Divine Rising - OOC

If everyone else says you should be one then just go ahead. I will watch then silently.

Oh! My apologies Dawn!!! I hadn't seen anyone else had been interest in Freya till star mentioned it D:!

I think Stars idea for writing to Silver is a good idea though ^^ since there are more than one person interested in a character.

All righty, I'll start working on my CS now for my Poseidon character. :3

All righty then, after much pondering I've decided to go with Hermes, if nobody's claimed that yet! ovo Ya no I'll play a non-god honestly nothing fits well enough 8'D

edit: Elizabeth sounds adorbs, but like she gets into dangerous situations constantly. I feel bad for her parents! They must worry so much xD

She's certainly not an easy child to handle. ^^'

OK, as of now we have 8 gods taken including the 3 I just approved and Crooked's character. I really think this is enough so I will ask people to please consider making human characters instead of applying for gods, you still get powers so there won't be much difference most of the time.

In other news, I changed Eliza's age to 17, since I realize that it'd be really hard for a 12 year old to pretend to be a 17 year old guy.

I also wasn't sure if there was an age range we were aiming for? Like, we have 12 year old urchin kid and now my 17 year old military-wannabe, but your two characters are way older? >.<

I was gonna play a 50-year-old if Nevi didn't wanna play younger... 8'D So we're going for Steampunk AU Auxlang and Nevina, not Faraday and Thyme. Still gonna make someone older than everyone else. :V (32..?)

@SilverFlight

Already decided not to apply for a god bruh. It messes up muh OCs to have such an outrageous past life sorta thing and I'm feeling too lazy to come up with a new one right now. I think you'll like the one I'm using tho!

I mean, those who really wanted to choose gods still can, I make a request, not an order ^^

I was actually going to have Tobias at 19, I can change it if you like.

It might be nice just because we're making younger characters and I know mine, for one, will likely not feel comfortable around a bunch of older adults lol.

Aww. But that's your character, not you yourself, right? I'd like to keep my character at an age where it makes sense for them to have a certain amount of history/career.

I'm not saying everyone has to be in the same age range. It's just that if we have a child, a teenager and then a bunch of adults then the interaction might not be too smoothly between everyone, especially when the two younger ones have trouble getting along with other people. There's a huge difference in interactions between really young people and older people. Silver is, no matter what, keeping an older character so feel free to make older characters yourself. I just prefer a younger age since it gives my character years of character development lol. If she were older, there'd be little room for development for her.

I, for one, love huge variations in characters. The awkward and tense situations between them is fun to watch for me, this is especially true when people create foil characters for each other. I'm the kind of person that would purposely make a character that would have every characteristic someone else's character hates for the sake of in character drama and simply seeing what happens lol. It's boring if everyone gets along. In character, that is.

I like this one. Can we keep it?

I didn't mean for us to all be alike. Never mind, my words are clearly not explaining what I want to properly. >.<

I think understood what you meant. I'm assuming that you were afraid that if there are only a few young child characters that they would become isolated from the group and are forced to start their own plot, no?

Sort of, yeah. I just saw that only Bolts and I had made younger characters and they both have histories of not getting along with adult figures to some extent. I just didn't want them both to be avoiding interaction with the group the entire time because they don't trust the adults. It'd be like another character of mine in another RP, where she was impossible to get along with for most of the RP and it got both boring and repetitive after a while. The problem with that is that I don't want to get out of character, but I want to see that trust problem being resolved or at least repaired a bit earlier on so my character isn't impossible to get along with for too long. If that's to happen for a young character hating adults, then there, like, needs to be one or two more around her age so she maybe learns from them to trust adults better, yeah?
