Yuri held her protectively as he watched the room. He knew from experience that poltergeist would try to tease the living, or trick them somehow. He knew better then to fall to those tricks.

The woman smiled happily as she slept. Then, the lights started flickering...

Yuri looked up and he saw the lights flicker. "You can try your best to scare me foolish spirit. I will keep my promise with this isn't woman to help her and purge her house of you and whatever spirits remain here."

Scratching came from the walls and the couch began to violently shake, waking the woman up. She moved closer to Yuri and squeezed her eyes shut.

Sylvester held Yui close to him. He didn't seemed to be fazed by the scene right now. "How about you show yourself to me? And stop scaring this woman?!" He called out.

"Don't directly address it!" She hissed, terrified. "Exorcism 101! It gets stronger!!"

Yuri slowly stood up, pulling out his chain. He made sure that one hand was close enough so Yui would grab it before the poltergeist would pull her off. He wasn't tring act like some tough guy, he was just getting defensive for Yui. He knew that himself and his weapons were made to be able to hit spirits, but the spirits won't feel as much pain from contact as they will in the physical world, only about half of the pain.

She grabbed his hand tightly, standing behind him. God, she usually wasn't the damsel in distress but holy shit... She was not going to fight this thing like this. Nothing came up in any physical form, but the activity continued.

Yuri looked at Yui. The look in her face was good enough for him to go out. He started walking to the porch, just to get Yui out of dodge.

She stayed behind him, nearly out when she was grabbed and ripped away, getting dragged down the hall.

Yuri looked back and he ran after her. "Yui!" He cried as he followed her down the hall.

She screamed as the door to the room she was pulled into was slammed shut. Things around her were pushed from shelves, lights flickered, and she found herself flying into the nearest wall with a deafening thud and audible cracks of a few bones.

Yuri saw the door slam shut. He tried to push it open at first. When he heard a thud, he had a feeling for the worse. He started to charge against the door. He soon was able to bring the door down. He found Yui and he picked her up again. He saw that there's a window they could use.

The girl was out cold and the activity was only more violent. This thing wanted them both dead. It started throwing things directly at him.

Yuri whipped his chain at the items flying at him, which made the items fly off to the side. He ran to Yui and he out her in his hold. He pulled out his pistol and he shot at the window, which weakened the window enough. Yuri ran to the window and he jumped out, covering Yui from the glass before he landed on his feet.

The woman was limp in his arms, but still alive and breathing. The house went quiet once they were out, eerily so. The thing was waiting to get them again.

Yuri sighed in relief when he knew for sure that she was alive. He walked to the porch and he sat on the steps. A half hour later, a man in robes walked to the house and he greeted aYuri before he checked on Yui.

She was barely conscious, slipping in and out of consciousness every few minutes. She had hit her head pretty hard.

Yuri looked at the Priest. "This is the house." The priest nodded before he walked inside by himself. Yuri kept watch of him from the door.

Yui looked around in a sort of daze. "Is the...holy man here?" She mumbled.

Yuri nodded as he looked at Yui. "Yeah, he just got here in fact. And he'll be fine." He told her.

She nodded slowly. "I think I broke a few things..." She stated offhandedly.

"What hurts? Yuri asked her as he adjusted himself.
