Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

"No, I don't." She said almost too firmly. "I have a soft spot for my family and pack, and I know what I'm talking about." She said looking from Apollo to Fredric then to their pack. "If you kill me, it wouldn't be at all hard for your enemies to replace me, and find some wizard to sell them even more powerful crystals. But I can help you." Fredric pleaded to Apollo he didn't want to die.

Donahue frowned when he heard sniffles and whimpers from inside the closet. So much for her being a good mate, she acted like she was terrified of him, and it made him made. He tried to get her to like him, to love him, but the earlier display of how fast she was willing to leave him just proved what a waste that was on his part. Sighing in disapointment he looked around for his shirt spotting it infront of Sabella's feet. "Is that so?" He asked walking over to his shirt getting closer than need be to pick it up and flexing as he put it on. "Well then, what exicites you exactly?" He said with a smirk looking her over as he spoke. She was rather boy-ish and flatter than he would have liked, but she didn't seem like she would be terrified when it came to mating.

"Yes of coarse." Mary nodded. "Jamison go get Elizabeth and some food for this dog." She said to her son kneeling beside the girl. "Have you dranken yet?" She asked avoiding talking about anything to obvious here.

"Yes mam. I'll be right back with Elizabeth and something for your big poochy." He cautiously reached out to give the big dog a scratch and get a lick on the cheek from him before running off. He never got a chance to get so close to dog before because of his parents so why not take it now?

"Eliiiiiiiizabeth! Where are you sister!" He shouted as he ran towards the meat cellars.

As they waited, Marius took it upon himself to sniff Mary up and down. He hadn't seen her for so long...she had changed so very much. Smelled the exact same though, for the most part. He could smell Gason stench on her as well. Still as putrid to his nostrils as ever.

Sabella, tilted her chin up and cocked an eyebrow up at him, a sly smirk spreading wryly across her pale pink lips. She took a step backwards, away from him, though it was an absolute chore to do so. Why in a million years would Thea run after her brother when she had this man waiting for her.

"Not boys, like you."

She teased and looked up at him through fallen strands of ashen blonde hair, her back straightened and small chest pushed out.

"Power excites me."

Fae shivered at the question and wrapped her arms tightly around herself.

"Blood? I have. There was a wolf, in the woods. He attacked me and I- I had to have died but I didn't and then I met him again and I attacked him and I... Well I bit him and drank and drank. I don't know what came over me. It tasted so so good though!"

She whined and looked to Marius, burying her hand into his fur.

Elizabeth frowned, screaming eachother's names was definately not part of their plan. "JaaAAAaamison!!" She called back following the sound of her twins's voice, stopping uburtly when she saw him. "Did you find ma?" She asked her exicitment showing through some. "What did she say?" She asked imediately heading back the way Jamison came.

"I did! She thinks that Fae is the same thing I am and was lookin for you. Probably afraid you'd say something to dad or grandma and grandpa." A slight frown creased his face. "I'm headed to get Fae's doggy something to eat while mom figures out what she needs right now. Y'know...blood or something." He shrugged as he headed in the opposite direction.

Marius could sense Fae was nervous and sat up a little so her hand sunk deeper in his fur. His eyes trained straight at Mary, staring deep into her eyes. Those gorgeous blue eyes... Hoping she would get some hint to calm the girl down or offer some words of comfort. She obviously knew more about this than anyone.

(We should start curse back up, that way that half doesn't fall too behind.)

Donahue smirked at her tease, then stepped closer leaving her with the wall in her way preventing further backing up on her part. "If you don't mind me asking, what kind of power excites you the most~?" He asked his voice smoother than silk as his bright green eyes watched her carefully. "I myself find electricity to be quite riveting." He said trying to keep a straight face but it cracked into a grin and he started laughing.

Apollo regarded Fredric with a frown, and then- a grin. This snivelling witchling, how embarrassed Amber must be for having loved him. It made him feel stronger, better, powerful. He and Amber had built a family, a pack together and here he was alone and pitiful.

He would be merciful. To please Amber.

"Have him put in a holding den. For safe keeping. Have guards set at the door at all times. Bring him all materials he needs to create his magic crystals for us."

Apollo slipped his arm around Amber's waist and took his son Remus in his arm and Romulus grabbed Amber's hand.

"That is all."

Louisa looked at the man who had given her little Pheobe. He had aged, at least she had thought so. Perhaps it was because she found she didn't have time to look at him as often as she once had. They didn't take time to admire one another anymore. She ignored his offer now, a new issue pressing her mind.

"It's getting colder up here. There's less and less food. All the animals are going to the south lands. Maybe that's where we should be going too."

She knew it was dangerous venturing into wolve's territory but they would die up here if they waited to move any longer.

"I agree, while these woods have treated us well for years we must move on. Perhaps to a village finally? Where it's not such a struggle to live. We could own a small farm with no worries of wolves attacking livestock. Fresh eggs and milk. A wider variety of things to eat and wear." He reached out to gently stroke her cheek. She looked like she had hardly aged a day since they had been together. "Best of all, Pheobe would have friends her own age to play with."

"A wolf?" Mary muttered with surprise, breifly wondering if she meant an actual wolf or a werewolf. "Yes, the first drink is usually the most delicious. It is what helps kick start your addiction to blood." She said looking back in the direction of her son. "Did you kill the wolf?" She asked looking back to her then to her large dog. It looked incredibly familiar, she just couldn't place why.

The other wolves nodded and did as they were told talking the fearful Fredric away. Without a word Amber gently squeezed Romulus's hand and gave Apollo a grateful kiss on his bearded cheek. "They won't even know what hit them." She said trying to be encouraging that this was the right choice. "Apollo-" "wait!" Fredric suddenly interrupted her as he started fighting off the wolves dragging him to the holding den. "Lottie!" He cried his worried eyes meeting Ambers as he remembered she was expecting him to come home soon. "I can't leave her alone! She needs me! I have get her, she's my-! My wife! She needs me!" He pleaded to the alphas his eyes looking from Amber to Apollo. "Please!" He said to Amber as he was still being dragged away. He knew Amber knew his sister Lottie, he also knew Apollo probably wouldn't help him if he thought it was his sister.

Amber wondered breifly why he wasn't asking for Mattie too, but decided not to comment on it. Leaning closer to her mate, looking up at him wondering if he would reunite the two or not.

Louisa frowned deeply and rubbed her forearm, perhaps hoping to somehow scrub off the goose bumps that raised all along her arms.

"A village? Don't you think that might be too much? We've been gone from anything and everything for what, seven years? Phoebe doesn't even know what another child looks like or how to interact with another."

Sabella's lip curled into a grin. His laugh was just as intoxicating as his scent, his eyes and body language. How strange that she should be attracted to him, and it seemed him to her. She was far from the fair and dainty she wolves he usually trailed after, Thea, that is. They did however say opposites attract-

Now she was getting ahead of herself. He had only made a joke, only teased her. All wolves did that to get a rise out of a willing shewolf.

"Electricity you say? Well why bother with girls then, just go rub up on a lightbulb. They're warm and dull as well aren't they?"

Sabella snorted and ducked under his arm, she wouldn't be trapped so easily.

Donahue smirked watching her go. "Oh yes, and they have all the right curves in all the places. The only downside is they can be a little too delicate at times." He said with mock seriousness then the sound of Thea's father called his attention.

"Theadosia?" He called entering without knocking. "Sabella!" He said seeing his daughters friend, "Donahue you're here too? How sly of you to enter a young shewolf's room this late." He laughed walking shakily torwards them but pausing when he didn't see his daughter. "Where is she?" He asked looking from Donahue to Sabella wanting an explanation.

"That is all the more reason to go to a village or as close to one as we can. I am afreared that our little Phoebe will grow up knowing nothing but loneliness...if we were to pass on early she would be left to fend for herself in the woods." Sadness filled Samuel's eye. "I cannot bear to think of what would become of either of you if something like that happened. Living closer to others may be the best for us.."

"Theodosia? She's gone to get dressed. My father announced we'll be having a feast and dance tonight. I wouldn't dare go if I didn't have Thea to keep me company."

Sabella smiled and help walk the old man to an empty arm chair, guiding him with a hand on his shoulder and the other on his elbow. She felt soft towards the ailing old man perhaps because he was so very weak.

"You're too kind, thank you." The old wild said with a kind smile. "Speaking of Thea..." Donahue muttered walking over to the closet Thea had locked herself in. "Thea are you ready yet?" He asked trying to use his kindest voice knowing he was the reason she was in there yet not wanting her father to figure that out either.

A soft voice squeaked from the closet.

"No! Go on without me! Tell Sabella I'll be there!"

A sniffle followed and then there was nothing but small shufflings from behind the heavy fur curtain.

Sabella cocked an eyebrow in confusion and then took a step towards the closet before stopping and turning back. Her friend would be fine with a little bit of time.

"You won't be joining us tonight sir? Donahue?"

She asked the two men, fixing the one sleeve of the old man's shirt as it had rolled down and become rumpled.

The old wolf thinking his daughter bothered by what the pack alpha had said didn't say anything, about her sniffling but chuckled when Sabella spoke to him. "Oh no, I've had plenty of feasts in my youth, it your turn now to enjoy them. though don't get too carried away in your fun, I remember once when I was your age...." He continued trailing into a very long story about his youth and how crazy it was, making sure he had Sabella's attention the whole time. But Donahue seeing Thea's father distracted deep in his story Don slowly walked into the closest not needing to look around to spot who he was looking for. "Thea..." He said softly steping toward her, he found it amazing how she was beautiful even when crying.

Amber picked up her son walking him back into the den with her other son running on ahead of her and Apollo, ignoring the pleas of Fredric as he was dragged away. "God damnit!" Fredric yelled as he struggled.
