She happens to have a classic N64 tucked away in her room, placed on a shelf by itself. It is unknown where she got it from, or if she's ever used it.

Equipment:
A black backpack - used to carry her belongings during trips and expeditions. Rather heavy.

Skills:

Mechanic - Tasha loves machines of all shapes and sizes, and knows most of them back to front. Those she doesn’t, she can quickly learn - providing she has the relevant information on hand.
Programmer - A talented coder, Tasha’s knack for mathematics and retention has naturally given her an edge with most known operating systems.
Researcher - Tasha spends almost all her free time reading books, and has hoarded quite a bit of interesting knowledge. She is very adept at finding information if it is required of her.

Brain over brawn: While Tasha’s intellect is impressive, she lacks much in the way of physical skills. She is not strong, and has little athletic ability. She is in no way a fighter, and has not been tested in such an environment.

Parental Colony Roles:
Tasha’s mother died when she was very young, but worked with her Father in the Research and Development division. Tasha’s relationship with her father is more one of strict teacher and student, rather than father and daughter. Her father - Dr Richard Kaysen - is a well known and highly respected researcher.

Recommended Colony Role:
Tasha is already practically slated to join her father in R&D when she comes of age. The exemplary results from her examination came as little to surprise. Tasha displayed no emotion at the recommendation, she never believed she was being evaluated for anything else.

Personal History:
The product of an incredibly strict upbringing, perfectionism was demanded of Tasha even at a young age. She was constantly tested by her father with academic tests that might have broken the minds of others, leaving her emotionally stunted but intellectually exceptional as a result. Her childhood was one of isolation - never allowed to form any meaningful friendships or relationships with others; her life was one of research and study. Something which has now become her one true passion at the expense of all else.

One day she dreams of outperforming her own father, and perhaps even usher Humanity on to its next step.

    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: February 14th

    Gender: Male

    Height: 5'9

    Personality Profile:

First impressions of Blair can usually be summed up in two words. 'A stuck up bitch' and that's true, to an extent. Due to his background, wealth and general intolerance for social situations, Blair has a tendency to be blunt and straight to the point. He, a lot of the time, just doesn't want to interact with new people and thus will try to end the conversation as quickly as possible even if it means he comes off as rude or stuck up. The only exception of this is children. On rare occasions, Blair can be rather pleasant with new people but this usually only happens when he is in a very good mood. He keeps a very tight lock on his emotions and doesn't show anything unless he wants or is forced to and can be very serious if need be. If need be, Blair can be very charismatic.
Around people he cares for or around children, Blair is very kind and talkative and in some cases be hyperactive and playful to the point of almost being annoying. This is due to never having friends growing up and being incredibly socially awkward so when he finally becomes comfortable around others his true personality shines through. He is rather protective of his friends and doesn't hesitate to help them regardless of the situation and can become angry when they are threatened.
Blair doesn't usually lose his temper very easily and when he does this leads to him becoming incredibly snarky and rude. He holds grudges for a very long time and can be incredibly vindictive. He, however, rarely retaliates violently unless extremely enraged.
Blair also has a strong love for music and performing arts, writing music and choreographing dances in his free time.

    Date of Birth: May 11

    Gender: Male

    Height: 5' 9

    Personality Profile:

Most people's first impression of Sebastian would lead them to believe that he is a very lazy, and unorganized boy, and for the most part this would be true. The reason for him being this way is because he has become bored with his everyday life, with the same events happening day in day out. With his family not being the most well off financially it means that what little free time that he does have he spends helping his family with whatever work he is able to get. In order to keep this work that his family relies on he has adopted an attitude of keeping his head down and keeping to himself in order not to cause any problems with those around him. When conflict does arise he quickly backs down in most cases, with the exception being when the argument begins to turn violent. Fighting is one of the ways that Seb likes to break his routine if only for a small while, although he enjoys to fight he is terrible at it and his only redeeming feature being that he is able to take beatings larger than most could handle. There is only one other activity that Seb enjoys, and that is baking. This is something he keeps hidden even from people that he would consider his friends, just so that he has one pleasure that he doesn't have to share.

    Personality Profile:

Hachi is a cheerful and good hearted girl, her smile often and best described as pure and full of laughter. Throughout the colony she's known as a free spirited and playful girl, well behaved un like her sister even with rather mediocre grades, never acting up or stepping out of line she's commonly thought of as the opposite of Mochi, a quiet girl with only good intentions as far as the eye can see. Or at least that's what it may appear on the outside, within Hachi is a tad different than how others see, far more burdened and sad than she often lets on, emotions hidden far beneath walls and feelings cast aside for what she believes is best, always trying her hardest no matter what to make others happy but never really herself. It's a sort of self selfishness in a strange way, always trying to compete with her sister, the one she admires more than anything- how she can rebel so easily and yet still keep up her grades like it's nothing, to draw so much attention to herself and push the line so far. Beside Mochi, how could she ever hope to be good enough, to get her parents attention or be anything besides a kind girl in the background- an yet her heart yearns for so much more.

    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: May 5

    Gender: Female

    Height: 5'5"

    Personality Profile:

Umi is considered by many people to be an oddball within the colony. Although moderately attentive at school, while out of it she spends little time socializing with others. She is often found skirting the edges of the colony with her eyes wandering into the outlands or sitting on one of the highest places she can get to with one of her several instruments in hand playing musical pieces from times long past. She sees the world as this adventurous place and finds herself having little interest in the goings on of the colony, though realizing that she must fall within the parameters set forth by the colony to live.

Umi will often find "unusual" solutions to problems though it's considered resourceful by many. Taking bits and pieces of "junk" around her and appropriating them into something useful for her or the problem at hand. For instance, her desk and music stand at home were made from scraps of metal and wire that she collected during one of her "outings" as she calls them. Umi's manner of speaking is also strange as to having eaten food and stating "that tasted purple." Her wild imagination and nearly unrelenting to desire to see more than what the colony has to offer brought her to the point of being a social outcast.

Umi's strange behavior though does come with some naturally good points. Her creativity and resourcefulness makes her useful at problem solving. And her forcefulness in helping the injured (aka helping them despite their refusal or negative reaction to her presence), has painted her as a weird saint that looks out for those in the town. She often is seen barefoot moving about the town because she "likes the feel of the dirt."

    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: June 21

    Gender: Female

    Height: 5'3"

    Personality Profile:
"Idiot" is the most common phrase used to describe her.

Tessa is actually a pretty smart person. She's observant, resourceful, a master of improvisation, and is naturally a curious person. However, all of her other personality traits seem to overshadow her actual intelligence. For one, she's loud, and never seems to shut up. She's the type of person to rant about the uses of peanut butter for two hours straight, completely unprovoked. She'll even get into the ethics of peanut butter to provide some background information, despite the fact that no one asked.

She can also be a bit of an airhead at times. If you give her an important task, chances are she'll zone out within five minutes of being given the job. The same goes for most conversations that require her to listen more than speak. This doesn't mean that she'll completely ignore everything that you have to say on purpose. But if the topic that you're discussing is anything short of extremely interesting, Tessa will most likely only listen to about half of the lecture. She needs to be actively engaged in something at all times, otherwise, her subconscious will find a way to keep her entertained.

Tessa is also kind of the type to not frequently ask for help. This doesn't have to do with pride, as she has none. No, this quirk usually relates to either her not wanting to get in the way, or her thinking that things would just be easier and more entertaining if she handled the situation herself. AKA: She acts that she could easily kick someone else's butt, but in reality, juicebox she can barely stick a straw thjuice box.

She is also a bit of an explorer. Like most other kids in the colony, she has a habit of occupying places such as Husk Valley. However, it is very rare that she takes part in games with others her age. Despite her loud personality, Tessa prefers to be alone a lot of the time; especially around the Husks. Her moments of free time mainly center around exploring the mechanical bodies or reading about them in the local libraries. At this point in her life, she had just about memorized every part of the stationary mechs that she could find.

  • Column Citizen Dossier: Camble Bitters

    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: August 12th

    Gender: Male

    Height: 5'7"

    Personality Profile:

Camble's a walking contradiction, but even a description like that doesn't seem to fully grasp it. Despite having a blatantly disheartening upbringing he's never once been seen without a bright smile. Despite having a thin, relatively weak-looking build, he seems determined to put himself in harm's way. Even then he claims his bouts of thrill-seeking are centered entirely around getting steak, but the boy never seems to actually eat this particular meat more than any other meal. Yet somehow this specific desire for steak leads him to a number of odd stunts that often lead him to injury after injury.

Even though he's almost constantly seen in some stage of recovery due to the various injuries he's sustained, Camble always wears a smirk of some sort. In fact, not many people can remember ever seeing him without a smile of some kind. This feeds into the fact that while many seem to enjoy hanging out with him purely by how entertaining his schemes can be at times, he's not exactly close friends with many people. His consistently humored demeanor leaves him incapable of expressing extensive sympathy. Most of the time other people his age are either bored enough to get involved with his ploys or curious enough to see what he's up to, because Camble's actually pretty creative with how he gets into trouble.

Despite his reputation, Camble's got a talent for downplaying himself, often using his injuries and faulty schemes to make himself seem as incompetent and unworthy of consideration as possible. Ironically enough, its this air of non-threatening joviality that leads most to get involved with his ploys. He can be extremely social when need be, though is just as capable of slipping into the background due to his particularly nondescript appearance. He's notably pleased when others come up with dangerous schemes, and can often be found supporting their endeavors whenever he's not setting up his own.

  • Column Citizen Dossier: Martin Baumer
    full

    Age: 15

    Date of Birth: July 9th

    Gender: Male

    Height: 5’11

    Personality Profile:

Many in the community of Column would describe Martin as a polite, well-spoken young man. In conversation with acquaintances or colleagues he seeks to be cordial and attentive. If one is facing a dilemma and requires assistance, he would offer a hand so long as it doesn’t excessively inconvenience himself. In these interactions though there remains a sense of formality, this demeanour being akin to a well-rehearsed armour. Once the requirements of good social manners are met and it dwindles to idle chatter, he tends to withdraw from the discussion.

When the boy is comfortable and in his element however, he becomes an outspoken, opinionated person, who isn’t afraid to challenge the words of others if he detects a flaw in their logic. In these moments, he emits an air of confidence (bordering on arrogance) which is otherwise absent in his interactions with others. Capable of quickly breaking down his opponent's arguments whilst countering them with his own thought-out statements, his intellect and quick-wit are one of the few things he takes genuine pride in. And when a worthy challenge presents itself, a competitive spark lights up in the student that is otherwise unseen by his peers.

In contrast to these facets of his character, internally Martin is an acutely self-conscious and insecure person. The young man is extremely pessimistic when it comes to his worth as a member of the colony, and has a deep-rooted desire to be useful to others, though he is unswayed when told that he already is a valued individual by the community. Any praise or recognition of his accomplishments often falls on deaf ears, instead directing his attention on what could have been better. Objectively he recognizes that this is likely a distorted view of himself versus an accurate portrayal, but getting himself to truly believe that has proven to be far easier said than done.

Though it’s not something he easily expresses, he does genuinely care for his family and the people whom he’s come to trust. He makes a point of nurturing these connections whenever possible, and strives to be an honest, supportive friend to them. In their company, he also tends to loosen up a bit, though even here a degree of restraint is shown. On the other hand, people whom he deems disreputable scum earn his utter disdain and is prone to holding a wicked grudge.
