Appearance: Tall, skinny, wavy blonde hair. Her eyes used to be dark brown, but now they're an unnatural orange. A cute button nose, small pink lips. She's pretty adorable.


Personality: A ball of fire. Fiesty, fiery, bright, shining. Sometimes, explosive. Daring. She'll pick you up and burn you out. Incredibly energetic, but with a temper like no other. She isn't afraid to go where other's don't want to go, and she'll light up any room you'll put her in. If you make her mad she'll burst up in flames, but at the same time it'll be hard to put her out if you let her get too far. At times, there can be something gentle about her. Harmless. But you'd be dead wrong to think of her as harmless. Olive isn't afraid to stand up for herself, what, and who she believes in. Though I'm not saying she's the most loyal person you meet, if you gain her trust she'll do her best to do right by her. Know her intentions are always good and her heart is always in the right place even when it seems it isn't.


It's hard to imagine this girl being afraid of anything. 'Cept snakes. Why don't they have any legs? Eugh.


Affect: Olive can't linger in one place too long, or else she might set it aflame. If she gets too angry her hair might even become a flame itself. With time, Olive will gain control, able to set things aflame at will. Her eyes have turned bright orange, and her skin is hot to the touch.


Backstory: Olive grew up with her mom, a single mother after having left an abusive relationship and losing what could have been Olive's baby brother. There was a lot of moving around, a lot of sleeping in shelters, sometimes going hungry or cold. Olive's mom wouldn't give up, being the hard worker that she always was, it wasn't long before her mom had a stable job and they could finally settle down.


She met her best friend in 3rd grade, Amy, and they were inseparable for a long time. But when the time came to apply for colleges, Amy was accepted to some fancy-pants science-y college halfway across the states, and while they do stay in touch, it's not the same. Olive had applied to many colleges, wanting to go for a degree in music, and even though she was accepted and given partial scholarships, they just couldn't afford it. So Olive is at a community college, working as many jobs as she can possibly take on in hopes of transferring to another school.


She never expected her life to change so drastically.


Extra/Trivia: Plays the cello, piano, and ukulele, as well as sings. Has a knack for arts and crafts. Loves to decorate. Her favorite color is orange.

Appearance: Standing an meek 5'10", Nathan doesn't exactly strike fear or intimidation into anyone. He's got some developed and visible muscle on his body. He has short cropped brown hair with a clean shaven face.


Personality: The first that comes to mind when people think of Nathan is a sloth. Nathan thrives, loves, laziness. To him, there is no greater way than to spend a day doing absolutely nothing, even when he has so many things he could be doing. A honed procrastinator, you can trust that Nathan will not do anything he has to do until the last possible second it needs to be done. Generally unmotivated, Nathan has yet to find any passion in his life. Most of the activities he is involved in he's only doing because his parents forced him while he was younger to at least do something instead of sitting on the recliner all day.


Laziness aside though, Nathan is a bright, young kid with a sharp mind. At times, he can a be a bit off putting with his bluntness. He's not one to mince words. Nathan's going to shoot straight with you and tell it like it is. Some people like that. Others find it rude and off putting. Nathan doesn't really care either way. Over the years, he's molded a tough, "I don't care" outer-shell in response to the bullying he received as a younger kid. He's someone who could be said is lacking in compassion. When someone at his school died from drug overdose, he wasn't really sad the kid died, it was the kid's own dumb fault for doing drugs in the first place, and the parents' fault for not keeping a better eye on their kid when half the school knew the kid was on drugs.


Effects: The changes that Nathan will experience are two fold.


First, Nathan will begin to change genders from that of a male to a female. This will take time to change, and the first thing to grow out rapidly will be his hair. In the end, Nathan will end up a complete female biologically.


Second, Nathan's hair is alive. Well, not really, but it sure can seem like that. Nathan has the ability to manipulate his hair, using it much like a monkey uses their tail as a fifth limb. To Nathan, using his hair is no different than using her arm. Each strand of hair can act like its own appendage. He can easily perform complex tasks with his hair from grabbing ledges to sewing clothes. Even more insane things are possible, for example, he can snap her hair forward like a whip or rotate it like a fan. He has no nerve endings in his hair, but he can feel sensations on all parts of his hair mentally.


His hair is strong. To be specific, each strand of his hair has more tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, and shear resistance than a iron wire of the same thickness. Nathan can instantly grow his hair up to twelve feet in length. He can also, at will, shrink it down to a smaller size, all the way down to bald if he so desired. It takes literally seconds for this change to happen.


The longer Nathan's hair grows the weaker his overall hair goes. The difference from 6 feet in length to 12 feet in length is a loss of 20% strength overall. A whole head of his hair can lift about 3,300 pounds. Part of his hair must be used to anchor herself as a brace so lifting heavy objects does not break his neck or make him fall over.

• Hair Manipulation (Prehensile Hair): Nathan can control the individual strands of hair on his head like individual appendages or coalesce them together, performing a wide variety of feats and tasks.
  
• Hair Extension: Nathan's hair can rapidly shrink or grow in length, up to 12 feet. This happens in seconds.
  
• Hair Strength: Nathan's hair is super strong, capable of lifting up to 3,300 pounds with all his hair at once. His hair can also be used defensively, even stopping bullets.

Appearance Description:

Izumi is a short(5'2), young man with spiky silver hair and pale skin. He has heterochromic eyes (differently colored eyes), one is a chocolate brown (although appears red in the sunlight) and the other is a gentle gray. The skinny male has a star shaped birthmark on his lower back region and burn marks on his right leg. He has a feminine frame and small build, able to cross-dress as a woman if ever needed.


His skin is soft and sensitive, him getting cuts hurts quite a bit more then it would for most people. However, his clumsy manner makes him easily bruise and often get cut.

Side Effects: Izumi's little 'side effect' only gives him the ability to seduce people and animals using his voice. In a way he might be similar to a Siren, but he can only use his voice when singing or humming, and he has to be careful in doing so. When using the ability it can cause a lot of problems for the child such as passing out from the waste of energy and paralyzation.

He never let's his depression or sad feelings show, just so that he doesn't put others through any trouble. He hates embarrassing himself and making the people around him uncomfortable.

Bennie Norden

Bennie is a short boy. He stands at only 5' after a childhood accident stunted his growth. Other than that, he looks like a typical nineteen year old... What's visible of him that is. Bennie often hides away the best that he can. His messy, black hair hangs over his eyes that can barely be distinguished as being blue. They had been brown, but changed as his body did. He often bundles up, his body almost always cold. His skin has gotten even paler as he changed. His biggest change in appearance is the one that he has the hardest time hiding and even accepting. When Bennie accidentally ingested the bit of star dust, he changed quickly over night. Bennie sprouted a pair of ears and a tail, resembling a husky.

Bennie had always been a quiet child. He grew up in a loving home with a single father. His father had him homeschooled since they lived far from the nearest town. He spent most of his time out in the large backyard, in a tree house his father had built for him. The two lived together until a bit after Bennie's sixteenth birthday, when his father passed away. Bennie started to spend more and more time out side, eventually starting to live alone in the tree house. Since he was outside so often, he was easily susceptible as the bits of star fell to the ground. He continues to live alone in the tree house, since his extra appendages are simply too hard to hide. He grows his own foods and catches what meat he needs.

? Appearance: Puppy is a large, Great Pyrenees with a very gentle disposition. He is all white, with large paws that seem to resemble a little bear. Bennie first thought he was a bit weird looking and soul-less seeming, but he quickly grew on him. He has big dark eyes and a large nose, and is covered in nice cuddly fur. He's got a big tail that's almost always wagging.

?Puppy wandered into the yard one day, when he was only a few months old. Bennie didn't exactly want to keep him, so he just called him Puppy. Since he didn't expect the dog or the name to stick around, he didn't care to call him anything more. The persistent pup refused to leave and grew on Bennie. By the time he officially became Bennie's dog, the name had stuck.

Personality: Yana is shy around people she doesn't know, but she is quick to open up to them once she feels comfortable. She lacks a lot of skills necessary to live on her own, but is enthusiastic about learning new things. She loves plants and has somewhat of a green thumb when it comes to growing them. Yana doesn't express her anger very often. It's a product of always living in the shadows. She sometimes has trouble determining the worth of her wants needs and feelings as opposed to others.


Background: Yana was born from an affair between her mother and a married man. Her mother passed away giving birth to her and she was raised by her well-off father and his wife. As an illegitimate child Yana was forced to remain a secret from society. She was homeschooled while her siblings attended the best private schools and always to be in hiding when there were guests in the house. Her older brother and sister get along with her well enough, but her stepmother hates the ground she walks on and while her father has taken as much responsibility as he's willing to take from her, he wants nothing more to do with her. Still, they tried to give her things that they felt would appease her. Along with any material things she could possibly want, they gave her her own outdoor garden. This was where she was the night she was affected by the falling stars

Charlie can control things via telekinesis. Depending on the state of his emotions, he can lift objects 5x his weight and fly--or blow them up.

Charlie has a stern-cut appearance. He stands firm and tall, towering over most. His frame is solid, yet lean. He dresses more practically than stylishly, opting for well-worn jeans over tight and colorful materials. Since the incident, slight changes have been made to his appearance. His eyes are now a deep, flowing magenta that almost seems to be alive. The bleached part of his hair returned to his natural color and resists chemical alteration. And his skin has become like marble, becoming a tad bit harder and opaquely pallid.

How are you supposed to act when you can't remember exactly who you are? He only knows his name because it was on his ID in personal belongings. The floor he was on had exploded mysteriously, leaving him to be the only survivor--the ICU ward.


So far, Charlie has taken things slowly, trying to immerse himself into the land of the living. He has an odd understanding of things, knowing how things are supposed to work out but questioning them nonetheless. He's not usually the happiest grape on the vine, but he isn't outwardly sullen either. He's just trying to find his way on the coil. This is a sort of second chance for him to live and the main thing he feels is a compelling need not to waste it.

Background


Maverick grew up living with his older brother after his father abandoned him at the age of 10. his mother died giving birth to him and his father constantly blames him for her death. he was often would be left to fend for himself and given no praise. he was given the basically to live, but nothing else that should of came with living with his dad. He was constantly told that he was never meant to be born and that everyone hates him. No matter what he achieved and accomplished, he father would as tell him he was failure. When he turned 7 his father began to get physically abusive with him. He began to watch old school martial arts movies to escape from his life.


that was until his older brother came and saved him from the abusive life. His brother moved him into his apartment with him and he began a new life. He was enrolled into a private school and that’s where he learned to love reading and poetry. He was also put into many martial arts club to protect himself in case his father’s ever came back to get him. Also, because he told his brother it was one of his favorite things to watch.


the 10 years spent with his father made maverick a people pleasure, constantly looking for approval and trying to make everyone happy. it was to make up for the fact that he was never given approve as a child. he was often taken advantage of by his class-mate and even adult because of this. As time progressed his brother began to notice the danger and damage these personality traits had with his brother. he paid for maverick to attend therapy sessions. as time progressed, he slowly began to heal his scars and becomes his true-self. although he sometimes regresses back to his old habitats


Personality


he is one of the most cheerful guys you can meet, and can usually be found making jokes with others and making people smile. He can be quick to get angry, but despite his temper, he has a tendency to be laid back when he isn't concerned, he is also very friendly and loyal. He is trained in martial arts and knows how to use both a sword and spear. he has issues with people not liking him and can get very sensitive to that. He is what is known as a people pleasure, and likes to make sure he makes the people around him happy. He also can be considered a very charming guy, but is counteracted by the anger and people pleasing attitude he has sometimes. He finds it hard to make friends and get close to people. Always feel like the 2nd choice when it comes to being friends with people.
