Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

Luna look startled at the sudden appearance of the man, and then suddenly hurt at being called a 'bitch'. "I-uh-I don't comprehend? Maybe I should just leave..." She grit her teeth and turned to face the opposite direction. It was obvious that she was of the same age as Jamison, but even so this man seemed to treat her like some psychotic criminal. Her voice had been soft and calm with hurt undertones. She looked over at Jamison with a small sympathetic nod and then proceeded to begin to walk away. There was no way she was going to get caught up in all that trouble.

Abby stands up, eventually, and decides to take a walk. So she begins walking around the town, ignoring the occasional stare of whoever was out at this time. She found herself stopping in front of the house with the playing children, and she gazed at the house thoughtfully. The vibe she got from the house felt like something was amiss, but that didn't always mean anything, or anything serious if it did. She looked around, and, after seeing no people around, she hesitantly walks to the front door of the home. She stops at the front door, not sure of what she might say. Is something the matter? She had never met the people in the house, and didn't know what they were like. Or what they were. Also, if she said that, they would know she was crazy, because how would she have in known something was amiss? She sighs, defeated, and walks back to the main road and waits.

(that would be the house of Jamison ( @Axel1313 ) and Gaston ( @Valjean24601 ).)

"W-wait! No! Please don't go! Just ignore him, he doesn't know anything." Jamison pleaded as she began to leave. He actually liked talking to her. She was the first person outside of the village he'd ever spoken to and gotten a kind and open response.

He turned sharply on his heel to face his father directly. "You always ruin everything you know! I try to make a friend and you call them a b*tch before you even know them?! This happens every single time I get close to anyone! Why don't you just...get out of my life for once you selfish b@stard!!" Each word he spoke was dripping with venom. Even he didn't know where it was coming from, the pent up frustration? Some underlying internal problem? Something not being said in their family? Whatever the case it was not pretty coming from the normally shy and quiet Jamison.

Abby stands up before even realizing she had sat down beside the road. She brushed an ant off of her arm and walks away regretfully from the house, glancing back at it every two steps. She starts towards the forest again and begins to scour every inch of it, this time looking for a person to mess with. She was, for lack of a better word, bored. Then, she hears an echoing shout, or loud speaking, whatever. It didn't really matter. She heads towards the voices, quickly and silently as a wraith. She creeps through the bushes as she gets close, then sees a man and a young woman and man. She grins. They seem to be having an argument. Maybe a little 'paranormal activity' of my own would bring them close again, she thinks with a grin. She plucks a small leaf from the bush she was in and uses her power to launch it towards the young man. The leaf hits the side of his neck and drifts to the ground.

"J-Jamison!" Jacques sputtered, his breathing quickened and he was turning red in the face. Green exploded from his fingers and the whole hallway seemed to blaze with the light of the little boy's aura.

"Mamma he's just upset! You don't have to be angry!"

He growled and balled his fists, grimacing as his power sparked and burst.

Gaston was taken aback by his son and stood shocked for a moment before grabbing his son's arm and tugging him towards home.

"Jamison you can be friends with anyone else but a mutt, you can't trust them."

Abby raises an eyebrow, then skirts to the side, over to where the man seemed to be pulling the young man. She puts an open hand against a tree and blows out that area with her power. Of course, they would hear the piece of the tree landing, but... as the tree fell, they would hear that too. The tree slowly begins to fall over, slowly at first, then crashing down sideways, seemingly blocking their path. Except that they could just climb over it, but that wasn't the point. It wasn't a very big tree anyways.

Luna paused as Jamison had asked her to, but then when his father began to drag him away, she pouted and nodded understandingly. Of course his father wouldn't take to the idea of his son talking to a werewolf, especially after all the stories that had been travelling around. "Good bye, Jamison, it was nice meeting you!" She smiled awkwardly before turning around and she began to walk away.

Jamison yanked his arm away. Looking back at the girl in angst as she left. He was enjoying talking to her. "Bye! I...uh...I hope we meet again!" He made it sound as happy as he could before turning to his father again with that nasty glare.

"Ugh! I hate you!" He snapped. His ears twitching for a moment as he heard a tree fall nearby. Were there others around? "how do you know you can't trust them!? You've never spoken to one or gotten to know one. She seemed nice! Nothing at all like those stupid stories you've always told just to scare us." His face was deep red and hot at this point, he was seething mad at his father.

Abby hesitated as the people begin to part ways. She creeps over to the opposite side of where she had been in correspondence with the group of people, closer to where the girl was. She grins as the girl passes her without seeing her. She reaches out and brushes two fingers against her leg before snatching them away and backing away, becoming, hopefully, unseen. She creeps back towards the man and his son without waiting for the girl's reaction.

"Children, have you seen Ezekiel and Willow?" Artemis asked as she strode in. She hadn't aged a single bit. Her fiery red hair was as radiant as ever and her figure full and voluptuous. She had been doing a head count of the cubs and so far only those two were the only unaccounted for, so maybe Vivian's spawn had seen them.

"There has long been a history between the wolves and witches of this place and it hasn't been a pleasant one, Jamison! If any of them were to find out who's grandson you were... Especially one of those beasts you would be eaten alive! You listen to me young man... I don't know what your mother would do if something were to happen to you. She can't take another heart break. The poor woman has been through enough... Think of your mother."

Gaston urged his son, kneeling in front of him so to speak better to him. He wiped rain from Jamison's cheeks with the back of his hand.

"Come on now, we're going home."

Sabella growled beneath her breath and earned another dagger like look from her mother.

"Nope. Haven't seen hide nor hair of them and I'm not complaining about it either."

Sabella spat at Artemis's feet, a habit that she'd been practicing for years now. It was one of Sabell's many bad habits that Vivian was happy about, it made her laugh from time to time when Artemis wasn't looking. Although this time Vivian snorted and smirked.

Dameon watched Sabella with narrowed eyes. She was quite the brat, especially now that she was becoming a woman, a boyishly thin woman at that. She was gangly and sassy, something that the majority of the males in the pack found very unappealing. But it wasn't like the little bitch cared. Dameon's lip curled up in a snarl and he went to his mother.

"I'll go see if I can find them, mother. I'm sure they aren't far."

Luna carried on walking, despite being able to hear the muffled voices of Jamison and his father. She decided to ignore the whole scene, it didn't matter much to her anymore. It was so frequent that she just thought it irrelevant. She also doubted the fact that she would ever see Jamison again. "Goodbye," she muttered under her breath, turning around to look at the trail that the two had left on, before forwards once again. Wincing, she walked on. Her feet were beginning to blister and felt sore. Every step she took was painful and sore. After lifting her nose and sniffing, she caught scent of wolves, and followed it hastily.

"How do you know? Nobody has spoken to the wolves in years..they used to be so nice. Uncle Salvador said so..." He sniffled. He was feeling awful now. He'd worked himself up so much that he'd given himself an upset stomach and headache. He stared at the ground, arms straight down at his sides as Gaston wiped the rain from his face. "Mom wouldn't care. She never listens anymore...least not to me. None of you really do..."

@Valjean24601

"Faye, you better be going straight to your room to rest young lady. You nearly gave me a heart attack so you aren't doing anything but relaxing tonight!" Marius called back to her as she left. He didn't break eye contact with the young wolf who had bust in to the cabin at all. His instincts were screaming at him to make sure this whelp knew who was top dog here.

"Ezekiel, leave! You have no business here anymore!" Willow snarled at her brother. "Don't make me tell our father! or grandpa."

Abby listens to the boy's words, feeling a little guilty of herself for listening in. She rubs her eyes, suddenly feeling exhausted, and sighs. She claps a hand over her mouth after realizing her sigh was easily audible to the two. She creeps back, trying to get away as quickly as possible, but in her haste, she snaps a smaller branch underfoot. She stops in place, not trusting to be able to go any further without revealing her presence even more so.

((Still uh.....trying to figure out the future of this forum...sorry for any waits or disappointment. There may be a passing of the torch for gm or just a restart altogether if there is an answer soon enough. Wish something could be done now, but best not skip ahead or make anything new without the creator's permission, that would be a poo thing to do.))

((No no. Not deadness. Not yet! I'm trying to figure out a solution to keep this one going since it would be ending far too abruptly without a word...Just need @EvelienLocalArtist to help with the fate of it ASAP. Y'all keep your chins up!))

((Ah, right. Yeah....I will if the gm doesn't wish to pass the torch but allows a redo of this one.))

Ezekiel glared at his sister grinding his teeth angrily. "What?! And you do?! You don't have anymore right to be here than I do!" He yelled at Willow ignoring Marius. "I was doing what wolves do, HUNTING! Not staring at some stupid human girl like she was your long lost friend. She was food, a meal that no thanks to you I couldn't finish, but I'll be damned if I don't." He snapped turning to Marius. "I will be back for my food and there is nothing you, nor my pathetic sister can do to stop me!" With that he knocked over the kerosene lamp beside him and the flaming oil spilled out onto the wooden floor and he left leaving them to deal with the fire. He was so mad he didn't even look back. If his sister was smart she would come with him, if not she would try to help put out the fire. Either way he didn't care, he was more concerned about that girl. He had slaughtered her, eaten half her body yet she just stood and walked away. She was completely fine now and looked like nothing happened. How could that be?! He asked himself as he shifted into his wolf form and headed back for the den.

"Saw them this morning when they left for a hunt haven't seen them since." He grunted sitting down and stretching out, but not looking at Artemis.

Ash sighed watching his family's interactions. He hated this, he wished everyone would just get along, course he'd been wishing that for the past 13 years but things only got worse. "They should be back anytime now, if not I can go look for them." He said then turned to Vivian he saw her smirk and frowned. She was encouraging their childern to act like this, and he hated it but he couldn't stop her because then Vivian would think he was siding with Artemis and she would leave him, and that was the last thing he wanted. "In the mean time I'm going to check on the pack." He said to Vivian and left not wanting to deal the tension between the two women right now.

@Axel1313 @Valjean24601

"Jamison... Jamison... It's silly to think we don't care, that we don't listen. It may seem so but your mother and I are trying our hardest and with Jacques, well, it gets harder and harder by the day. Your grandparents are getting older and soon our family may be obligated to move to the Coven House. It's all very new and strange for us all son. But things will get better."

Gaston smiled wearily as he reassured his son, purposely avoiding the topic of wolves.

"Go ahead and try it mutt! I'll tear you limb from limb if you so much as look at her again." Marius snarled and bared his teeth viciously at the boy. He didn't have much time to threaten the kid though as he knocked a lamp over and set the floor ablaze. A brief flash of the night his house and face were set ablaze struck, but he shoved that aside as quickly as possible to deal with the issue at hand.

"I was being smart and avoiding angering the humans and witches! Don't you remember any of the stories mother and father told us?" She snapped back. "Ezekiel!" She shouted as her brother stormed off. Swearing to get revenge on the poor girl and setting the house ablaze in his wake. "Such an idiot. I am terribly sorry sir, I swear I will make it up to you and your daughter later. I...I have to get going home now though, before my parents worry" It pained her to up and leave them like this. But she had to go, who knows what her brother would say if she was not there to defend herself immediately? After a nod of understanding from the male, she shifted into her wolf form and bounded home as fast as she could.

@EvelienLocalArtist @Valjean24601 (and anyone else who wants to respond.)

"If you do listen then why didn't you answer my question again..." He sighed heavily and finally leaned in to his father's shoulder with a sniffle like a small child. He just wanted to go home and sleep now. He was exhausted and sick, cold and wet. "You're so worried about Jacques anymore....and babying Elizabeth. I feel like...I could disappear and you wouldn't really care or notice, because I've...uh..run off into the woods before like this. Not as far or blindly though. And everyone thought I was just in my room all day or somewhere in the house." He admitted with another sniffle.
